Oh yea my statement seems to be ambiguous. What I mean was that he could simply state the topic here and may be he could be helped because:

I would rather write my essay on my own but - it will not come out on paper and I am feeling like dope.

So all he needs is a little push and he might do it.

Marketing tactics.

1-Build a brand through quality service and customer satisfaction. Requires consistency.

2- Build multiple brands with different USPs (Unique Selling Proposition). Just as P&G markets several brands of Shampoos, soaps, and so on. In essay writing business a legit company could operate multiple sites catering to specific customers and providing services that are actually different. One site could be specializing in Science, another in Arts, one could be charging premium for better customer support, and so on. Some could be operating multiple sites just because different lay-outs, colors and other details attract particular types of customers. Just one example: (dont have source) it was found websites with red themes are more popular amongst women.

3- A fraud company trying to ripoff people, that does not care about brand image keeps opening new sites to trap people. When their scam stories spread, they come with a new name. It also increases the probability that a dissatisfied customer who intends to use a different service will drop by at another trap site. If there are total 100 essay writing sites and if company X owns 15. It increases the probability that the customer may shop again from one of the sites company X operates. This was a very simple example actual probabilities include more factors such as search engine rankings and so on.

Feel free to ask more.

* couldnt edit ;) here it is again Pro Bono
Jennifer you may be right. There are a number of legit sites and writers out there. At least a bunch of people on this forum know who the legit ones are. Please try to understand that this board is not for promoting legit sites. If you have been scammed; unearth the scammer. If a site you used was good, you are lucky. Make a blog and celebrate the discovery let the people know about your wonderful experience. Doing it here would obviously put you at the receiving end.

his site is for students expressing their view on being scammed.

Jennifer this site also caters to writers and uncovers writing sites that scam writers. It is just that to avoid a mess here commercial activities are discouraged.

Many companies employ low skilled agents who can not have a general or slightly off the topic chat. They are taught specific questions and replies. Anything off the routine conversation and they would get stuck :)

Skilled agents may have a very good idea about the genuineness of the person on the other hand. They may not waste their time being subjected to pranks :D

Pakistani scam

Scam is a scam, associating it with a particular country is defaming even legit business from that country.

Essay Services / About Oxbridge Essays! [33]

OxbridgeResearchers is a pretty long name. I would refer to you as OR.
OR I am impressed by the transparency if all that you said is true. I was also working on a similar thing, a 100% transparent service.

May be a website that offers real time status updates will help avoid this. If one sees no writer has picked the order in day or two, one could cancel the order and the company should refund the money.

General Talk / turnitin and plagiarism [28]

miffy,
I will explain it here as well for everyone. Buying an essay and turning it for credit, pretending that you have done the work whereas you have not, is academic dishonesty. I am not saying that you are doing it, but some people do. ;)

turning it in for credit*

General Talk / turnitin and plagiarism [28]

Not necessarily. If that article has been previously turned in to Turnitin's database it will show up.
There are many databases which are not indexed in Google, but they get caught by turnitin.

Writing Careers / 4writers.net scam or not ? [91]

One can buy hosting plans on servers located anywhere. One of my websites (not related to term paper writing) is registered in the name of the agent from whom I bought hosting. Location of the server on which a website is hosted is not at all conclusive evidence of the location of actual business.

Essay Services / premium-papers.com - Scam or Not? [17]

6. The EssayScam Forum is not a place for advertisements or publicity in any way. EssayScam and its moderators have the sole discretion to determine what constitutes an advertisement.

I did not advertise anything. Giving ones email address to another member is not advertising in my opinion. And if the moderator(s) thought it was advertisement, they could take necessary action. Other members do not have the right to determine what constitutes an advertisement. OK?

So, your official position seems to be that one violation justifies another. Nice. Perhaps the entire world should operate in such a manner?

No.

"general displeasure."

where did you get that from. Baker is obscure? why? so Bacon would also be obscure, and what about, Shaw, Russell, all obscure?
If only you had a chance to look at the book before commenting :D
Even if you think it is obscure.
It is not the only source. There are more classics, and Susan Gass is amongst modern linguists. She is Currently at MSU, she is the Director of the English Language Center, Co-Director of the Center for Language Education And Research, and Director of the Second Language Studies Ph.D. Program. She is also President of the International Association of Applied Linguistics.

I was specifically offended at the comments you made.
This phrase 100% grammatically correct and does not wrongly leaves any door open.
It was 100% correct. It conveyed my focused displeasure. And in my opinion it was politer than "offended by."

WB refering to the deleted posts with my yahoo id and your objection to it. It was not an advertisement in my opinion. I just gave my email address to another member who asked for it. It is understandable that no one would be comfortable sharing details here. You obviously can not see such posts for obvious reasons.

Those who already have seem to be very satisfied, including the one I referred to ********* for an essay that was out of my range.

Is this not an advertisement?

More for you

Which is exactly what all the fraudulent company shills do here. I admit who I am, what I do, that I'm reachable on aol, and I admit that I hope students will figure out how to contact me if they want to.

Please take a look at the source I referenced in one of my posts. The fact that you are biased is

"offended AT" wrongly leaves the door open

If we consider this explanation true for a moment. Why wrongly?

Source must be a neutral one.

My usage was absolutely correct. 'Offended at' has a meaning of displeasure. It also sounds a bit more polite.

Chris,
Most companies would hesitate to accept orders that have vague instructions, are specific to classroom discussions, require extensive primary research and analysis, and so on.

What you could do is develop the topic and outline yourself. Then place small and specific orders for each section/heading. Collect data and do the core work yourself.

There has to be a reason why so many companies did not take your order.
If you need more help feel free to post here or message me.

Well, one of them lacked citations. Though there were two sources cited in the text, a list of full citations at the end was not there. This is poor quality. When judging quality, a good piece of writing is not all that matters. It has to conform to the requirements of the customer. If a customer asks for 10 pages and you give 2, though written well, the paper would most likely be classified as poor.

swine,
I do not write for Essaywriters. I made an account once, and I was told by a friend of mine that he was not paid by this company. Since then the account is inactive, however I occasionally receive such emails.
