I have been following several threads of this forum.
My question is to Mak or anyone who may be qualified to answer it.

I can't but help wondering, how all the sites mentioned above manage to top the google search engines. I mean, do they actually earn so much that they can afford to bid high enough to maintain their ratings?

I really do want to know how they manage to do all this.
I mean, is it that simple? Simply publish your site on the web and attract clients?

I understand that they may not be in the initial years of their business....but then, they must have begun somehow.

Going by the manner in which these company representatives or owners are spoken of, I wonder how they would be managing all this.
For instance, in the above post, Essay Academy is owned by a Chinese Entreprenuer and has a site for inviting clients and writers.
But there must be a parallel site as well, to enable tehir writers to see the orders placed by clients......How do they manage this?

Manada,

I understand that these two have managed to open remote companies, but how do they manage to attract clients?
I mean, the technical aspect of it. Is it simple or are these two software professionals or what?
I'm getting seriously interested in how all of this works!

Customessays.co.uk is parallel to or an affiliate of which writing company?
Does anybody know?
This would be helpful to potential writers like me who want to take up freelance writing as a part-time career.

Writing Careers / writers.ph is really a scam [34]

Maybe This person could help you voice your concerns!
This is a quote from some Thomas who had posted:

Hi,

I'm a reporter for the Chronicle of Higher Education and I'm working on a story about custom-written essays. I'd very much like to talk to current and former essay writers to see what their experience has been like. I'd also like to talk to some students who have been able to use custom-written essays.

Here's my e-mail address:

thomas.bartlett[the at symbol]chronicle.com

If you wish to remain anonymous, that's fine. Thanks in advance for the help.

Thomas

He continues:

I'm a reporter for the Chronicle of Higher Education and I'm working on an article about Essay Writers/writers.ph. I would like to speak to writers who have worked in the Philippines office or who have knowledge about how the company operates. Please e-mail me at thomas.bartlett@chronicle.com. Thanks!

So, what according to you should be the fair rate for writers?
Is it possible to negotiate with writing companies? If so, how does on go about doing it?
Thanks:)

Writers should not work for less than 55% (with a 70% ceiling) of what the customer pays.

Thanks for your valuable input. But how does one know what the customer has paid? Do writing companies inform their writers how much the customer has paid? If not, then how does one go about negotiating with companies, especially if the writer is new and has no experience?

Thanks.

But with so much manipulation, how is it possible to filter the Actual American and European companies from the ones owned by people from other countries?

Shouldn't these be listed Somewhere?......Atleast to help newcomers?

Well.....I have the resources to manage and set up a site, but, is it that simple?
I mean, how does one go about managing SEO and site rankings?
Isn't that necessary in this business?
This is what I have guaged from my research so far!

Um, if you're qualified, you can get a job with one of the LEGITIMATE companies. They offer high, on-time payment.

And....how should I begin if I want to get a job with such a company?
Please could you help and inform me?
Thanks:)

Essay Services / coursework4you.co.uk [63]

any company that is dishonest about its location does not get my business.

Thats an extremely valid point.
All companies, must advertize their true locations, and leave it to the clients to decide, whether or not to avail their services. The implications will be positive; clients will not have high expectations.

Additionally, companies will gain respect for doing so because if papers are good and companies are truthful, they will not be battered in forums like these.

Companies and Paper mills must not lie about their locations. Period.

So, The two people defending essays.ph claim not to be writing for the company becasue it is not a writing company?
Then why did the discussion begin in the first place?

Are you a freelance writer?

If you see the rates on privatewriting.com that they take from students, it's nearly 245 dollars for a 2500 word essay.

Well That `means that they are ccharging about $10 per page and paying approximately half the amount to writers, which is, not bad from what I've gauged from this forum. Do they have rigid rules of selecting writers?
