Hi everyone! Please let me interfere into your disputes and discussions with little comments and remarks. My name is Bethany Halfacre and I'm the Assistant Manager of HR Dept director at EssayWriters.net. We have been watching the development of these discussions and threads for quite a while now, making observations and necessary conclusions. Now I would very much like to comment on some of the problems that were mentioned here.
First of all, we do not tend to hide from the issues that may rise among our employees. We are more than glad to receive your feedback in any possible and acceptable means EssayWriters.net has. I see that some of you state that your e-mails and messages remain unanswered or are answered indefinitely. We always try to process your requests in timely manner, however you may also imagine, and how much time a request that needs investigation may take. Some of the problems you mention in particular orders require thorough investigation, involving people from different departments working by different schedules. In cases like that we do hope for your patience and understanding and try to process those as soon as possible.
As per your statements about us being fraudulent and not officially registered, I can confirm that claims are false. All of the statements that you may possibly have found online that state otherwise come from competitors that use a bit unfair ways to discredit us by blackmailing. We are fair to the writers, as they are really our main asset, but the cases of the company policy violation are punished in every company, as at EssayWriters.net. Before the start of your cooperation with us you are offered a lot of information about the company's standards and requirements from you. Some of you state that they didn't plagiarize. You are always welcome to ask the Quality Assurance Dept. to revoke the case and perform investigation. You will receive a detailed explanation of the decision with recommendations for future reference. We are not "hiding behind plagiarism", we just demand quality works submitted.
I know that there have been a lot of updates on salary methods lately, but they are all done for your convenience. The only thing that is required from you is to provide us with everything necessary in a timely manner. We are working with a lot of writers and processing systems that also have their own ways and principles, what requires us to be precise and attentive.
Some of the posts here belong to people that were fired from the company. As I have already stated above, we value our writers, but when the company rules are violated, there is no point of keeping an employee like that. Every single case of plagiarism, low quality and late submission puts reputation of the company under doubt and this we can't tolerate. I understand that this may not be pleasant to receive and accept and most of writers get very frustrated, but this is not only the policy of EssayWriters.net, but any successful company. Of course, as I have stated above, you have a right to revoke the decision if you think it was unfair.
To wind up my lengthy comment I'd like to kindly ask every writer that would like to have his or her question to be personally regarded and processed to send those to my personal e-mail bethhalf@gmail that will really help up assisting you and eliminating the main points where assistance is needed. You are always welcome to send your suggestions and complaints there, I'd be more than happy to receive your e-mails and work with you. For those, who would like to study more, please log to EssayWriters.net to follow the updated guides, they may give you more information on the burning topics you are discussing.
Thank you for your time and consideration. Will be waiting to hear from the interested.
Sincerely,
Bethany Halfacre

"Beth," that's the most bs I have ever seen in one place.
I've taken the time to read through this entire thread and I must admit my verdict is still out. One thing I noticed was the difference in sentence structure and quality of writing between those with complaints and those with praise. Those against the site seem to have less command of their skill where those with praise seem well articulated. Beth, I'm sorry to say this but you are the exception here but I suspect you don't claim to be a writer. Could the issues be poor quality of work?
Before I get blasted I should qualify my statement. I am aware that this is a casual forum and as such we let our guard down. A certain level of syntax is to be expected. That said, the core of our writing will always shine through no matter how poor the grammar. A couple of you leave me wondering just how good your finished product could be.
One writer here complained about not being paid in full. I've read the payment schedule and terms posted on the site. Was all the work SCHEDULED to be completed in the same payment cycle? Was it completed on time? Were revisions required? Did you follow all the requirements set forth by them? Did the client pay on time? I find it hard to believe they would pay you a portion and screw you on the rest. If they plan to screw you out of money why wouldn't they just keep it all?
I suspect were we to explore everybody's claims of non-payments we'd find reasonable explanations. By "reasonable" I don't mean letting them off the hook, I mean a valid non-fraudulent reason. I'm willing to bet the sluggishness to pay in a timely manner by Essay Writers could be attributed to poor management not malice. I could be wrong too. They could be a complete scam and the posters with complaints could be justified. At this point I have no opinion one way or the other.
The point is that a person should research both sides of an argument before formulating an opinion. More importantly, a person should be very careful to express ALL the facts when writing something that could be damaging to a company... there is a legal term for that and it could cost you a lot of money should Essay Writers decide to be vindictive.
I applied and was accepted to them. I'm going to write a couple of papers for them. I'm not new at this and I have proofing resources that most do not. I will keep you up on my dealings with Essay Writers and you can bet it will be fair and balanced.

