The companies that you have mentioned are well known for not having the best refund policies or communication channels. They prefer that you do not contact them again if the paper has problems because the revision promises were justifiedjust a bait to get the business. It is important that students learn how to do proper research on the companies before hiring them. That is why EssayScam, which is not affiliated with any writing company, exists to help the students learn about the good business practices of a company before hiring them.

If you do a thorough background check on the company before placing your order, then you will avoid the pitfalls of working with scammers. A Google search will always return a review from EssayScam among its list of reviews, so you will end up with proper guidance if you use a search engine to confirm the company. If you use EssayScam directly to do a search on information about the company, then you will get the most reliable information possible. That is because you will receive several discussion thread references that will prove to be helpful to you. Do not think that a company that appears as Sponsored on Google is immediately reliable. You should steer clear of those companies because they are paying for ad space and Google does not care about anything beyond their payment clearing.

There were instances in the past, when academic writing was still solely human based, that there were fraudulent companies in existence. I will admit that much. I will not admit that the writers that work for these companies were also frauds. Not all of the writers that work for these companies are in on the trickery. Most of them are tricked by the company as well when it comes to their payouts and other experiences. I do not appreciate that the OP collectively called those writers frauds as well. You never know what they actually know, and do not know about the company they are working for.

Please, do not approach these writing companies thinking that they actually have UK based and educated writers in their roster. Nothing could be further from the truth. However, you may come across independent writers who are actually UK educated, specially in the area of law, who dabble in academic writing. Do not use AI to write a UK law inclined paper. AI cannot tell the difference between the UK and other country laws at this point. You may end up with an unusable essay in the process.

I see that the domain name has changed ownership since the last time that I heard about this company. It was originally a useful information source for students looking to write their papers. It has stopped doing that since. Whoever bought the new name changed the slant of the business the name was originally associated with. I am saddened by this piece of news. Students, please take note of this information for your own protection.

It is never a good idea to trust the reviews of these commerce based recommendation sites. They usually own the url names that they are listing and use the "reviews" as a cover for their self promotion. It is always best to come to open forums such as EssayScam, where you can trust that you will receive genuine information from seasoned company based and independent writers, as well as students who could have been burned by the very domain names promoted by these websites. Thank you for letting the students that visit this site know about the shadiness of these 2 websites. This information will come in very handy for them.

I would say, be careful of writers who approach you first at this forum. Some of them do not actively post here and lurk so that they can contact unsuspecting students who then trust them because they were found at this forum. Always be the one to reach out to a writer via PM at this forum. Ignore any and all writers that send you solicitation emails or messages. Those are usually the problem participants at this forum.

My first question was actually, why did the OP decide to cancel his order? That is the same inquiry that the company would make once he called asking for a refund. Just like any other business, these companies have refund rules to follow. If his reason for canceling the order did not fall within their acceptable guidelines, then they would definitely not refund his paper and use some excuse to explain it to him.

The hierarchy system that exists in the writing companies is something that is based more on repeat clients for a single writer more than anything else. Second to that is the willingness of the writer to work on more papers and his availability to complete short term papers. These are the main criteria that is used to score the writers in the companies that still exist. Rising in the ranks proves to be more difficult these days since there are fewer students hiring writers at the companies than there used to be.

While working for a non - American company does not make you a crook, you become one if you assist in the bad actions of the writing company or, do not fulfill your duties and responsibilities as promised to the client. That said, this business requires writers to help students with their academic papers, regardless of their location in the world. If you can write in a language other than English, then you will have a better shot at gaining a larger student client base. Treat the clients well and provide what they did. Do not assist in stealing from them so that you avoid becoming a crook in cahoots with the company.

I agree with Cite in this case. However, I would like to take the social media advertising a step further to include TikTok and Twitch self promotion videos. That way you cover all the free advertising and cheap boosting services for your skills or company. In fact, you do not need a company to sell yourself anymore. Just use a consistent identity across all media platforms. How you use the platforms to self promote is all up to you.

