With the new year fast approaching, the time has once again come to award the sites who have made the greatest and most unintentionally humorous effort to defraud students. If you are unfamiliar with these awards, they have been named in honor of past forum member Writer's Beware who made tireless efforts to expose many of these scams before she was mysteriously and, perhaps appropriately, banned from this very forum.

The award`s selection criteria is not limited to major sites, but also includes small-scale sites that have truly extended the boundaries of unethical and ridiculous business practices. As these awards are contingent on the input of forum members, it is necessary we receive nominations up until the new year. I'm hoping forum members will each post 2-3 of their own nominations.
My personal nominations for the year are:
1.
'Essaywriters.org' -- This Eastern European located essay site claims to be located in Edinburgh Scotland. In addition to farming out a considerable amount of labor to ESL writers, the page's very first line of text is riddled with grammatical errors "
Nowadays extra busy schedule can drive crazy even the most hard-bitten and sciential student."
2.
'essaysaviors.wordpress.com' -- Not to leave out the efforts made by small business owners, my second nomination is the recently constructed Essaysaviors site. Although run by a native speaker, this site offers the criminally low rate of $10 per page, and claims to be looking for new writers; $5 per page anyone?
3.
'bestessays.com' -- Dubious claims about writer's credentials. Located in Ukraine, not the UK as they claim. Multiple spam pages to attract gullible students.
Curious about a sample? How about this gem, "
I do not know what color death is. For some reason, I associate it with black, but that`s the color of sleep, and sleep is good. I don`t think we disappear into infinite blackness upon death, nor do I believe oblivion to be black. Maybe it`s not even white." Indeed, Essaysavors, indeed.
