Essay Services / Legit Essay Writing services. [26]

Based on the claims made by the owners of this forum on the front page, I guess the students can take their word for it when it comes to their sticky banner recommendations. Since these writers and companies appear to be paying good money to be able to post their services in various channels on this forum, it would be safe to assume that the companies and the writers will not be running a questionable operation. After all, this forum will most likely not continue to accept their advertisement payments if they proved to be a liability. I mean, if clients come here complaining about any of these services or writers, it would definitely affect the image of this forum as a reliable source of information with regards to academic paper development for students. That's why I would place a sizeable amount of trust in dealing with these companies. They are here because they have proven themselves in the market.

Basically, a student will consider a company to be of the non-scamming type if the writers of the company deliver on the paper before or on the deadline every time an order is placed and, if the student consistently gets good grades for the papers done by the writers of that writing company. Students are typically easy to please when it comes to their demands.

As long as the paper is properly worded, follows the instructions provided, and passes the plagiarism test, he will be a happy camper. These are normally the reasons that a student will keep coming back to the same service and the same writer. If the student does not get the kind of service that is expected, then he is definitely going to be telling others that the company and its writers is a scam. It all boils down to delivery. Consistent service delivery = not a scam. Problematic client service = scam.

While writing a 10 page paper is something that sometimes happens in this business. Oftentimes, a writer will stop to consider the required elements of the presentation before taking on the work. For example, if the work requires the writer to do interviews, experiments (of a given time frame), or perform specific actions prior to writing the paper, then there is a likelihood that a writer who is not capable of pulling off the practical requirements of the research will turn down the client. However, if it is just library based researched that say, can be completed by an online research and journal readings, without the writer having to pound the pavement for information sources, then there is a strong possibility that the writer will tend to accept that 10 page order instead. It all depends upon whether or not the writer is skilled enough to pull together the requirements of the paper within such a short time frame.

Essay Services / Coding Assignment - Help Please [9]

What??? @Romesh Fernando you are not making any sense at all. Please, please, don't tell me that you are a writer for that company. If you are, how the heck do you expect to actually help students coming to you for paper development? Please go peddle your ESL mangled advertisement somewhere else. I know you are trying to advertise a service but, any student who is looking for proper English paper help will definitely not fall into this trap. If you can't think in the language, you can't speak the language. You definitely also can't write in the language. Those two always go hand in hand and your case, both went down the tubes the minute to started typing. Do yourself a favor and plant your head in the ground like an ostrich. You should be ashamed of yourself for killing the Queen's language in such a manner.

I expect to see a company representative from OmniPapers.com to show up here anytime now to dispel everything that your investigation just revealed. Of course they will never admit to the deceitful practice that you discovered. They may even claim that the women just happen to share similar information. The basis being that the name is so common, there could really have been two of them enrolled at the same university in similar / different majors. Of course nobody will fall for that line of reasoning.

We all know that they will play the denial game because their business depends upon it. However, you have made sure that they won't be able to create a solid defense for any of their claims. Good job. Now, if only they would just remove the fake site and profile rather than keeping it up there, waiting for people to fall into their trap. If the real EJ ever comes across this, she should definitely consider suing them for identity theft.

I sincerely doubt that the professors will prefer to read the dumbed down derivative form either. In my opinion, that would practically lead to the students having to write in an almost ESL type format. Which, if I were the professor, would make me think twice about just how effective I am in my profession. Dumbing things down, in order to avoid plagiarism accusations will do just that.

The plagiarism checkers and the lazy professors who rely on the reports (seriously, they need to double check the reports that come in) will create a generation or so of derivative writing students who may or may not have understood what the lesson was really about. Since the writing, in order to avoid plagiarism problems, will need to beat around the bush and take an hour to get to the point, students who really never learned anything will end up sounding like they probably learned something. Why did I say that? The students who write in a derivative manner will be able to hide the fact that they don't have a clue because the writing allows them to hide that fact by "writing something without actually writing something of value." Just confuse the heck out of your reader and it will most likely fly since the professor won't be interested in reading the rest of the paper. Bad writing will become the college research and essay presentation norm all because of the "plagiarism" concern.

As college students, they should be coming across as the upcoming leaders in their field with the best and brightest minds just waiting to join their chosen profession. Derivative writing due to plagiarism concerns will definitely prevent the students from developing that talent / skill. That is why I think this plagiarism mania is doing a complete disservice to the learning process of students.

Uhm, I think it is against the TOS of the forum for you to be soliciting for work on the boards. Why don't you remove this post and try to contact a potential client using the email form available instead? If you want to advertise your services then you should be paying to do that like the other "paying to be advertised" participants here.

