maybe i'm going to have to step up my marketing

Here is how I see the problem. Companies survive because their target audience is HUGE! They take everything, history, marketing, finances, religion, odd balls orders, you name it. Thus they have a lot of orders at any given time. Now a freelance writer is somewhat limited in topics he or she can take, unless this person is a rare genius. So not only a freelance writer has to reach wide audience, he or she has to reach very specialized audience according the topics he is proficient in. This could be a huge challenge.

I do not know, do you really think students just google search for essay companies? There is so much scam out there, it seems to be a REALLY bad idea. I was under the impression it has been always word of mouth, although I can be mistaken. It can be very risky to just pick some random site on google search, especially for urgent or serious projects or dissertations.

I am curious how one can "carve off a small hunk of the cheese." in such chaotic place, where no one trusts anyone, work is seasonal, and volume is uneven and often unpredictable. I get tons of orders at times and cannot take them all. But sometimes I just sit around with zero orders. The main problem with a freelance writer you can only write so much, you cannot physically write more. Plus it burns your brains and you have to get out of this business sooner or later.

that's sort of how this industry works;

No it is not. It is a well known fact that both essaychat and essayscam are set up for the sole purpose of promoting certain companies and their writers. Decent independent writers are constantly harassed and s*h*a*t upon by paid shills and company reps. The distrust and paranoia are intentionally created to herd maximum number of students towards specific companies and their writers.

Not a single company will work with you without getting their payment first. The references are completely irrelevant. Scammers can produces many references and "writing samples". The best way to go is to place a small order, see the quality and go from there. If you are lucky to find a good writer, think twice before switching the teams.

No essay company would ever do anything to promote any of its writers individually.

True, it does not make any sense...unless you are only posing as a writer but in reality you are a company rep scouting for orders. You just cast a wide net, some reps say they work for a company, some pretend to be freelance writers but work for the same company. No one actually sees you doing any writing, so you can say whatever, not like it can be independently verified. But it is in your best interests to vilify independent writers like me, because we are indeed your direct competition. We can do the same (and often better job) for less.

You even say this on your website: "If desired, I will also refer you to one of the larger commercial sites whose honesty and business practices I can vouch for personally and assist you to place any order that I cannot handle myself. There is no charge for this because I hope you will always run future projects by me first."

FYI, "FreelanceWriter" is an invaluable asset to this website,

Well I have to admit that i contacted FreelanceWriter

Thank you.

LOL. Does it get tiring talking to yourself like that? Funny that while you expose others with multiple user names, because you can see their IPs (recent example BrokenStudent/kimlala), miraculously it never happens with shills' multiple personalities. Wonder why? Oh, wait.....right.

I hope you manage to find somebody soon.

Well, that was real SUBTLE.

Suggestion to the mods: just cut the crap and allow direct adverts, as they have been going on in here anyway. Also allow competition slandering, rants and craziness. This forum turned into a joke.

"Troubles in client department?" Perhaps we could help you with your use of the English language?

My clients are ESL students and they are very happy with my services. In fact they are so happy, that I do not need to poach clients on essayscam.org like you do. ESL students do not need overpriced and condescending services from the UK companies. You are going down, hence desperation we can all smell on you.

We have been seeing a sleuth of company reps pimping their websites on essaychat and essayscam. They flash their UK addresses, UK phones, UK registrations and whatnot. As someone who have worked for these companies and opted to be a freelance writer I can tell you one thing: NONE OF THIS MATTERS.

The only person who can deliver a good work is a writer. These sites employ slave labor from 3rd world countries and in general treat their writers like crap. Writers are unmotivated, abused, tired and only paid 30% of order's price, hence they deliver a sub-par product. The companies are fine with it because none of them is trying to get repeated customers.

Find a good writer and stick with him or her. Very simple. Do not help these leeches to gorge on poor writers.

This is a reliable service but there has been misunderstanding as we have our representatives from all over the world.

sure you do.

your writers are also "from all over the world". Does your UK address even matter?

The last time I checked, I'm pretty sure my name was renwa & I used Earn Great Results to assist me with my final assessment.

do you really think student are THAT stupid to buy into such idiotic and blatant ads? Give them a bit more credit, they are not brain dead.

there is no such thing as a "legit essay company". This business is dirty and companies make profit by using slave labor. It does not matter if a company is in the US, UK or Pakistan. Writers get 30 max 40%, the rest goes to the company. Writers and students should really rebel, stop feeding these leeches and work directly with each other.

