I was wondering if you know whether it's a legal requirement to have the postal address on the website?

Yes - in the UK we are obliged to publish our registration number, registered address and all relevant contact info ... not sure about the US.

Returning to the UK's requirements, it seems that more and more company websites are ignoring this requirement. Only to be expected, considering that the Companies House, in all its wisdom, has allowed all and sundry to simply log on and register a UK company online. What do they care if the `directors,' owners or company officers have absolutely no ties at all to the UK and are totally beyond the reach of the law? So ... some have to apply the law or get taken to the cleaners while others get to call themselves `British' companies without having to satisfy any of the associate legal obligations. Really fair, right?

Companies House, in all its wisdom, has allowed all and sundry to simply log on and register a UK company online.

Right. That is, as you say in the UK, "bollocks." Legitimate companies in the US make no attempts to set-up .co.uk domains or "UK" companies unless they have a physical stake in the UK and/or plan to pay taxes in the UK. The same problem with foreign fraudsters exists in the US (see "Universal Research Inc / LLC").

These geniuses don't do a very good job of covering their tracks. What is so very humorous is that they clearly have no idea how absolutely useless those efforts are, considering the private tools to which I have access.

No, but I have stopped thinking about it. I've realised how foolish I was, in every aspect of my behaviour, and as WB requested I have (quite rightly) refrained from investigating further. I would like to take this opportunity to apologise to anyone who might have been offended, upset, or misled by my questions and my comments. I was in the wrong and I see that now.

I would particularly like to apologise to WB for attempting to involve him / her; to ********* for any distress I may have caused them; and to the owners of Essayscam for (I suspect) breaking the terms and conditions of their fine site. In fact, sites like this are vital in the battle against the criminals - as seen by the threads concerning fly-by-night operations in Africa, Ukraine, Pakistan... the list sometimes seems endless! And of course there are some on our own doorstep, in both the US and the UK, who should be exposed for what they are, and I believe this site is one of the most valuable in that regard.

Now if you'll excuse me...

Hi Everyone,

I haven't posted here before, but found some rather uncomplimentary stuff about this company being discussed after looking at the site records.

@OxbridgeResearchers -- if you think the name 'Essay Ninja' is 'idiotic,' that's fine -- everyone's entitled to their own opinion. [Besides, "Oxbridge Researchers" was already taken ;-)] Regardless, I kind of resent your implication that the name 'dishonours' an (ahem) 'honourable industry.' Unless of course you were joking, in which case... ha ha.

@everyone else -- We are a small business in Toronto, and we try very hard to provide excellent work for our clients. There are testimonials and sample essays on the website.

...and we could always use more writers.

Peace out,

Mod, please remove EW_writer's previous post for the following reasons:

1. I originally posted the image to highlight EW_writer's baseless, ongoing lie about me in Post #210.

2. He stole the image from me.

3. Over the years, I have unequivocally proven that I am not a liar, and I think that all of the widely-respected members of this forum would agree. EW_writer has failed, for YEARS, to prove his false accusations that I have ever lied about anything.

How was the previous post spam?

Nope, I don't think that the quoted post below is spam.

And that's just from less than a week ago.

Geez, EW_writer, why do you insist on making me educate you repeatedly?

Hate to burst your proverbial bubble (not :p) but your "forum spam" still does not fit essay ninja's post. Essay ninja was responding to remarks made against his/her site and responded only once to said remarks (which by common sense is against the very idea of "spam"). If we consider the post spam, then we should consider any post that attempts to clarify a company's location as spam. Had enough?

Why don't you quote my "lie" instead of posting more of your own lies? Here's one of your quotes in which you try to justify your LIES by referring to them as "mistakes" after I busted you:

Then the above post was a mistake.

1. OR already proved you wrong, and confirmed that it is SPAM.

2. It's funny how you conveniently ignore the most crucial aspect of the post, which is the OFFER OF EMPLOYMENT!

Nope, she did not. My points on why the post is not spam still stand:

essay ninja was responding to remarks made against his/her site and responded only once to said remarks (which by common sense is against the very idea of "spam"). The offer of employment wasn't even directly stated and in my opinion was not the intention of the post.

Why don't you quote my "lie" instead of posting more of your own lies?

Gee, no answer. I'm so surprised. LIAR.

The offer of employment wasn't even directly stated and in my opinion was not the intention of the post.

Well, your "opinion" is asinine. OR and I flatly disagree. There are five (5) components of SPAM (unsolicited information meant to increase traffic/business) in the original post:

1. purported location;

2. purported "excellent" quality;

3. purported "testimonials" from third parties to bolster the claim of excellence;

4. samples to entice purchase;

5. employment offer extended to freelancers in order to further the business for profit.

Plus, take a peak at the username of "EssayNinja"-it's the precise domain name, which is also a popular tactic of forum spammers.

The fact that you fell for the ruse speaks volumes about your ignorance and gullibility.

You lose.

Peace out,

I have to admit that I am so damn happy that EssayNinja is now represented here at last! If only EssayWarrior and EssayNinja would fight each other. This could be a battle to end all battles in the stupid essay name war! All jokes aside, essays are cool and ninjas are awesome but mixed together as a legitimate business name it falls short of the goal.

I could die a happy man if their web copy looked like this:

* We have a team of over 100 experienced NINJAS with degrees
* You can choose the NINJA you liked to complete all of your essays
* Our NINJAS will meet any possible deadline
* If you get a bad grade a NINJA will attack your Professor

@OxbridgeResearchers -- if you think the name 'Essay Ninja' is 'idiotic,' that's fine -- everyone's entitled to their own opinion. [Besides, "Oxbridge Researchers" was already taken ;-)]

First of all, thank you for the tone of your posts - you were very gracious in face of criticism.
Secondly, I still think that the name, EssayNinja, is just absolutely silly and I want to explain why. Here goes:
1) Meaningless;
2) Communicates an image of aggression and violence as opposed to the soothing one which we, in the industry, try to communicate to nervous students;
3) Does not give the impression of educated, civilised and cultured writers/researchers but that of masked ninjas flying through the air, kicking people in the teeth and breaking a few ribs and bones, here and there;

4) Within the context of this industry and the service which we offer, it is irrelevant and defies logic.
The reason why any of this is, at all, relevant is simple: our profession is the `word' - we are writers. What we say is supposed to communicate meaning or, at least, make a semblance of sense. When we, or any in this industry, fail in the simplest task of all (appropriate and meaningful word choice), what does that say about us or about our understanding of the meaning and power of words/language?

Would you not think it rather silly were I, or any other, to name our sites:
SamuraiEssays
WWFessays
WWEssays
WrestlerEssays
KarateEssays
SenseiEssays
BoxerEssays
KickBoxingEssays
MartialArtsEssays
BashMyFaceInEssays
Etc etc?
NinjaEssays is no different from any of the above names.
With regards to your first post and whether or not it is `spam' - I stand by my earlier assessment. Yes, I realise that there are varying opinions here and appreciate that the other side has made valid points. However, the latter part of your post was promotional in intent. You directed readers to your site and asked that we read the testimonials, etc etc. If you did not intend that, I apologise for misinterpreting your intentions but can only judge on the basis of the message ultimately communicated (and not the underlying purpose).

Regarding my handle (because you mentioned it), I want to explain something. Not a single one of my websites (relevant to this industry) has `oxbridge' or `researchers' in it - let alone both :)
