I checked the company's live chat, and the operator claimed that the company was UK-based and had its service center in Orlando, and then proceeded not to know what Orlando's weather was like yesterday, even though my business was on the line.

You " Please update your info
Are you a Magic fan?
Paige
Not really
I am sorry, but I am not really supposed to talk about myself in chat
You Please update your info
Okay, Paige, one more question, and it's not personal, I promise.
Paige
Sure
You " Please update your info
You just have to do me a favor and answer in under five seconds.
It was really rainy yesterday, right?
Oooh, sorry Paige.

I hope that someone with more resources than I have in this industry checks up on this company, as I find lifting advanced skyscraper engineering papers as samples, as well as my live chat experience, to be very hinky.

This tactic seems familiar to me, as I have been around with many different companies. Imo, in cases like these, there really is no test; the people making the decisions are likely incompetent, and therefore are making fairly arbitrary decisions. That's why so many overseas outfits run by people who don't speak English as a living language have such problems with quality control; admin can't even read and understand the essays their company is putting out.

Anyway, not to digress... OP, you should probably consider yourself lucky to have avoided this place, and admin is likely having a laugh at you for trying so hard. My advice is to let it go, put it behind you, and make sure you don't lose any more of your time and effort on what is likely a shady outfit that would have eventually stolen from you.

You may also want to post the essay, because the validity of your claim appears to have been challenged.

Re: Jam Jar, my impression is that the organization is not run out of any advanced, industrialized nation where English is the mother tongue. If I had to guess from admin's poor spelling and grammar, I would say Eastern Europe or Ukraine. Also, they demanded that I send them a photo of myself holding a photo ID, which reeks of ex-Iron Curtain bureaucratic BS, and is not something that is status quo among respected organizations (such as they are in this murk). So, in short, if you want a ****** paper, and possibly your identity stolen, Jam Jar is your kind of dog and pony show.

What the hell is that? That's not proof of anything.

No one is going to feel sorry for you because you spent some money. If the essay you got really is a piece of ****, why not post it here and tear it to shreds? Instead, all you do is whine about your lost money and then begrudgingly tack on the milquetoast conclusion that it was "average." Who are you to judge? Post it here and let writers, teachers, and essay admin have a look. Till then, you'll get no sympathy, at least from me. I'm just going to think you're a greedy jerk who got an ungrateful, spiteful case of buyer's remorse-- the worst kind of customer imo.

Essay Services / How about gonerdify.com? [7]

I'd consider the horrible English on their web-copy a red flag. You can tell they're trying to keep it short and simple, but can't even use articles correctly.

They take ad money from anyone.

UKEssays (up above, stinking up the ad space): "Get your grade guaranteed."

UKEssays site: "The Customer therefore agrees that the quality standard ordered is not a guarantee of the mark they will receive when submitting their own piece of work, nor any guarantee of the Customer's final degree mark."

Which is it, then?

Anything can be said, including that the moon is made of green cheese. For sure... I was there a few weeks ago, calibrating my robots.

What can set a post like yours apart from the endless tide of spam that slimes these shores? How about a few details?

sources you can't trust.

ESL hacks who ooze their way into the essay biz trying to pass themselves off as fluent English speakers-- that's the real breach of trust. Have fun at your cake wake, you unqualified ***.

To look less like a spammer, you may want to provide some detailed information about your orders and experiences-- nothing that would identify you, of course, but feel free to "name names" when it comes to the company-- who was your writer, for example? Did you use the same writer for each project? What was the paper about? Things like that. It's a little late now, but give it a try.

Don't pay him, and maybe warn him a few times, and then fire him. When you start fining writers, you're out of line.

And here's a clue: the next time you go internet warrior in such an embarrassingly old-school way to protest your innocence, try denying, or ffs even addressing, the main accusation being made against you.

Nov 13, 2015

And now you want the readers to believe you were just stating your opinion, and not your direct customer experience? Weak. The fact that the mod took your other thread down ought to tell you something: you can't even get spamming right. Go work on your game, chump. Good luck.

he will pay for your travel fees to visit his office

This was my favorite part. Got that specific address on hand, Conner? That would be a start...

That should have been your first post, then-- you can't have it both ways. People don't care who you know. Why not lead with the stronger proof?

Plus, you still don't know what "specifics" are-- not to mention that you started another thread (which the mod took down already) asking for reviews. If you have experience with the company, why would you need reviews?

People don't just naturally buy BS, you know. You have to finesse it. Good luck, amateur spammer. Your game, at present, is as weak as your English. It's over for you here. The mod is onto you. Goodbye.

Your English isn't very good, so you may not know what specifics are. Specifics are things like what your order was about, which writer wrote it, how much it cost, what the customer service experience was like, if you talked to any supervisors, their names, etc.

Now that you know what "specifics" are, let me tell you what they are not: "I know people.... I know the owner..." So what? That tells people nothing about the experience of being a customer. I know lots of people whose business services are horrible; my knowing them doesn't somehow make them good.

You didn't think this through, did you?

Try searching in messages instead of topic titles; there are already threads on this company. Spoiler: stay away.

Yet another example of developing-world outfits who can't hire qualified, English-speaking writers, trying their best as usual to ruin the party for everyone else, including their customers. Short-term gain or nothing! "Let's bulldoze some more forests so that we can grow crap for a year and then live in a desert! Who's going to stop us?" Way to take the same ethos to the term-paper market, crackpots.

I was in a situation like this when I started out, although they didn't ask for as much. What they did ask for, I gave them copies of stuff that was expired, and blacked out or changed some of the numbers. And I insisted on checks. They hired me anyway, since they were just crook idiots who saw "paperwork" and pushed it through. I mean, look at their grammar. I think they see the whole "ask for excessive documentation" move as a scare tactic so that hacks who don't speak English don't sign up en masse. Anyway, as I recall, they ripped me off once I started writing for them. So, I would say either skip it or give them stuff they can't use, and then be very careful.

Essay Services / Unemployedprofessors.com review [49]

This is an anti-scam forum. It is not the kind of a review forum where you are supposed to be recommending companies in the first place. That said, since so many people do anyway, and since the site accepts advertising money from anyone and everyone, who cares, right?

That's why there's so much spam. In your case, what will make your post seem less like spam, whatever it is, is to give it a few details. A writer-name is a good start, but how about some of the customer service people's names? What about some details about your project-- you don't have to post the title page, but what was it about? How many pages was it?

Features like these can be faked, but they go a long way towards making your statement believable, as opposed to yet another vague endorsement with no supporting details for the "random chat" thread.

Maybe, but as long as people want careers, college should be pretty steady. Pre-written papers have been virtually worthless for years, so they're not an accurate barometer of much.

If I may ask, doodle, where are you from, and for whom are you writing, that your reality is currently so miserable?

I guess that counts as "nowhere."

Now to eat some of my words. This season is weird-- order requests seem to be down at most of the major companies. I am getting by on repeat clients, but don't ever remember it being this sparse this far into October. Does anyone know what's going on?

@major: Sorry; I'll need to see some statistics on that info. Otherwise, it would seem that you're pulling it out of thin air.

@doodle: Speak for yourself, ace.