This of course will leave "company reps" jobless, so I expect a s*h*i*t*s*t*o*r*m of replies. Bring it ON~

The legitimate companies pay writers AT LEAST $10 per page for basic orders with non-urgent deadlines.

wow, that is really GENEROUS, especially in light of the fact that the company charges students 30 USD per page. Thank you though for confirming my assessment about writers getting 30% of what the company charges. You are leeches, nothing else, blood sucking parasites. Writers should rebel and quit working for you. Get together, refer orders to each other and work directly with the clients.

Why? Because it creates ILLUSION of choice. Just like on this forum and essaychat, freelance writers that supposed to be independent, in reality are just few people working for the same company. For a student however it looks like this site is FULL of freelance writers. It also helps to maintain higher prices for services. Students are being played like there is no tomorrow and they have no clue.

i do academic writing for students of colleges and universities

You do now?

So you've made a lame wordpress site with some pearls like "Certificate of keen learner." ( by the way who issues these "certificates", lol) and you call yourself a freelance writer? Please get lost, you give us legit writers a bad name.

all my efforts bore fruit

yeping

there are plenty of freelance writers who are ESL, that is not the point. The point is this essay is an absolute abomination. I keep telling my clients that they need to find a REAL academic writer, either native or ESL depending on what they need. But this writer has to have education from the US or UK university or college. More often than not companies employ some random people who cannot write or create coherent product even if their life depends on it. This is why they give you all these free samples, these people work for pennies on a dollar because they have no skills or proper education.

Hello,

geezus, there is no need for yet another "essay"company, the market is saturated as is. Go to essaychat and watch dozens of writers waging wars over one measly client with 1000 words order.

You want a good input? Do something else or you'll regret it dearly..

1) People that can actually go to a physical location to drop work off and/or make payments (increases trust). This will set me apart from competitors.

lol

offer them massage too, it will definitely set you apart from competitors

So,yesterday a desperate student contacted me in a last-ditch effort to save his research paper. The paper was clearly written by a native speaker and had some decent language. HOWEVER, it was off by a mile when it comes to following requirement and actually adhering to the academic writing style and methods.

Listen up, students: you need someone who has an advanced degree (MA, MS, PhD) from US and UK universities. Could be even ESL (especially if you are ESL yourself). Native writers clueless about academic writing are worse than ESLs with degrees who might have small stylistic errors here and there.

However the majority of writers are:

1. Rural Kenyans
2. Native speakers with no degree whatsoever

Do your research and select your writer wisely.

The legit writers are cordial to each other, from what I've seen.

that was not the point. The point was that supply is greater than the demand.

"When the papers arrived, on schedule, two weeks later, he felt both astonishment and relief. "What we got back from the mills can best be described as gibberish," he wrote. "A few of the papers attempted to mimic APA style, but none achieved it without glaring errors. Citations were sloppy. Reference lists contained outdated and unknown sources, including blog posts."

College TeacherThe writing was awful, Ariely said. It looked as if some of the work had been outsourced to overseas providers not comfortable with the English language.

Ariely offered this sample paragraph:

"Cheating by healers. Healing is different. There is harmless healing, when healers-cheaters and wizards offer omens, lapels, damage to withdraw the husband-wife back and stuff. We read in the newspaper and just smile. But these days fewer people believe in wizards."

Morale:

1. Avoid companies because the majority is in business to make a quick buck and to employ slave labor from Kenya, Ukraine, and Pakistan.

2. Work with individual writers (MS/PhD from UK/US Universities) or reputable services only.

I feel obligated to take orders that request me specifically

to thank them for requesting me

please, stop your endless circlejerk, no one believes it anyway. No one requests you IRL. You haunt this forum like two old ghouls because you have no orders. Besides this forum is a joke anyway and students should read this if they want to know the truth about what is going on in here.

>"i hate all this rampant greed on here. 250 words isn't even a full page, so $3 is a fine rate and we regularly pay our writers less. in America we have something called the VALUE MENU. you don't like it, then get out and move to china or somewhere"

Hmmm...

Yet you, Verb and other local goons that frequent this dump aka "essayscam.org" charge 30+ USD per page. Your hypocrisy is unbelievable.

It is all sweet and peachy, but a company usually takes between 50% and 70% from each order, so you will have to work twice if not 3 times as much compared to finding your own clients. Working for a company means you will miss the opportunity to build your own reputation and get steady flow of clients. While the company could be good idea in a short term, ultimately it enslaves you, makes you work more and get paid less. Think about it, if you are a good writer instead of building your own reputation, you are building the reputation for a company that gets returning and satisfied customers.
