regardless of how much I try to help people.

the white knight!

WB this poster is looking for someone with real experience or contact info to help them-- you seem to think they are looking to be given a bunch of hot air by a rude boor.

it could have been anything. I worked for a place that had a very high, standard per page rate-- for a few months, before it went under. it is difficult for a company paying out that much to stay in business-- but it does happen.

Plus, any seasoned fraudster will know how to mask the text so that even a 100% plagiarized paper won't be detected by Turnitin or any other plagiarism detector. (I know how to do it

WB, you anti-social narcissist, leave the newbie alone. you don't know the answer to their question in the first place. ffs, simmer down.

The only reason she could come up with was I did not put quotation marks

when caught with your pants down like this, your goal should be to keep cool, apologize, and try to get them to reduce the fine. don't deny everything and escalate the situation. their phone number is on their home page, which you should know.

here is what I think: I have never seen an $800 fine at AR, so I think they are forcing you out. They saw a percentage in robbing you blind, because you have no future cash value to them, and now you're also a plagiarist. if you can convince them you have future cash value, and explain away the plagiarism somehow, you might even get the fine reduced. don't be a fool about it, though. try charming. good luck.

Writing Careers / academia-research reward points [16]

you should have read this thread-- we have established that reward points have no cash value, and any cash reward system at AR is arbitrary. since the last writing, I did receive a cash reward-- $30 or $40-- but I was told it was partial credit for an order a customer disputed. I still haven't earned a cent from reward points, in and of themselves.

a $12 fine here and there is par for the course at AR-- which is why they should give inverse-angle financial rewards-- but I have never heard of a $800 one-- what was the reason they gave you for such a massive fine?

actually, you've been very responsive from day one. when flamed, you burn.

what's more accurate is to say that you've been gracelessly echoing the resident troll ever since I graced this forum with my presence.

... as evidenced by your most recent battle-cry: "MODS! HELP!"

desperately trying to make yourself relevant

your misspelling struck me as relevant as well as annoying, so I decided to give you a clue. next time, don't bite the hand that feeds you.

it's schizo. there is no "schitz" in schizophrenia (which is now technically called something else anyway). you might be thinking of "schlitz," a high class beverage, or "schnitz," colloquial for penis... or, you might just be a total dumb-a--s.

Also they couldn't confirm my billing address so they wanted a scanned copy of my drivers licence

companies actually do this so that you don't scam them-- taking the paper, doing a chargeback, and running. it's a real pain, too, because it often means the writer has to wait while the customer's "scam radar" stops its crazed ringing.

OK, flame wars are fun and everything, but I have to lift and then go out to dinner. have fun watching the sunset from your cozy park bench. don't get mugged!

it's like "Waiting for Godot." you two.
rustyironchains
May 05, 2010

And how would you describe yourself

"slicker than owl ****."

How about a rusty "writer"

have you considered stand-up?
rustyironchains
May 05, 2010

the town has changed, but the village idiots are still hanging out on the same park bench, holding hands.

oh, you two.
rustyironchains
May 05, 2010

Told you who to correspond with and sent you his email address.

the person didn't work there anymore, and the address was equally outdated.

it's like the town has changed, and there's a drug store where the pool hall used to be. you're still saying "turn right at the pool hall," and no one knows wtf you're talking about.

So what does a person like me do then? Where do I go if I want to find a list of some good sites where I can work?

I only ever got one good tip here, and it was back when the boards were less polarized.

right now, it's a sharply divided ship of fools, with WRT and WB on one side, and StudentsBeware and asif, or whomever, on the other side... a real pack of losers, bar none--doing the opposite of what they say will probably get you a lot further than taking their advice. look, it's busy season... where are they? managing their companies? writing? no, they're too busy throwing crap at each other on anonymous message boards. I'd ignore them completely... but they're so fun to bait.

what I'd do, if I were you, USA, is wait till summer. on off-seasons, successful company owners and writers can be found on these boards, who might actually give you some good advice. also, the easiest way of getting around the "no recommendations" rule is to PM people. find someone who seems sane, butter them up, and then PM asking them to name some names. good luck.

With a number of them, yes. Only one of them is legit.