Really? Please check my posts.
Greeting! I would like to thank the writers that have taken the time to send a note to me; the cases will be shortly resolved as promised.
I would also like to thank rat289 for a fair assessment of the situation. You are right; I have no experience in any sort of commercial or academic writing, I'm just a regular employee of EssayWriters.net. I registered at the forum to become closer to the problematic situations occurring in the process of writing and hasten the resolution of such issues.
Amy, I'm here not to offend anybody. Though I saw your comment right after my post, I still think that you are professional enough to avoid taboo language usage on a forum, opened to this many qualified writers for view.
I will always be around for those who have questions.
Best wishes,
Beth

Beth, I type again, "bulls-i*"--that's what you've delivered. I don't sugar-coat anything. You're not fooling anyone, and the sudden appearance of an EssayWriters.net supporter (rat289) strikes my as anything but a coincidence.
Better luck next time.
Really? Please check my posts.
I have and I stand by my initial comment.

My appearance here is the result of something you should've done before doing any work for them. I came across the site yesterday and applied to it. I received the "approval" email this morning. Having been around for a while I am a bit skeptical of this website and others like it. Unlike you, I wasn't hell-bent on churning out work and earning money. Unlike you, I researched the site first. Unlike you, I did the professional thing by doing my homework first and in doing so I landed on this site.
I read the entire thread and as I said in my previous posting I noticed that the writers who were slamming the site were doing so in a manner that suggested they weren't the best of writers which suggested quality of work could've been part of the problem. I'm beginning to see the problem as the research I'm doing, which you were too lazy to do, is turning up answers. I highly doubt you'd understand those answers and how to protect yourself. As a professional I do understand the picture that is slowly developing.
The best advice I could give you Army is to get a clue. Pull your head out of you're a$$ before you start slamming things you haven't taken the time to look into. I would also develop your skills as a writer a little more before you start tearing apart the work of others. Judging from your user name you should be able to understand this: On this subject you are talking way over your pay-grade.
Amy1978
you're a$$
LOL.
Case closed.
By the way, Rocky Dennis, as I have already explained to you, one does not "say" or "talk" about anything while communicating in a message board. One "types." Understand, my little student?
I've read somewhere that getting hung up on cognitive semantics is a sign of insecurity. You need people to believe you're smart, don't you Amy? Does it help you get through your day? Does it ease the pain of being an outcast when you were growing up? Ok then. We'll allow you to ring us up on a technicality... anything to make you feel better.
For the record though I'd like to point out your hang up is a classic example of what I mean by "common language"
Message:
Boy! Am I glad I found this web site before I did something stupid. I, like many others, signed up on this site, thinking it to be trustworthy and honest; however, I hesitated to select a writing assignment because there was nothing in the sites information, rules and guidelines, about protecting the writer's copywrit should their work be rejected and unacceptable. And while I was reading what it said about the work being returned because it had been refused by the individual requesting it for various reasons, I go this strange feeling (you know, when your "inner voice" is trying to tell you something and is usually right), that it would be an excellent way for them to make money on the writers work and NOT HAVE TO PAY THEM. HOW? BY RETURNING THE MATERIAL UNDER FALSE PRETENSES, WHEN IN FACT, THE INDIVIDUAL REQUESTING THE WORK WAS PLEASED WITH IT AND HAD INDEED ACCEPTED IT! And even if the writer learned of this deception, his/her hands would be tied to do anything....since he/her had no proof they had written the article.
I learned a long time ago, that what a writer can do to protect his/her writings, without having to go through the channels of getting a copywrit, is to date and mail a copy of your written material to yourself SPECIAL DELIVERY....and never open it....unless of course you see your stolen material in print and under someone else's name.
Well, after reading Roger's comments as well as all the others, this is one writer on that site that won't be "hoodwinked" by these Scam artists! I really feel sorry for those who are placing so much hope with these frauds! Let us pray their eyes will be opened sooner than later!