Essay Services / Essay Pro Scammed Me [5]

Thank you very much for sharing your experience. This will be an eye opener for the students who might have come across Essay Pro in their searches and are considering hiring their services. Would it be possible for you to provide more detail regarding your situation? What sort of paper did you pay for? What was the turn around time? How did you pay them? Have you filed a chargeback? What was the reason that was claimed for non delivery? The more information you can provide in relation to your experience, the more forewarned the students will be when it comes to considering their services.

Since academic writing services have been folding left and right, only a handful remain and continue to struggle against the rise of AI. We can assume that the writing services that folded are the illegitimate writing companies that were in the business to play the con game. We have AI to thank for exposing the inauthentic services. It appears that the independent writers are the ones that seem to have a good hold on their clients and somehow still manage to grow their client base in the age if academic AI.

It is important that the students understand the importance of hiring a human writer from the country where he is actually studying. Each education system has its own eccentricities or original requirements that only a writer from that country, who was educated in that country, can understand and provide. That writer will be able to develop a format and information compliant paper. Using a writer based in a foreign country is a risk because, while he may be familiar with the writing requirements of that country, he is bound to slip up in the writing of the paper because his lack of familiarity with other aspects of the way papers are written in that country or how certain paragraphs or sentences are written, will show up in the final presentation.

It is often difficult to prove the legitimacy of a writing service. That is why this forum exists. There used to be more frauds than legitimate companies. That equation recently changed due to the advent of AI academic apps. While there are still academic writing companies that exist, these have been diversifying their client base from students and academic writing to other writing needs that AI has not broken into yet. What I can definitely say is that it is easier to prove the legitimacy of an independent writer instead who specializes in several writing services as opposed to proving the legitimacy of a writing company.

Students have not been taught well in schools these days when it comes to developing their research and opinion papers. I have seen papers that use cut and paste excerpts from other people's work that they do not deserve a passing grade. There are some that start citing at the very start of the essay then defend it by saying that is the whole premise of their paper. Others say that they are contradicting a cited opinion. None of the way students write their papers, without the help of AI or a ghost writer, makes sense these days. So worrying about how much plagiarism turnitin might find is laughable at this point.

Regardless of how the plagiarism percentage is discovered, any student who sees even a small degree of plagiarism in his paper should rewrite the questionable sections. You do not necessarily have to rewrite the whole document since there are certain parameters that comprise a plagiarized work. You cannot plagiarized your own writing. In any case, always keep the plagiarism reports from Turnitin so that you can prove that there was no plagiarism in your work. A justified explanation will always allow you submit your revised paper without a problem or accusations of plagiarism.

I believe that AI has removed the risk of students getting caught using model essays. They no longer need to pay for sample essays since Ai can generate an overview paper for them already. The businesses that used to sell model essays are nowhere to be found anymore online. We can say that Ai successfully killed that writing model for students. In fact, this generation of students will not even be familiar with the purchasing model essays process that the previous generations used. These days, AI can be used to create model essays, but, as with all things related to academic integrity, these should not be used as anything more than a writing guide. It should not be submitted for a grade.

Well, the companies listed are not all active anymore either. Just like all writing companies, the ones who advertised aggressively here were also affected by the rise of AI as a writing app for students. Were the companies that used to advertise here scams? We have no way of knowing anymore. Once the company is out of business, the forum has no way of tracking its history anymore. Therefore, I will assume that the companies that are still actively listed in this forum as legitimate businesses. They would have left the business already if they were not legitimate.

Essay Services / What about assignmenthelp.net? [58]

I tend to lose faith in companies that use comic book character names for their agents. I refuse to deal with Peter Parker and his AI generated profile. I also do not believe that I can expect quality work from a company that claims to help with assignments for freee. That is just click bait to get you to place an order with them. Do not deal with this company. A quick review of their UI and offerings raise enough red flags to tell you that they will be more of a problem once you deal with them than they will be of help to you.

While bitcoin continues to remain popular in some third world countries, it has become problematic to use by legitimate users because of its tendency to be used in money laundering. The people that used to believe in crypto currency have lost big time and been burned so badly that they do not have any hope of recovering their investments in that field. So no, it was never adopted as a currency by freelance writers then and now. Not even companies and businesses accept this as an official currency when transacting locally or internationally.