From the simplicity by which you developed that single advertising line of yours, I somehow feel like the client who hires your services will get duped. Mostly because there is a clear ESL feel to the way that you write. I don't think a client looking for the best work possible from a directly hired writer will gain any benefits from hiring you. Afterall, you did not even try to write more than a single, obviously practiced sentence to sell yourself on the forum.

In a world where it seems that criminality is increasing and is even tolerated in the highest echelons of government, the way that the writer depicted the moral righteousness of the U.S. seems logical. Based on the academic standpoint that is. Considering that academic dishonesty only covers basic mistakes / calculated mistakes done by university students, the punishment of expulsion from the university or college seems very harsh indeed.

If one thinks about it, the student just "cheated" on his paper by having someone else write it, he "plagiarized" content based on software algorithms that cannot differentiate between so many factors that could prove non-plagiarism on the part of the student, he asked a writer to take "an exam" for him.All of these are negligible offenses in my book. Mostly because the student (a) didn't kill anybody (b) cheated only himself in the process, and (c) still had to do the classwork (by attending classes and participating in other class graded activities) in order to actually complete the grade requirements. So where is the actual harm in hiring an assistant to aid a student in these instances?

Maybe it's time the world-wide educational institutions consider an overhaul of their policies with regards to these concerns instead. Bringing the academic writing industry out of the dark and into the light can only bode well for both the students and industries alike.

I am not sure about how to receive that information. Are they trying to develop a field in the business that relies on the con game to get clients? It seems that you are right about these people trying to change the mindset of the students from the US and related countries by trying to convince them that they should pay for essays and submit it for a grade rather than using the papers as it was originally intended for, as model papers. Funny how they mention WritersBeware and ES specifically in the report.

I guess that goes to show how effective the campaign launched at this site to pressure the scam companies into getting out of the market is working along with the program to help educate students about how to spot a con advertisement and how to find a reliable service. Students who have been warned, know what warning signs to look for because of ES. Therefore, the whole unordered bullet list that was created for the article is useless. ES participants have made sure that students know to look out for more than just those information before entrusting their money and their paperwork to any company.

My advice is not to worry about something that may or may not happen. Go with the flow and see where it goes. Wait a decent amount of time and then file a chargeback before the Paypal policy on refunds ends. Normally, Paypal sides with the complainant and you will most likely get the money back since you have evidence of the guarantee. Even though you filed some private information with them for the completion of the order, that does not mean that it can be used against you at the university. Rather, I would be more worried about identity theft instead.

Don't go running to the university powers immediately, even with a confidentiality clause in place. You never know when something you did might have voided that clause. The less people who know about what you did, the better off you will be. Don't put your foot into your mouth just yet. The company won't want to blow its cover by telling the university about their work. They've got more to lose than you do. Besides, you cancelled the order like Major said so they definitely don't have anything on you since your documents will immediately negate any claims they make to your university. Intent does not equal the commission of an action. It only means you thought about doing it then changed your mind.

@Major it is the "plagiarism paranoia" that is going to eventually kill the same industry. Professors and universities with their high "moral code" regarding plagiarism are making students afraid to even draft an essay for fear that they might have accidentally plagiarized the content. Okay, I know I have written an exaggeration, but you get the point. These plagiarism checkers should not be the "be all and end all' for the academic career of a student. These should only be references and yes, if the same paper turns up in plagiarism check, the professor sure as hell better be sure that it wasn't the student who submitted the paper who did the plagiarism checking on that site in the first place. If he did, then no plagiarism happened.

In addition to that, the students also do not bother to read the TOS from beginning to end. Very few students do that, which is why these companies get away with the con. Student's don't always have a clue that when they use anything that is "free", they pay for it in some other way. As with the case of giving away their rights to their own work, without knowing they did so because the TOS is confusing the read. They will probably read as far as "we let you keep the rights" then do not manage to the the "but..." in the proposed agreement.

The implication, as per my understanding, based on my dealings with various types of writing companies, is that when the deadline is distant, the writer has more time to complete the paper in a relaxed and perfected manner. Hence the lower cost per page. The costing also implies that the student is looking for savings per page by placing the order early. In my opinion, the variation in rates should depend mostly on the ranking of the writer at the company and not the deadline. The most senior writers should get the highest CPP as they are the seasoned and reliable writers whose skills the students can rely on to get them through those distant or deadliest deadline times. The ESL companies should be charging less since there is a higher possibility that the client will be coming back with revision instructions. I am not saying all ESL companies that hire ESL writers are like this. I am just referring to the information that these companies tend to make the "unlimited revision" promises to the clients.