Welcome. You may want to consult a lawyer because what you described is a myth. The courts have struck down such defenses.
As for the site you signed up for...
I signed up for it too and I've been doing some looking into things. One one level they are on the up and up but on other levels not so much up. If you read the rules carefuly and follow them you will get paid for your work. I'm new on this site but in my last post on another thread about this site I explain the workings a little better... just ignore my banter with Amy... she's picking on me!

I've read somewhere that getting hung up on cognitive semantics is a sign of insecurity.
LOL! You're the one who started it, neanderthal! Would you like me to quote your FIRST POST--before I typed a single word to you--which contains nothing but so-called "corrections" of semantic minutia in my posts? Sorry, Jethro, but your Freudisms apply to YOU, not me. Take a look at that hypocrite in the mirror.
I didn't start it... I'm perfect. I'm so perfect that perfect people walk up to me and scream "God, you're perfect"!
Checked the mirror... it broke! Sigh!
By the way my name isn't Jethro... not sure if you knew that... just gettin you in the loop and all...
I guess people here have nothing better to do than bicker about inconsequential things and pretend they know everything. I went to this site in the hopes that I would be enlightened in essay writing services issues. But I guess I was wrong.

Don't let the door hit you on the way out!
i just got paid by essaywriters.. for now, my statement is that "they do pay," unless im proven otherwise..
good for you lex. they paid me the last payment due but it seems i need to wait for the next payment period to get my earnings due now. it's just under a hundred but why do i have to wait?????
It's a bulls-i* excuse. There's no such thing as a "transfer limit." The transfer companies make more money the more money gets transferred!
it's a fact, there is a transfer limit for xoom.com transactions.. xoom.com can only send up to $3000 dollars worth of money transactions within a time frame of one month.. once a certain company has reached this limit, it is barred from sending money to a recipient until the next month.. i got this info by inquiring from xoom customer service because essaywriters had some difficulty transfering my payment to the bank where i am supposed to pick up the deposited money..
amy1978, can you check
t's a fact, there is a transfer limit for xoom.com transactions.. xoom.com can only send up to $3000 dollars worth of money transactions within a time frame of one month
amy, can you check this out? how true?
in my case, the money transfer was initiated but
canceled. so now i have to wait two more weeks for my money.
amy, can you check this out? how true?
I think it could be true (same for Western union or similar transactions). This is to avoid money laundering. But, on the other hand, registered businesses shouldn't have such low limits.
i checked out the xoom.com limits myself:
"Your initial transaction limit is $1,000 per 24 hours period, and $3,000 per 30 day period. Based on your transaction history with Xoom, your limits may be raised in the future" (bold mine)."
i'm just wondering how essaywriters.net, given its transaction volume of so many writers, not at all be able to increase its sending limits. simply not possible. the way i see it, it's either they are using the normal $3,000/mo. limit written in the xoom website as an excuse to delay or they've had a bad history, perhaps of delayed bank clearance.

i think they are not using it as a bad excuse, it's a legitimate excuse.. an alternative to xoom.com is to let the company send your earnings to your e-gold account, it's faster and easier..
maybe amy1978 will take me as an employee of essaywriters.. no amy :) i have my reservations first about the them paying the my earnings, especially when i learned that someone in this forum wasn't paid because his earnings reached $1200.. i was paid for 3 consecutive payment periods, and had difficulty receiving it when the 4th period came.. however, part of the blame can be attributed to myself because i contented that xoom.com is enough to process the earnings, the company keeps on telling me to open up a bank account or e-gold account.. i did not comply immediately, that's why my latest earnings were delayed for 3 months.. i was paid $800 yesterday through my e-gold account..

