As a full-time gig, I think $100K is achievable. If you are extremely good at what you do, people will pay for the peace of mind knowing that you'll do the right thing by them.

Hi guys,

My two (Australian) cents. I initially advertised on Gumtree (Aussie equivalent of Gumtree) before I had a website.

I don't think it matters where you advertise or for that matter, where you find a writer. As long as the work is excellent, who really cares what the source is!

And by Aussie equivalent of Gumtree, I mean Aussie equivalent of 'Craigslist'. Oops... more coffee, please!

What do you consider to be bargain basement rates? Is basement a level of quality that you would provide to your customers?

The point on writers being payed after producing the work is absurd. Why would anyone take that kind of risk? If your worried on this point pay by card and start with small essays as FW recommended.

There's nothing absurd about it. I only charge after a customer has received and reviewed their work. The risk is much, much larger on the downside... Imagine if a customer came onto a board like essayscam and said "OMG - Earn Great Results was sooooo dodgy/scammy/corrupt etc." Personally, I'd rather risk someone not paying instead of having them slander my brand for not delivering what they expected.

My two cents on pricing assignment writing...

1. You get what you pay for
2. A writer should receive payment after the work is completed

That's two cents!

I thought you were referring to a writing standard... 'Critical proof'...

Maybe not so much other subjects?

You are right here. I write business papers and it would be hard to include a citation with (nearly) every sentence. Most academic journals retain the voice of the author, so it's a bit unreasonable that you're expected to do this for every independent thought you present.

Anyway, should I avoid choosing 'essay' and go for 'research paper' instead?

A bit cheesy, but this guy says it all. Be specific!

Hmmm... Maybe standards differ from country to country, but this still strikes me as a little strange. Did you at least receive a reference list so you can update the work yourself?

My favourite quote from that site is

"Who will write your paper? Is he qualified enough? What expertise he or she have?"...

It's sites like this that keep me in a job :)

There are many writers without getting a good job. Even i am one of them. Is there any proper or permanent way for them to get a legit job. Please provide us the solution.

I'd question solutionmaker's output in the form of an essay based on the above sentence?!

There are a number of established writers on this forum and I'm sure if you take a look around, you'll find one.

Agreed with WB. I don't know how you can do more [work] with less [writers]. Your argument is flawed.

Love the responses... This argument is entertaining because there is no reference made to specific companies, just a nice amount of generalization and a 'big is bad' mantra. I argue that there are greater economies of scale with large writing companies, because I know for a fact that I sometimes struggle to manage demand when servicing a maximum of five clients a week. This provides cheaper papers for the greater good. chronicle.com/article/article-content/125329/ discusses it... a real eye-opener for the ghosts that walk.

I guess this really depends on your location. If you were based in Australia... oh never mind! I'm not allowed to advertise on here.

Essay Services / ozessay.com.au Big mistake! [22]

I'd like to jump on the tail of AussieBella's comment and say that in my field of consulting, I've worked with ESL people who run rings around the Australians in the same roles. A few times I've seen people who do twice the work and receive half the pay. One Infosys consultant I knew worked 14 hour days, 6 days a week and was never perturbed by this. Having said that, her English held her back from being able to move to the client side, which was a real shame. In summary, I have no doubt that you're an excellent writer, but just like the movie, meaning can be lost in translation.

F?*k off, spammer.

Ouch.

AussieBella, thanks for the feedback. My Gumtree Ad has been taken down, temporarily I hope... So I will be relying on word of mouth referral like yours to maintain my assignment flow-through!

Kind regards,

Hi dragon24,

I'm not familiar with the academon site, but paying up front for something sight unseen always sounds a little risky to me.

I'll be interested to know what the quality of your paper is like, based on the customer service you have experienced so far.

Hi Linguaga,

Of course it's possible, it just depends on if you really want to do it. There's a marked difference between running an assignment / essay business and purely writing assignments. The fun part of the business is exceeding peoples expectations after they've been burned by dodgy operators. The not-so-fun part is chasing down leads when you're in start up mode. I digress... if your writing is exemplary, I may have some tasks that you can pick up in the next few weeks.

Kind regards,

Hi pheelyks

Please enlighten me as to 'how this works'?

I've read the Ts & Cs, looked at the last five pages of posts and offered a service to AussieBella, someone who it seems, has not got what she paid for.

In reference to the 'slapped-together website making revenue by selling ad space to work-at-home scams' comment, I'm not sure if you are familiar with what you are referring to.

Gumtree is the Australian version of Craigslist, which, as you may know is a good place for small businesses to advertise to their target market. I can spend a few thousand on a nicer page when I have got a bit more cash, but at the moment, the page is working great.

Your feedback is welcome on the next website though. It seems you've got a bit of free time, responding instantaneously to my post is evidence of this.

Hey AussieBella,

Sorry to hear about your experience. I've been researching the international essay mills and haven't seen a lot of good feedback.

I've read this excerpt about four times... ''Since, the article has also been drafted keeping in purpose the targeted audience and then using the proper media to communicate with them will ensure that there is maximum satisfaction and the targeted audience is appealed" and would say it's the laziest writing I've seen in about four years!

In the interest of full disclosure, I run my own custom essay service that you should check out. Satisfaction is guaranteed (sounds cheesy, but my customer feedback doesn't lie!)

I couldn't get the hyperlink function to work (newbie to this forum)... but you can check it out here... bit.ly/wgBgS4

Cheers,
