Essay Clown was one of the three companies that cheated me out of one months pay, but I got the other two to cough up. Only Essay Clown held out, despite being reported to the Justice Department and Federal Trade Commission, as well as the Department of Labor.

They are the most cunning and evil manipulators of all, but as I said, I have now resold all the essays I wrote for them many times--dozens and hundreds of them, so I got my money back just the same. LOL

If they are charging the customers $22 per page, they are probably paying the writers $8-9 per page, which is a real rip off.

And even if they are charging the customers more, I doubt that the writers will be getting a raise.

And no one would want to do 17 revisions for such lousy pay in any case. Nobody makes anything from revisions so they would probably prefer to just dump it.

I know from experience that I never go $20-30 per page, and that for this 12 page paper it would be more like $120 at most. Of course any place that has bidding like that is hard for writers to make much money.

I will say that I never got cheated by custompapers, and that was the only company that didn't rip me off. Just don't expect to get rich working there.

I would add that they WERE an honest company once, before they changed hands and became Essay First. Then they really went downhill.

Actually only about 25-30% goes to the writer. This is the type of company that has the writers bid on the orders instead of just giving a fixed price, which is generally not a good deal for writers.

Of that $414 he paid, the writer would have gotten about 25%, which is normal for these companies.