Essay Services / stay away from academized.com [8]

As I was reading the landing page of academized, I thought I recognized the writing style of one of my friends in the business. A simple phone call to my friend confirmed my suspicion. This company pays other writers, from other writing companies, to make their website look good. Even the non-descript photo of the girl made me suspicious of the site the minute I saw it. The company tried to go for a generic feel in order to make the students forget that the text on the page reeks of ESL English. Something that I have come to understand happens because these companies insist on SEO optimization for their keywords. Hence the ESL development of the sentences in the copy. This is definitely a site that should be avoided, based on the content of the landing page alone. It sounds like it is trying too hard to convince the reader of its services and capabilities. There is no sense of confidence in the writing. Instead, I get the feel of a company being run out of either Easter Europe or Asia.

@Donald I did cut and paste the link that you provided. While it did open the Twitter page of the company, under the guise of various "clients" retweeting a satisfied post, clicking on the link redirects to a Twitter page that explains why the link has been banned from being accessible via Twitter. That happens for all of the links that were posted in the feed. I believe that the identity belongs to a paid Twitter account and as such, cannot easily be banned, blocked, or removed. I know, commercial sites function differently from the verified personal accounts. Twitter would not want to refund the payment made to them so the most they can do is just block access to the site itself. It gives a semblance of Twitter actually doing something about the complaints, without them having to sacrifice and business that they have going on with the handle owners.

@Donald it appears that your quest to get this Twitter account shut down has worked. Enough reports have reached Twitter for them to have actually shut down the external links based on a violation of the TOS. Clicking on the link no longer leads to the page but rather, to a warning page that lists the dangers of the websitethat the student is trying to access. I could not get the site to load either. Since their Twitter page looks mostly like spam, that is perhaps the main reason why Twitter took action. You have got to hand it to these Russians though. They seem to have all the time in the world to create fake accounts to keep their con going. Those pictures look almost believable in some instances. Too bad they are all saying the same thing. If only they could invent a spambot that is capable of changing its prepared blurb on its own...

@Major these companies do not have to place fake orders in order to receive fake feedback. The owners of these sites simply pay other writers, sometimes within their own company, to write positive blurbs about their company. Instructing the writer to write in the most horrific English grammar that the writer can muster so that the student will think that the company actually helps ESL students improve their writing skills. In truth, their ESL writers need help themselves. However, the horrible writing skills of their writers become a total come-on for their company because the ESL students who need writing help can't tell the difference.

Engaging their own writers to write positive reviews for their own sites, while directing them to write negative reviews for competitor sites is the way that these companies try to stay relevant and steal clients from one another. This is the best way that they know to mislead the students, making them believe that the negative site is not affiliated with them when in reality, they share a writer roster and their order listings are based on the same server.

I don't think their aim is to get the American or British students. Rather, I think that their aim is to get the ESL students instead.

Essay Services / Coding Assignment - Help Please [9]

Coding AssignmentLet me get this straight, you are saying that recommendations are not allowed on the forum, you are not making any recommendations, and you are not recommending any particular services or writers, yet that is exactly what your post is doing.

You are making an indirect recommendation and that should be a violation of the TOS of this website.

Why is this covert recommendation still here? I thought that there were rules regarding not making recommendations? Oh well, it seems that these TOS instructions are "selective" in application. Or perhaps, the moderators are a bit remiss in their monitoring duties.

You "forgot" the real meaning behind the TOS. I mean, if you can do this, why can't the others at this forum right?

In my opinion, what you wrote was tantamount to someone implying, "I can't make a recommendation but I can offer you references instead.."

It's still a recommendation no matter how you try to word your post.

It's a sad day when legitimate companies like Karen's are run out of business by the proliferation of scam sites coming out of Europe. From the way I read her interaction with the people here, she was truly on the level and went out of her way to ensure client satisfaction. Not only that, but she was willing to explain her credentials to the people here, without becoming nasty or implying anything negative about the others.

I suspect that one of two things happened in this case though. Either she lost time to run the business because of a personal reason or, she had to pack up because she could not keep up with the competition. I would like to believe that it was the first option that happened. Maybe she found a better offer to work with and she went off and did that instead. Whatever the reason, her company is a great loss in the writing industry. It was a good company while it lasted.

Guarantees of any sort should not appear in these websites at all. Since all the papers written by the writers for these companies are deemed to be "model papers", meant to be the guideline for the student to follow in writing his own worded version of the essay, the guarantee of a grade should not be made. After all, how the student interprets the research paper will be different from that of the original writer. The new written version will be the one that gets the grade, supposedly, not the writer's work.