I don't trust WRT's experience. people with an axe to grind love this place, because it encourages them to be as destructive as possible, under the guise of "helping." WRT, please stop posting "inside info" about places for which you don't work.

What's so bad about recommending good/honest sites to people who want your help?

it makes the trolls who have taken over these boards nervous.

leave AR

or, you could make your own decision. keep in mind, this is a crooked industry. you can spend your whole life looking for that "honest" term-paper mill that cares deeply about its writers, offers them fringe benefits, has a ping-pong table in the lounge, etc. here's my rule of thumb... do they pay? yes? OK, keep it coming.

Another thing - why should ANY QUALIFIED WRITER - any educated person - accept the peanuts these people are handing out to their writers?

you obviously haven't worked for them in a while-- AR has very competitive rates. a flood of new UK orders has really boosted the payouts.

they are a far cry from the EW spinoff people take them for-- it's a shame people who don't even work for them are allowed to post incorrect CPP rates.

I would, WB, but you do such a great job of that yourself... I'm lazy! I don't do unnecessary stuff, if I can help it. and ffs, quit assuming that I'm little. I mean, I assume that you're some sort of obese slag, but I don't get up in your face about it... I might be wrong! you never know.

until you start recognizing the difference between ESL and EFL... and no, there will be no lesson-- it's better if you find out yourself. maybe you'll actually remember, if it appears in your magic mirror.

"Ukrainians in sheep's clothing!" nope... nothing wrong here! um... besides that it implies that all Ukrainians are ravenous and "illegal" wolves, clamoring for the blood of American sheep, a dangerous Cold War era assumption you just backed up, yet again.

also, here's a grammar tip-- only because you begged. get on it-- move that apostrophe over... sheeps' clothing. there you go.

of course I know I'm illegal. the only quality people in this world are outlaws. speaking of evidence, you happen to be living proof of that.
rustyironchains
May 03, 2010

it's actually "professional accomplice," if you want to get semantic (which you don't, because you're a tard).

anyway, wtf do you know about what I do for a living, look like, or anything else you've been assuming?

trolls don't debate, argue, or really give a rat's ass about evidence, WB. they make an ass out of u and me, and they don't know when to stfu. it's a hollow tree called the internet, WB, and you've fallen in love with the blowback of your own hot air. it's like Narcissus getting stuck looking into the water... no one is going to unstick them. I feel sorry for you.

the company's ESL nature and physical location in France

look up the difference between "ESL" and "EFL." the fact that you used "ESL" here sort of puts its own spotlight on your nationalism problems-- I don't really have to say much.

but, to answer your question,

1. I don't spend my entire life with my ass in front of a computer screen.

2. I find it incredibly pointless "debating" a dense troll with echolalia, antisocial personality disorder, and no discernible sense of shame, charm, or creativity.

heads or tails?

May 02, 2010

no, no, WB, you can't go back and correct it now.

lol. "throws of embarrassment." you're a real piece of work. I'm curious-- were you home-schooled?

and in a post about spelling errors, no less! too rich.

Ukrainians in sheep's clothing

WB, our resident "national profiler," strikes again. hey WB, why don't you get to know a few Ukrainians in real life? maybe then, they'd stop being your out-group of choice. of course, you caustic head-case, if you're anything like the raging ***** you are on the internet, good luck.

academia-reseach.com is OK-- be careful, though: small orders first. find a good writer, and get their number.

academon.com is OK-- they don't hire everyone who walks in the door. how refreshing!

freelancewritingcenter.com is OK-- see AR above: same advice.

I guess this will be deleted, since God forbid anyone say anything constructive and designed to help people on boards that are designed specifically to be destructive and negative.

academon is legit. they price well, too. But do they actually treat their business seriously?

if I can offer you some advice, Joe: don't just upload your A papers; upload all of them. this industry is all about quantity, and often, customers want B papers anyway, because they are not "too perfect." the more papers you have up, the more $ you can make.

my "daily job" is to vex fraudsters and con-artists like you.

WB, I suspect that you are too proud to actually look up "fraud" and "con-artist" in the dictionary, and I respect that. but, will you at least look up "job?"

I joined the academia research and indeed

they didn't want you as a writer; stop being such a baby, and take some English lessons.
