I have every reason to believe that this guy has fooled countless Indian students because a vast number of students from India go to US and UK to study. This guy has cunningly set up these scamming companies. The students, however, might take him as someone from the same country and so more trustworthy. However, it's the other way around. How shameful!

The second part of the web address "Guru" in a Hindi word. This word has also been borrowed in other languages. It means "expert", "mentor", "teacher", and the like. It is a lose term used frequently in informal talk to imply all of these meanings and even some more (institutionalized forms). Hope it helps.

If they're scamming the world under the shelter of EBay, then you should not just sit and mourn. It'd be better you inform EBay of your experience and do the same on review sites, web portals, blogs, and anywhere else. This way, you can save others form being scammed by them.