I draw your attention to the "based on your transaction history... your limits may be raised..."
Uh, has anyone considered for a second that perhaps they did get their limit raised and that level has been reached from time to time?
the company keeps on telling me to open up a bank account or e-gold account.. i did not comply immediately, that's why my latest earnings were delayed for 3 months.. i was paid $800 yesterday through my e-gold account..
really? you were paid through e-gold? funny but the last time they raised this xoom limits argument, which was some 4 payment periods ago, i kept insisting that they transfer payment through my e-gold account . however, they simply wouldn't or couldn't. support told me that e-gold was not set up for the accountant or something. note that e-gold has been in their payment mode options list ever since i began working for them. what happened then was that i had to wait for two weeks before getting paid--two payment period earnings in one transfer. actually, e-gold is currently my alternative payment mode but they simply can't use it somehow.
the e-gold mode of earnings payment was reflectected in my payment details about a month ago.. i dont know about you, but i hope they will keep on meeting their obligation to me, otherwise i'll stop writing for them.. they still owe me about 1oo for next payment period.. i'll wait and see..
there is a transfer limit for xoom.com transactions
Verified this and it's true. Switched to a different payment mode now. Hope the coming payments come on a more regular basis.
the e-gold mode of earnings payment was reflectected in my payment details about a month ago.. i dont know about you....
[Support] [Writer] March 18 23:33 Dear xxxxxxx,
The payment ssystem for e-gold is not set up for an accountant yet. Please give us your PayPal or Wire Transfer details.
best regards,
Lisa
[Support] [Writer] March 20 19:20 Dear xxxxx,
Our accountant is currently working on setting up this payment option. Meanwhile you can choose from one of the mentioned above:
-Wire Transfer
-PayPal
Regards,
Helen Mann
what do you think this means lex? essaywriters.net lied to me? or are they playing favorites? i don't suppose they can have e-gold set up for some and not for all.
Dear Writers!
Here is a little update in regards to the two payment options mentioned by you here.
XOOM.com has indeed raised our limits a bit, as we are using it on regular basis, but as the number of writers with XOOM.com availability is growing, salary processing is being delayed because of the limit set. If you have a possibility to obtain the details for other payment options please submit them to your profiles, set them as primary and turn to the Support Representatives in Common Message Session under the Salary/Payment issue category for them to be verified and the wages processed.
E-gold was indeed not yet established in March as per the messages exposed here due to insignificant amount of writers applying for this particular method. Once we have obtained e-gold account information from over 30 writers, the account has been set up and is now successfully operating, so please feel free to submit the e-gold details to the company in your profile.
My advice to essayer would be to make sure that this payment type is set as primary and contact support to make sure they are verified.
Best wishes,
Beth

i dont know about you, but i just recently registered with e-gold after hesitating to use this payment option.. maybe they are playing favorites or otherwise.. i dont know.. just try to communicate with them through their messaging system.. it pays to be patient..
make sure that this payment type is set as primary and contact support to make sure they are verified.
they were the ones who set this mode of payment to primary..
E-gold was indeed not yet established in March as per the messages exposed here....
[quote=lex, Post #69 ] the e-gold mode of earnings payment was reflectected in my payment details about a month ago.. i dont know about you, but....
sorry but i don't know where you are getting your stories lex but your details run counter to clarifications made by beth of essaywriters.net.
they were the ones who set this mode of payment to primary..
one more thing, i've worked for essaywriters for several months and i know they'll
never touch your profile. they would instruct writers to go change the payment mode in their respective profiles as needed but essaywriters would
not do it for them. for them to change your profile even with your consent would be highly irregular and unethical. even essaywriters, which has been accused of fraud, would
not commit such irregularity.
sorry but i don't know where you are getting your stories lex but your details run counter to clarifications made by beth of essaywriters.net.
i'm not making any stories.. what could be a fact to you may be different to my perception.. anyway, im not proving something here but simply relating my experience with the company to this forum..
for them to change your profile even with your consent would be highly irregular and unethical
how could that be unethical and irregular if they do it with MY CONSENT?
lex, access to your profile, which contains your bank account/other payment mode details, is something like access to your e-mail--restricted only to you. unless of course you're unable to access it yourself for severe technical reasons and thereby ask support for assistance as a last resort.
unless of course you're unable to access it yourself for severe technical reasons
there, you have it.. they have access to my profile.. the same goes with financial institutions like banks.. a problem manifests itself when they divulge this information to third person.. sige po!
i think it's a given that what i meant is access to altering your profile. of course essaywriters.net know your profile because they need it and they have it in their databank. the point i have been making is that it's an unwritten principle that websites owners generally don't touch member profiles.
my experience tell me essaywriters gives writers instructions on how to change their payment modes by going to their profiles. why would the company change your profile for you when you can do it yourself? also, how come you claim e-gold payments beginning last month when beth of essaywriters herself said the e-gold was not yet set up by march? opposing statements for the last point, so who's telling the truth?
websites owners generally don't touch member profiles.
i did not complain when they did make my e-gold account as the primary mode of earnings transfer.. let's just say it was done with my consent..
why would the company change your profile for you when you can do it yourself? also, how come you claim e-gold payments beginning last month when beth of essaywriters herself said the e-gold was not yet set up by march? opposing statements for the last point, so who's telling the truth?
mmm are you arguing that i'm a liar? well, that's your prerogative sir.. what would i gain or lose if you wont believe me? nothing.. what i'm just telling is that i was paid.. period.. ciao..
I am a writer with a bachelor's degree, and I will be getting my Master's degree in literature in May 2007. I have excellent writing skills, and I have never submitted work that wasn't researched and written by me. I provided excellent services for essaywriters.net, and in many cases qualified for a "bonus" because the clients thought so highly of the quality of work I submitted. Still, I am among those having difficulty getting paid for my work. I was supposed to be paid $88 by ACH on April 1st-3rd. I got all the usual excuses like my needing to be owed $200 before they could send it, then they tried twice but it wouldn't "go through". I was later told that if I wanted the money on a paypal account (which I don't have) I could have it right away, but if I insisted upon ACH I would have to wait until the April 15th-17th pay period. A representative name Margie said I would receive the two pay periods combined, and promised it would never happen again. On April 16th, I did receive the $88, but not the balance of $334 now due. Yeserday I was told it would be here today, and today I was told that it would be here tomorrow. I had to cut back my hours at work so that I could concentrate on my last semester of school, and finishing my thesis. I took the job with essaywriters because I wanted to save money for a vacation in August to reward myself for getting my MA, and to thank my hubby for being so supportive during the process. We are in no dire straights, but the money is MINE, and I deserve to be paid in a timely manner. I did the work, and should be fairly compensated. Anyone who thinks I am asking to much can feel free to work for free, but I didn't agree to write all those essay for nothing, and I think it is very reasonable to expect to get paid.