It is imperative that students be weary of any website that they will be inputting their private and financial information into. They must properly investigate the credentials of the company by looking up reviews about it and gaining insights into how the companies work before hiring the service of the said company. Remember that even an AI app can be programmed to steal your information without your knowledge. The more reliant we are on technology, the more careful we must be about protecting our personal data. These breaches occur and are sometimes kept out of the news to stop people from panicking about how easy it is to gain access to personal information with just a simple click.

General Talk / If i were a student... [25]

If I were a student these days, I would not buy into the AI is the answer to all your academic needs crap being peddled by the app creators. AI is only useful as a starting point, but is not reliable as a credible source of information. You still need to double check the information sources and make sure that you proper cite these in your paper. In other words, it churns out somewhat usable crap. It is up to the student to learn how to utilized Ai in a beneficial manner.

This is a currently expired domain name. The rights to the name have reverted to GoDaddy.com and everyone is welcome to inquire about acquiring the domain. So discussing their shortcomings as a company is moot at this point. The potential buyer just needs to be informed of the background of the domain name and that it had a negative reputation in the academic writing industry. So it may not be a good fit for a company that will be using it for an academic business which may or may not be related to the writing field.

The one thing good that came out of the Covid-19 pandemic and the rise of academic AI writing is that the scam companies faded away. They died because they could not keep up with the need for money that their scams required. As such, they were unable to keep their businesses open. After the pandemic, the scam companies that survived still managed to stay in the game. Ai was the one that eventually stopped them from scamming students. Since the students could get AI to write (bad) academic essays for them, they no longer felt the need to look for writing companies. Some students these days, who still prefer human writers, stick to direct hiring of independent writers instead. There are still a few scam companies out there but I trust that those will be gone by the end of this decade.

While advertising at this forum has recently fallen silent for one reason or another, that is not to say that the company no longer accepts advertising in various forms. The FEATURED writer option is still available and works in terms of self promotion as there are still students who come to this forum when considering their writing options. There is also EssayChat and EssayDirectory where those who wish to start out in this business, even in the uncertain climate, can pay to be listed for the consideration of the students. While the trend is moving towards AI writing, there are still students who prefer the human touch when writing and these paid sections of this forum are usually the best place to find the legitimate writers in the business.

Well, students these days prefer to use an AI writer to complete their papers. That most definitely ensures that the student is not scammed but, does not assure the student that he will get a quality paper worthy of submission and grading. That will just assure him of meeting compliance requirements for his class. So, how does he hire a human writer and avoid getting scammed? It is all in the way that you assess the company and the writers that they have. When directly hiring the writer, ask for writing samples in related subjects and look up his username online. There are ways of verifying that the writer you plan to deal with is not a con artist. If he uses the same username across various platforms, then that person is more than likely to be on the level with his business dealings.

Majority of the websites listed here are proven scams and have actually been driven out of business by academic AI writing apps. So the question of how to choose a good writing company seems moot at this point. However, in response to the original post, it will always be important to consider the track record of the companies you are considering for us. Refer to the Do Not Discuss thread at this forum for further enlightenment. If you see the company listed there, then do not consider using them, even if you believe that that the company might be worth talking to. There is a reason they decided that they do not want students and writers discussing them at this forum. They are more likely frauds. Choose an independent writer instead. They are usually more trustworthy and easier to negotiate with in these cases.

There was a time early this year when writing companies and individual writers were spending a premium on advertising through social media sites. The high priced and demographic aimed advertising was their way of trying to stave off the threat that AI was bringing on at the time. They were doing their best to keep students in the human writer field but, things just did not work out as expected. AI seems to have won that battle. I still refuse to believe that Ai has won the war because AI is still reliant on humans to make it work properly. For everything the Ai can accomplish as a writer, there is a human writer behind that algorithm.

I would not spend a premium on advertising my services these days, if I were still an active writer. Instead, I would invest more in a word of mouth campaign to get students back to using human beings as their writer of choice. Let's face it, the only reason AI got better at writing is because humans began training it to do so.

