WritersBeware, I really enjoy your posts, and all the research you put behind them. I had to register here when you brought up that link, historypapers.org. The site is absolute filth. The grammar is horrendous, and a person can ascertain from the sporadic lack of articles in front of nouns throughout their articles on the site, (ie: a, the, an) that it is maintained by a ESL'er, and most probably a Slav, as there are no articles in the Slavic languages.

...and for this simple reason, I registered on the boards. The very fact that a.) Fracturegang's English is horrendous, and b.) is on one hand crying about how the U.S. and U.K based companies are cheating the education system (see first post), yet is trying defend hacked up ESL writers in the business of writing sub-par papers for unsuspecting end users (see post #15), is proving the point that alot of people have made here already in countless posts.

There are many good ESL writers out there. Are you saying you're one of them? Reading your posts on a casual, non-acedemic message board, and seeing the problems you have with just basic everyday vernacular kinda points otherwise, now doesn't it?

In layman's terms understandable to a 2nd grader:

The fraudelent foreign scam company sets up a U.S./U.K landline offered by a forwarding company. Some also set up mailboxes in the U.S. (As WritersBeware has proven in the past), also utilizing a forwarding company, adding to the ruse that said scam-essay companies are legitimate US/UK based firms. The calls and mail are forwarded to the owners in the Ukraine, Pakistan, various countries in Africa, etc. Hence the deception of posing as legitimate companies with native US/UK writers to suck the potential customer in, when in the end, the buyer receives a poorly written or plagiarized paper written by an ESL'er, who is paid peanuts compared to what his counterparts in the US/UK are paid.

A potential customer starts using the power of Google to search for essay writing companies. A majority of the scam companies come up as hits. The unsuspecting customer browses through various sites offering essay-writing services, and is greeted with such disclaimers as: Written by Native English Speakers; all essays 100% unplagiarized; satisfaction guaranteed or your money back, etc. What the customer fails to realize at the time, is that his order is being forwarded to some guy/girl in a 3rd world country, who has a passing fluency in the English language, but can't understand basic everyday American/British vernacular, complex innuendos, and proper verb usage. The customer is therefore scammed, insofar as they thought that "Matt" in the US/UK, who has a masters in English Lit, was writing his/her paper on "Shakespeares use of Middle English", when in actuality, Habib in Punjabi was trying his damndest to bust out a paper to fill the order, at $2.50 per page, and with a 6th grade English proficiency.

That's why it's a scam. And as soon as these fools get outed, they close shop, and reopen again under a different website name, offering the same hacked up services as before.

All you need to do is use the "search" button at the top of the ES forum page, and see for yourself.

Just read through WB's and others 1000's of posts on the aforementioned scam companies to see that they are just that: scams.

I think this is pent up British nerd-rage due to those little skirmishes they lost against the Americans back in 1781 and 1812. Owing to the fact that a) they have horrible dental issues, b) the worst food in Europe, and quite possibly the world, and c) women that look like they fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down, I can see how the Brits look for any possible means of degrading an American to try and make their pathetic, spotted-dick eating lives seem more meaningful.

3. British healthcare does NOT cover complex dental procedures, ie a person in need of a root canal could pay through the NHS roughly 46 pounds to have the tooth pulled (as recommended and provided by the Brit's healthcare system), or go private and pay 650 pounds for a root canal to save the tooth. Hmm....free healthcare, huh?

1. The claims about Richard Amerike are NOT accepted by high level academia. It is a theory. With all of your degrees, I am sure you understand the definition of THEORY. Show me one respectable acedemic that accepts this theory, outside of Welsh nationals.

2. I asked for proof of your claims about the American education system at the collegiate level being subpar to British institutions of the same level. Please provide the stats to back up your claims.

3. American cities haven't had the luxury of being bombed into oblivion by our enemies, and then rebuilt using the same American dollars under the Marshall Plan that could have been spent elsewhere.

4. The Brits, among other supposed European allies, seem to forget who saved their asses a few times during the past century. Nothing like sending American boys to do a job that British boys should have been doing for themselves (you can thank Mr. Chamberlain for that).

5. There is a reason America became the richest, most powerful nation ever created by humankind. It is our ingenuity, our diversity, and our compassion and moral fortitude that have built this nation after our total romping of the British in 1781. Using Google Streetview, the building looks like a run down heap. Whois lists Susanne Varzi in Sunnydale, CA (whom you listed) as owner of the site, which got my attention. Also the fact that they claim to have been around since 1996.
