Hi WRT - Borrowed as in Plagiarized?

The above transcript reveals a very serious crime which she and her friend seem to be contemplating. This should be dealt with very very strongly!!

I mean come to think of it........ This forum shreds to pieces term paper mills which are not owned by English speaking owners or based in English speaking Countries. This is FAR MORE SERIOUS.

This is REAL CRIME.

Apparently it was a Skype transcript. She said "I have more evidence of the aforementioned, and the 'hackers' resume stating his IT skills. He is Pakistani."

Hi all,

It good to be back after a while.

Regarding the above post, it clearly mentions that these people are very dangerous. This is certain. What I do fail to understand is - how can anyone, just ANYONE Hack into someone's site or account. I do not understand programming and stuff very well, but I do know that this shouldn't and cannot be done.

This lady appears to be much more dangerous than I been told. Imagine hacking into sites for secret info!!

Someone from India who uses wiretransfer for his salary, please help.

Google it. You can easily find it. The best way is to call the bank and enquire - I faced a similar situation earlier and found all the information I needed on the web. However, I did confirm this by calling the customer care department.

Its no big deal - you shud be able to get it easily.

When i sign a debit or credit card, it's merely a piece of paper which does not include any seal or government stamp nor is it notarized to authenticate it. Yet, if I fail to make payments for these funds (not in the case of debit cards), I can be held accountable in an Indian court of law.

am trying to help now and 'settle this liability' - but you're not providing me with the details!

Forget it Carly, you're simply wasting your time. He/she will never respond to anything reasonable and logical.

If this evidence is real, then it looks like essaybay is indeed cheating you....

I need the help of people like you here who never leave an opportunity unattended to label foreign companies as cheat..

OxbridgeResearchers:
I quite clearly said on this, and multiple other occasions, that EB's support system is bad.

I consider essaybay as a good company because its automatic payment system through paypal is really nice however, there are some issues specially with CSR.

What a turnaround!!

My war of words here is with certain individuals and not with you or anyone related with your firm.

People,get that?!!

I'm not interested in the ongoing slugfest but I thought it would be wise to step in and correct the error so readers know what's up.

Lavinia, sending you a PM. Could you respond pls?

Hmmm, comes across as a sincere effort to make it appear as bad as possible.......There are a few dead giveaway signs......

Please know this: i am been working with my clients all over the world and they love and like what i do.

to be abused by people

The grammar tends to return to normalcy despite the effort to make it sound awful.

Hey EW_writer !!! I have set a perfect platform for you to set score with WB and her pathetic colleagues...... Com'on... show them that they are cheat and fraud too....

U really do think you're smart, don't you?

you should stand for it regardless of the fact that the person putting forward the evidence belong to different race and color... Have courage..

Race and color don't matter Chacha......what matters to me is that you're pointing a finger at those who aren't in the least involved, by your generalizations.

In this case buyer paid and the site is showing that payment still as pending........ despite the fact that i received official email from them that funds have been placed in escrow.. once funds are in escrow, only writer can cancel tham and buyer can release them and in this case, payment has been paid to the co and not to the writer..

I consider this to be morally and ethically incorrect. If the writer has paid for your work, there's no reason for the company to cancel payments to you. Unless ofcourse, the writer has communicated dissatisfaction or demanded a refund.

they charge customers in GBP POUNDS (This is what their email shows.) however, they pay the equivalent amount of GBP Pounds in dollars without giving the exchange difference to the writer.. In this way they are not only earning commissions but profits arising due to exchange differences too...

These are means by which companies make additional profits and will ofcourse, benefit from the exchange differences. This is the whole essence of the outsourcing industry. Why do you think India and other Asian countries are the preferred destination of the Western world?

Probably you can not because you risk loosing your own job.....

I won't risk losing my job for such trivial reasons.

I am based in Manchester, UK.. You can always reach me at Lacrosse avenue, Oldham, Greater Manchester

PM me your phone number and we'll confirm within a sec.

I can produce the actual emails in the court of law.....

By all means........please go ahead. We need champions of truth and courage like you in the writing industry. I wish you luck in all your legal, moral and ethical battles against all the illegal and fraud writing companies of the UK and US.

Those in India, Pakistan, and the other parts of the world are, I'm sure, adhering to all the legal and ethical standards, so they can have your support.

Since you're fighting such an important battle, I'd suggest that the foundation should be strong; so lets begin with having you admit which country you hail from, rather than posing as a UK citizen. This way, you can champion the cause of truth with honesty and courage, so that I or anyone else, can't point a finger at you. What say?

Good luck!!

this forum is owned or operated by OR and WB

Oh God...., Uncle (Chacha in Hindi or Urdu) 421 (Sensible of you to add a numerical to your initial choice of 420 which has a negative connotation implying "fraud"), this forum does not belong to them and, to the best of my knowledge, the former is anything but a racist!

I fail to understand the reason for your posting babble here day after day, cos you're only causing more harm than good to yourself.

Uncle, are you from Pakistan or India? And please, don't tell me you're from the US or Uk; let's just be honest for once?!

