How quick should freelance writers be?

The speed by which a freelancer writer produces a paper will depend upon the agreed upon turn around time. However, do not expect a writer to produce 1000 pages overnight when the presentation requires intricate research and source materials. The student should have realistic expectations for a turn-around time. A 100 page paper can be churned out overnight, if the requirements are simple enough and easily accessible. An independent writer should inform the potential client of his actual turn around time. He should never agree to a turn around time as specified by the student just to get the job. Transparency is highly required when considering the speed by which the writer will be expected to complete the paper.

These days, a human academic writer can churn out a paper at a rate of about 5 in a day, depending upon the requirements of the student for the paper. I am giving a conservative guess of 5 per day because when I was an active writer, I could churn out 20 student papers a day, of varying page numbers. None of those papers ever came back for revisions. So the speed at which the freelance writer works is dependent upon the quality of his final outcome. The paper must be flawless regardless of the number of pages required or the deadline provided. Anybody can churn out an essay, an AI can spit one out in a matter of seconds. What matters is the quality of the work, not the speed by which it can be completed.