So, it stands to reason that the student cannot be assured of an actual grade. Since it is supposed to be "his original work", based on the model paper that will be handed in for a grade. No writer can ever guarantee an actual grade for a student. A writer can estimate a possible grade, but not say it is a "definite" grade to be achieved based on the writer's work. Any student who hands in the writer's work, rather than using it as a sample for his own writing, using only important citations from the model paper, is asking for trouble.

Essay Services / HOW to find a legitimate writer? [21]

@lyx0 at this point, your only option will be to consider one of the essay writing companies recommended by the forum. It is truly the hot season for all the freelance writers at the moment. What with only 2 weeks or so to go into the remaining school year, all of the best and brightest independent writers have already been booked solid as early as 3 months ago. Procrastination never delivers good results. So what are you left to do?

Consider hiring an essay writing service instead. Not all of those companies are scams. There are a number of them that actually deliver as promised. Now, since you don't have the time to vet the companies before your deadline sets in, perhaps it would be to your benefit to look over this forum for the most qualified company to work with instead. Go through the Essay Services thread. Maybe a reliable company will come up for you to use. Only a writing company may have a staff writer on stand by at this point who can take your order.

@paperown What exactly are you trying to do here? Drum up publicity for your company? Or make the student run for the nearest exit and not consider your company services? This post does not make any sense, nor does it tie in with the previous discussions.

I can only surmise that you are one of those "fly by night" company representatives who was hired to promote the company, even though you are not even an ESL writer. This sounds like the English grammar of a third rate company representative coming out of one of those non-English speaking countries.

You are are not doing your company any favors by simply posting the SEO keywords in the thread. Your response needs to make some sort of sense to help promote your company. At this rate, you are definitely promoting your company as one of the worst, if not the words in the business.

@carr_j It is unfortunate that you did not see how much of a loss it was to you to have donated your papers to this company. Sure you got a free subscription for submitting your previously completed work. The cost of the free subscription though, isn't commensurate to the amount that the company will be receiving in the future for the papers that you wrote, which they sold to other students as "example essays". You surrendered your rights to your paper for the least possible benefit in this case. You probably did not know about how the actual "deal" works between the company and the student. If you did, you would not have been so willing to submit your papers for so little in exchange on your part.

It's too late to change the situation for you now. You already submitted 6 essays to them. If I were you, I would not submit anymore and instead, look for other places where you can actually earn for every purchase of your old essay. Don't settle for less when you can have more. The constant reselling of the same paper on your end could result in some pretty decent earnings for you over a period of time.

Certain academic writing companies coming our of Eastern Europe or the third world have been known to do "background checks" on a student based on the information presented to them. These are the SOB companies that have absolutely no sense of honor and whose word isn't word the mud it was written in. Yes, they were trying to blackmail you in a way. The problem with their con is that you did not use the work that they turned in to you for a grade, nor did you use it as a sample paper. You developed your own, original presentation and submitted that instead.

Therefore, any claims they make about turning you in has no basis. Sure you placed an order, sure they can prove that they did work for you, but you can also prove that you did not use their work for your submission. Any professor who looks into this (if they actually follow through on the thread), will see the difference and realize that they are trying to con you. Will you get into trouble with the university? Probably. Then again, no study ever got into trouble for having an "intent" to do something against the moral code of the university. They would have to prove that you committed a violation first. So I don't think you have anything to worry about in this case.

They are just trying to scare you off from filing a case with PayPal. I am encouraging you to go ahead and do it. File the dispute and watch them come back to strike a deal with you, which I hope you will refuse. Don't be afraid. I did not read anything in your post that would give them any opportunity to make trouble for you in the university. Don't let them shock you into cowering into a corner and giving in to their demands.

GhostwriterThe earnings of a newbie writer in the academic field will depend mostly on whether or not he is attached to an essay writing company. The essay writing company tends to do an 80-20 split when it comes to the earnings. An ESL writer will suffer at the hands of the company if his English writing level is not at par with the vocabulary requirements of the paper.

No matter what rate is proposed, if the ESL writer will be penalized for various writing or improper research mistakes, in terms of grammar and punctuation, then the writer isn't going to be able to earn much. He will lose most of the income to penalties. So it is not right to guess the type of earnings a writer can make in a week, regardless of whether it is on a local or international academic market level. The earnings of the writer will depend on his writing level and the greediness of the academic company when it comes to wanting to take a lion's share of the writer's income. If a ghostwriter wants to earn a decent income in this field, he or she should try his best to start his own company, run his own QAD, and deliver on the client requirements. But it is not easy by all means and may not even be worth it considering the global competition in the ghostwriting market.

That is the only way to avoid penalties that make it difficult for ESL writers to earn a decent income in this too crowded field.
