[Moved from]: Opinions Invited: freelance writers database .co.uk

In my quest to navigating through the multitude of scam/spam/rip-off sites I have come across the above and although I have searched the Forum, have found no mention of them.

I am mindful of the admonishments Newbies (like myself) receive when it comes to Forum rules, so please let me be clear:

I am not seeking a recommendation, but merely asking if this site has been discussed before and if I have missed any previous posts that would suggest as to its credibility.

Thank you!

Essay Services / Professays or HonestEssays? [42]

It seems such a shame that a post for help get cut down and drowned in 'who not to use' - its difficult to find who to use...this site can be so useful in beating Scam Sites - but we seem more pre-occupied about squabbling with ourselves.

Essay Services / Legit Custom Writing Site [25]

We seem to have a lot of suggestions on which sites not to use, rather than directing people away from Scam Sites to actual genuine ones that could be suggested, without recommending them (which appears to be against Forum Policy here).

General Talk / turnitin and plagiarism [28]

Its not a clever peice of software, but like most it can be beaten.

TurnItIn (UK) doesn't appear to be that intelligent - it matches sentences and words to what it holds in its databases. You can avoid spurious returns by only submitting the pertinent parts of the essay (IE: no need to include the references/bibliography page as that will result in 'hits' being found in their database).
