Carly - My response was a reply to the LIBEL AND LIES of WRT by stating that unlike AA, I and 'my companies' do not satisfy my bond'. I own NO essay companies, and certainly not scam ones. I have asked the mods repestedly to remove the lies and libel spouted by WRT and his mummy the lunatic WB, but they do not - why? because this site is NOT regulated properly and is thus not legitimate. I suggest that any essay companies posting here does so just to try and desperately promote itself - some, like those WRT and WB are associated with, use posters here to disparage any legitimate site they choose. So actually, this site is tanatamount to a 'scam'.

My opinion that charging writers 300% fines is immoral and greedy of AA is an opinion shared by many. You yourself admit that your own terms and conditions are legally wrong. You yourself admit - in effect - that you agree with students handing in bought essays as their own work (or, as someone pointed out, you would not worry about fining writers...); you yourself admit that you have 'got the balance' wrong by always siding with customers - so no wonder so many writers loathe AA and AK and their fines.

By the way, please admit Carleeee that your guarantees are worthless - because it is up to the writers to pay them to customers, and not AA - so if the writers refuse to pay then the customer is the one who has to chase them and spend money on legal action. Some of us read small print Carleeee, and not just silly relationship management tomes (which must be pretty bad if the way you treat writers is anything to go by).

But one thing: yes, some writers are rubbish but think they are great so get sacked by essay companies and then moan in here - BUT - to fine writers is wrong. Why not just tell them they won't get paid for their late work? Or if they are really bad, let them go elsewhere? Not true of course - because as I see it, most scam sites are in Asia and the USA (not the UK), and also, the standard of education in the UK is higher than the US too, so the written work will be of a higher standard.

But really, Harvard is standard except for APA which is often used in social sciences - but students should always state which type of referencing they want - and really, a bibliography OF ANY KIND should come for free. But then, maybe not with the cheap US sites...

Bottom line is - you get what you pay for: if you pay cheap, you get cheap.

Best not to believe ANY advice on this forum - where any idiot can post any old lie and attempt to libel and abuse good companies, and say how great cheap trash companies are. Most essay writing comapanies are cheap in quality and price.

But ALWAYS a bibliography should come for free and not be part of the word count. The piece should be properly referenced too - Harvard if no other specification is made.

Here's how to deal with scam companies (which is NOT the same as companies falsely accused of being scams in here by the usual liars and spammers):

Firstly, contact your credit card company and/or PayPal - you may be able to get a refund there, though perhaps not as you got what you paid for (an essay) - and anyway, it's not much money you lost really, so perhaps you should have taken anything TheEssay was offering and THEN got your cash back from your credit card company too!!!

Secondly, contact Yahoo - TheEssay advertise a lot on there, and Google and other search engines - and they will block and ban TheEssay if there are complaints of fraud (their account will be frozen).

Thirdly, if in the UK you can contact trading standards at your local council and they will do all of this for you. (In the US you are on your own).

Better still, do your own essays in future and do not try and cheat!

And if you do want to buy a custom written essay, please understand that paying such a cheap price will NOT get you a quality essay written by a qualified writer - a third to a half of that money will go to the writer, which would mean your writer was getting a pittance.

You get what you pay for...
