That is awful. Hope you did not lose one year. Happened to a student here. She was quite capable of getting good scores on her own; but was after a better grade, got the essays from Academia and failed. Is too frightened to do anything about it, quite naturally.

I am sure they pay the tax as a well-known company. Changing the writers' names is not criminal either. But they can definitely get caught for cheating the writers, if you know how to tackle the issue. I didn't.

When an employee leaves, the replaced employee takes the same name and behaves like a person suffering from amnesia. They are all right. It is people like Alex and Sean who make you lose your will to live. Please don't remind me of these two companies. I feel sick thinking about the lost, hard-earned money.

Agree with you. Yes, Alex is the worst, because his English is better and highly abusive. Others cannot express themselves. I know of at least three Jessicas there. It is a terrible company. Who is better? The partially paying Master papers or the total amount grabbing Projects1stclass? Both are equally bad. As we get partially paid by Masterpapers, we continue to work and make bigger fools of ourselves.

We have not heard from Tarangita for a long time now. But I have noticed that his Project1stclass is working with the same flourish, asking the writers to join any time they choose. I don't think he has changed his activities in any way.

I am sorry to say this: I have stopped working for Academia. They don't pay. They pay as long as they can make a lot of money from your writing. Please do not depend on this company. You can keep it as an additional money fetcher; but not the main one. They always retain a portion of your money offering some reason or other, to cheat you out of it if you stop writing. This is not a good company. My friend was working for them and I got introduced through her. They seemed to have deteriorated in their dealings with the writers in recent months. Please believe me, now it is not a genuine company at all.

Project1st class do the same. They don't inform you where you have plagiarised. It is simply a ploy to retain your payment.

That is why I mentioned that I might return to it at a later stage. The best thing about writing is the enormous in-depth knowledge one acquires in the process. I am finding that psychological counselling is extremely interesting and computer design pays very well and they are not seasonal. Still, all of them could be difficult with two ongoing researches on highly diverse topics! Not complaining; my own choice.

It is lazytime for writers anyway. Hardly any work. I have realised that it is not a paying profession, and sometimes downright frustrating. I do some part time psychological counselling, computer work like websites, posters and collages. Still, the writing bug does not leave one so easily and might start all over again at a later stage; not now; being busy with Freud.

Both UK and US companies take outside writers. I cannot provide their names here as they are continuing to work. But it's a fact.

Has it ever occured to you that she might be a fantastic researcher? Students/people who need writing work are more interested in research than in impeccable English. An American or British writer with great language capabilities (not necessarily!) could be a poor researcher. What will the student do with his sublime English?

We, at least five of us, did everything possible against Peter Richardson of Project1stclass. We did not win! Yes, I agree that Kitty should not give up if there is a grain of possibility of getting compensated. If she can't, no point in regretting and losing sleep over it. Have been there many times.