i know that the ones who run essaywriters.net are reading this.. i share QWS' sentiments.. we, as writers, did our part by writing good papers for you; you are benefited by our hardwork.. the only thing that we are asking is that you should do your obligation in a timely, efficient, and professional manner..
mmm are you arguing that i'm a liar? well, that's your prerogative sir.. what would i gain or lose if you wont believe me? nothing.. what i'm just telling is that i was paid.. period.. ciao..
it's crystal clear that proving you've been paid has been your heartfelt thesis all throughout your postings here.
i'm not refusing to believe you per se. it a matter of incredibility plain and simple. your embellishments don't matter because based on essaywriters.net's recent 'official' statements here courtesy of beth, your e-gold couldn't have been set up and you couldn't have been paid through said system last march because:
E-gold was indeed not yet established in March as per the messages exposed here due to insignificant amount of writers applying for this particular method.
now, i expect you to insist on your story and tell the viewers here that it's a matter of truth perception or some other relativity theory. forum viewers here aren't stupid. yours and beth's "facts" don't tally so someone must be telling tales. i'm not saying you are a liar lex, but between you and beth of essaywriters.net, someone is.
it's crystal clear that proving you've been paid has been your heartfelt thesis all throughout your postings here.
hehe.. from what i have read earlier, you've been trying to prove me wrong.. naturally, i'll say the truth ey.. yes, i'll say the truth, what is there for me to gain from lying?
from your statements, i can say also that your heartfelt thesis since you started to reply to my posts is in proving me wrong.. i got paid, that's all.. if you keep on insisting in proving me wrong, again that's your prerogative sir..
i got paid, that's all.. if you keep on insisting in proving me wrong, again that's your prerogative sir..
i don't need to insist that you're wrong. yours and beth's (essaywriters.net) conflicting statements tell me one of you is direly wrong or untruthful.
i insist on getting the truth. how were you paid? e-gold? very well, then essaywriters.net lied to me! they told me earlier through the messaging system and through this forum that:
Quoting: Beth, Post #72
E-gold was indeed not yet established in March as per the messages exposed here due to insignificant amount of writers applying for this particular method.
if i were to believe your postings, then i have to conclude that essaywriters.net simply wanted to delay transferring payment to me.
We are in no dire straights, but the money is MINE, and I deserve to be paid in a timely manner. I did the work, and should be fairly compensated.
i completely agree with you qws. they kept telling writers that wire transfer is a good alternative to paypal.
i certainly hope you get paid soon. in my case, i have to wait till the next payment period because the under-$100 balance i have with them is not worth the e-gold transfer which they say is operational now.