Why do you go on and on and on.......aimlessly. I hate to interfere but do you realise the harm that you have done to your esteem in this entire process of baseless and useless arguements?

Don't you think its time to stop and move on now?

All of my direct clients know that I'm an ESL writer from India and have absolutely NO issues with that. In fact, they refer more clients to me every year, some of whom I have to refuse or re-direct to other ESL writers.

Regarding the companies which I work for, I have absolutely no qualms about being called what I am, an ESL writer from India. And very soon, companies Will proudly begin acclaiming that they have Qualified ESL writers who deliver nothing but the best.

The world is rapidly changing, lets wait and watch what it holds for us (ESL writers).

"Kevin Lloyd, CTO at Barclays Bank, said....he doesn't care where in the world the services are done as long as the cost and quality are right" (silicon.com/research/specialreports/offshoring/0,3800003026,39124952,00.htm)

Absolutely nothing is being taken for granted here.

Speaking for myself, my direct clients are dispersed through the US (Chicago, New York, Florida)......working as correctional officers, mental health counsellors, secondary school teachers, social workers ......and ALL of them are native English speakers.

I do however agree that a good number of clients whom I cater to via the sites, appear to be non native ESL students.

Well, research and offshoring boundaries are certainly expanding.........Love them or hate them, u simply can't ignore them. Period.

All of the characters that Sarah Jones uses allow anyone who views the video to think about how we construct identity and character. Jones uses voice, body language, accents, and props to convey characters as diverse as a British woman and an old Jewish lady. Watching this video could be extremely useful for a multicultural education class. A teacher could use it to start a discussion on how we identify ourselves, as well as about stereotypes. What traits are "typical" of certain groups, and how can this be both a positive and a negative? What kind of groups, be they ethnic, religious, interest-based, or of another sort, do students identify with? Starting with this video would give a light-hearted introduction to a difficult topic, and perhaps allow students to access a challenging topic in a way that they can connect to personally but that also is non-threatening.

Discussion of what makes identity, how we choose to make our own identity and what is innate, and why all of this is important is challenging for students of any age, and one of the things that is needed in order to discuss this sort of thing is a safe space in which students can do some activities to understand themselves and then feel comfortable talking about them. One way to use this video presentation as an activity would be to have students keep track of which stereotypes (or identities) they laughed at, which they identified with, and why. (A pre-prepared worksheet would be useful for this process.) This would allow students to have first-hand examples of how people react to identity and identity building from their own ideas as the discussion goes forward. Ultimately, a video like Sarah Jones' is a great tool for a teacher of multi-cultural education, and teachers should not hesitate to use it.

What people like Freelance Writer find hard if not impossible to mentally digest is the fact that academic writing is not about having perfect grammar.

Bang on........as Always..........

thanks.

Your welcome, I could sense you neeeded it real bad :)

Wish u Luck.

Explain.

Humane, cos the company treats its writers courteously and understands that writers are human, can make mistakes and should be given a fair chance. Writers are not treated like machines by imposing automated fines on them.

Practical, cos the company owners understand that it is in UNITY that they will flourish, which is why they have sensible policies in place, to attract and retain good writers. Payments are bang on time and fines (to my knowledge) are never imposed automatically.

I'm just continually amazed that someone whose English writing ability is as bad as yours actually expects native English speakers to pay you to write in English.

Well, not only do I expect them to pay me, I also expect (and often succeed in getting) excellent feedback for my professional writing skills (in your native language English).

The fact that you never have any idea what's wrong with your obviously foreign idiomatic expressions even after I point them out only proves how ridiculous it is for you to hold yourself out as a professional writer in the English language.

Naturally, I wont. I'm not a native speaker remember? And, in my profession, I'm not expected to either. Your very own native English speaking co-citizens pay me for writing scholarly academic papers and confirm my excellence by returning to me again and again and again.... Most of my clients have been referred to me by previous clients.

Anyway.....its a big world and there's place for all of us. You live in yours (by your principles) while I continue to live in my very own (ridiculous world), earning a supplementary income worth several thousands.

Well, recommendations are strictly not allowed. All I can say is that it is a writing company with an excellent approach, humane and practical.
dearbats
Jun 20, 2009

I don't think so. If the plagiarism detector got it, the fine was automatic.

Haven't really had any such experience so far, since, RWC notifies writers and sets the order for revision in case plagiarism is detected. So does one other company I work for.

Many a times, like EW mentioned, editing orders can have instances of plagiarism. I really appreciate the policy of RWC according to which papers are thoroughly scanned and set for revision so that the writer can revise it if plagiarism has been detected.

That is a positive and humane approach which ensures that good writers stick around cos they consider themselves to be a part of the company.

I checked their turnitin report, and all of the "plagiarism" was in-text citations! it was all in quotation marks... ?!?!

But only a certain percentage of intext citation is allowed.....any more than that is considered as plagiarism.

Initially they warn you and ask you to reduce the citations, after which they begin to fine you, I guess.

Mate,

I'll give you $10,000 to write me three 100-word pieces.

Just send me your bank details, a couple of utility bills and a photocopy of your passport and I'll get straight back to you.

Which country do you belong to?