There was a time when students still worried about the repercussions of plagiarism. However, the more reliant they have become on Ai for writing, the more complacent they have become with regards to plagiarism in their written work. They have the misconception that Ai writing is flawless and error free, which cannot be further from the truth. Therefore, it is important that students today learn these consequences when the work that is created for them is plagiarized. This is why they need to continue to hire human writers to help them with their academic papers. It is only the human writer that is trained enough to avoid plagiarism when writing in any given format.

While there are several independent writers that could actually help you out with individual assessment and feedbacks, there is only 1 company that I know of that uses humans to provide an assessment and feedback for the work of students and professionals. The company can be found online but unfortunately, I am not allowed to mention the name of the company here because it will be a violation of forum policies. AI should not be trusted to provide such types of feedback because it lacks the human insight and emotions that are required when reviewing these sorts of papers and documents.

The company seems to be legit. It does not focus on academic writing alone. It provides various types of writing services for people of various work and learning experiences. The rates seem to be fair and the work seems ample enough for them to provide since they are continously looking at hiring new freelance writers. I guess it would be alright for new writers to give this company a try.

It is important that the students give the human new freelance writers a chance to prove themselves in this business. Yes, AI can provide an updated paper that carries relevant information. Yes, AI essays are free most of the time. Yes, AI does a good job at sourcing information. But, AI does not have the sort of logic and analytical skills that only a human writer can provide. Ai has limitations when it comes to analysis.

Since the market pool is not really congested anymore, but new writers are still looking for a break, I really recommend that the new writers try to find a way to earn the chance to write for students. Sell yourself so that you will be trusted by the student over an AI generated piece of work.

There are very few academic research companies left these days. Most of them have folded shop since AI took over a majority of the business through student participation. So the problem is no longer how to find a legitimate academic research company, it is how to find a research company if at all. Most of the businesses have gone the AI route already, which seems silly when you think about it since most AI research comes free of charge to the students. Only a handful of independent and legitimate writers remain as well.

Writing Careers / Anyone employed by studyhood.com? [11]

The domain name is no longer for sale but, it is not active either. It is owned by a company but does not connect to a server at the moment. So I am not sure what game this company is trying to play. Will it eventually come back to life within the same line of business? Or, will it go the AI way like the other academic companies? Nobody can really tell at this point. I just hope that they do not continue to con the students once they decide to resurrect the business and the site.

I like the optimism that this thread contained when it was first started. We all had high hopes for the continuous growth and development of the academic writing field. All the while not knowing that there was a technology that was being developed that would be an academic writing career and company killer. Had AI not become the juggernaut that it is now when it comes to academic writing, we would all still be discussing how to develop our writing skills, helping student spot the fake writers and companies, and basically, just doing out best to improve our expertise in the evolving academic world. Now, we are fighting to survive in the business and hoping that the students will eventually come back to the human writers for their writing needs.

AccurateEssays.com is no longer in business. The address is not for sale either. So I am guessing that the url has recently expired and the original owner has not made a move to list the name again yet. Perhaps they have realized that being a 3rd rate company that employs 3rd rate writers will no longer work in the era of AI writing. If you are not a reliable and high quality writer, you will not last in the digital age of academic writing.

I am not sure what kind of person would hire a writer from a company called "essay-house". That name is a red flag in my opinion. If it is an essay house, then you can expect that it is an essay mill where you will not get any original paper from their writers, if they had any capable writers on staff. Yes, I am using the past tense "had" because the aforementioned company has long since been gone. The name has reverted back to go-daddy, who has in turn, parked the name for sale to whoever would want to buy the name. I don't believe that this name is going to sell to an academic writing company because the business climate in this field is really bad right now. The specific nature of the name will actually make it difficult to sell.

It is nice to read a threat that discusses how to properly cite a source in a research paper. These days, the students do not pay much attention to their citations and how it is represented in the page. Some tend to openly plagiarize the words of the original author or simply cut and paste without referencing it. I believe that this lack of knowledge when writing papers is one of the reasons why Introduction to Research and Writing should be brought back in college or at least in the final years of high school. They need to learn the importance of properly referencing information in a paper so as to avoid academic dishonesty charges in college.
