Samples? :p
Are you retarded? There are no "samples" to show because they have been COMPLETELY REMOVED. Duh!
If you don't believe me, why not simply ASK THE MOD to confirm if he/she has ever done all three?
Are you retarded? There are no "samples" to show because they have been COMPLETELY REMOVED. Duh!
Then how do you know that they did do it? o.O Hahaha!

I would ask why you are "playing" dumb, but I don't think you're that talented.
I've seen vulgar and/or commercial content completely disappear well after the posters' editing window has expired. Again, if you don't believe me, shut your hole and ask the mod.
I recently got a marketing email from one site claiming to be a rival of essaybay and having better and more flexible functionality than essaybay. I don't remember the name exactly. Anyone heard of any competitor of essaybay?
No, none have heard of them except you ...
My serious to them would be to be serious if you are in the trade.
And my "serious" to you is learn English before having the temerity to demand payment for your written work.
I don't believe essaybay will worry too much about a diner, run by a chacha-dancing queen, which employs singing writers ...
Essaybay is relatively better site than masterpapers
Hey All,
I have not read through all the pages, but could someone please tell me if I can delete my profile and all the uploaded files etc from essaybay?
There is a writer who is blackmailing me with the fact that my information will be sent to my university with details about my account.
I really need to delete everything on the site.
Anyone knows how this can happen?
Thanks!
Well, when you upload your files to your writer, the writer can have access to all the info in those files. If you placed personal information there, it will be exposed to the writer. What information did you include in the files that you sent and who is the writer you are referring to? Was the writer the same one who did your order? I'm sure that when JenniferAA who is an admin of essaybay sees your concern here, she will immediately assist you. Also, you may want to try calling their customer service number.

Why don't you just tell him that blackmail is a serious crime and that becoming someone's b**ch in a federal prison is a lot worse than any problems he/she can cause you in school?

Unbelievable and unacceptable criminal behaviour!

Good for you Freelancer!
Seriously ... call Essaybay Admin at once and report the writer ... they have a duty towards you, the customer (just as they had a duty to check up on their writers). Also, do not show that SOB that you are in the least bit fazed by his/her behaviour. Write back to him/call him and do as Freelancer suggested - make it very clear that you will report him/her to the police and you must mean it. The police will not drag your university into this ...

Swedlife, if you email the admin address (admin@essaybay) with your user name, and a description of the problem, I can get somebody to look into this for you as soon as possible.
Good for you Freelancer!
Thanks, but that's not me. There's a recent member who uses that name here.
Take a look at this article published in Education Week (2/27/08, vol. 27). You all (of course) are aware of the staunch position which Barclay (Academic Answers) has adopted against plagiarism ... well, apparently, he decided to make news by reporting a coach who was buying essays for his athletes through ESSAYBAY (he did get a lot of oublicity out of that one). I, for one, think its high-time UkEssays picks a side: is he pro or anti-plagiarism?!
Essay Producer Warns of Plagiarism By Athletes
Section: Sports
Online bidding - for concert tickets, used furniture, rare books - is everywhere on the Internet these days. Another item subject to Web-based auctions: school essays.
The possible use of those essays by high school sports coaches seeking to help top athletes was brought to light recently by an unusual source: a British-based company that arranges sales of those written works.
EssayBay, an online service run by Academic Answers Ltd., based in Letchworth, England, allows customers to request essays on various topics - and have writers bid to provide them, and suggest a fee.
This month, EssayBay issued a press release saying it had received a request from a U.S. private high school coach for seven essays on the same topic, written in different styles. The company said the coach - whom it would not identify - later explained that he was attempting to boost the college résumés of a few stellar athletes. EssayBay also said a recent client survey showed that more than 45 percent of its customers said they were using the service to raise academic scores to "finalize sports scholarships," often with coaches' consent.
John M., the founder and chief executive officer of Turnitin, an Oakland, Calif.-based anti-plagiarism service, said it was "disingenuous" for services such as EssayBay to alert the public to possible academic fraud, when they in fact make it easier.
He believes his service, which enables teachers and others to check for plagiarism, can help "students to understand they're wasting their money" on such sites.
Jed, a spokesman for Academic Answers, said writers who sell their work through EssayBay can require that they be credited. Many of the essays of EssayBay and Academic Answers - services that have stirred controversy in the United Kingdom because of their work - are used as "study guides and model answers," Jed added, but that depends on the buyer-seller agreement.
Even so, company officials also felt it important that the use of papers by coaches "be brought to light," he added.

That's because they probably charge .10¢ per paragraph of incoherent garble.
hello everyone.
Let me start off by saying that i am new to this forum, but not new to forums. I did do a search and found that essaybay was a legitiment site to post a "project". i am kind of getting worried as it has been a few hours and no offers from writers. are writers staying away from this site because of the payment issues they are having with not being able to get paid for work completed?? should i go somewhere else? i have a paper due Wed 4/21!!!
I opened an account with essay bay under this username and after posting a project #06061 and picking a bidder I used paypal to place funds into the escrow account on 4/22. The funds have not appeared on the essaybay website, and the bidder has confirmed that they have not shown up in the account. I followed the link that was provided to place funds in a paypal account and while the paypal account was associated with a different email address than was provided for the essaybay acount, I don't see why that should matter. After writing service and admin at essaybay multiple times I have received no reply.
Should I dispute the charges with paypal?
I don't want my money back, I really need this project done I'm not exactly sure how to proceed, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Why, on God's Green Earth, would anyone use a bidding site that is in no way accountable for quality and/or writer qualifications? Any "writer" can open an account and flat-out lie about his/her skills, location, and/or experience in order to defraud customers. That absolute FACT has revealed itself many times in this forum. Plus, EssayBay is absolutely powerless to enforce freelance writers' so-called "guarantees." These writers are NOT employees of EssayBay. Sure, EssayBay tells prospective customers all about the guarantees that individual writers offer, but who PAYS a ripped-off customer if the writer refuses or simply vanishes? Absolutely ridiculous . . . .
Wake up, world.
". . . Essay Bay has no control over the truth, accuracy, quality, legality, or safety of postings made by users. Because verifying the identity of a user on the Internet is difficult, Essay Bay cannot and does not confirm the identity of users. Essay Bay also does not confirm nor verify the qualifications, background, or abilities of users."
Then . . . .
"If you are unsatisifed with another member, the most Essay Bay can do is refund the project commission you have been charged by us. We cannot refund the money you have sent to someone, we are not responsible for your transactions. Essay Bay is not responsible for fraudulent payments made by users and cannot be held liable for financial loss incurred from fraudulent transactions. It is the receiver's responsibility to verify the identity and background of the sender."
Then . . . .
"members who make a complaint to our payment processor will face account termination without notice"
SOURCE:
essaybay/terms.php
Translation:
"We want and demand a commission from you, the paying client, but we exempt ourselves from any responsibility to you whatsoever if one of our writers defrauds you. Plus, if the writer leaves you with no choice but to file a chargeback, we will close your account out of spite."
Unbelievable. I can only take so much before I make my opinion known for the public good. Some things just aren't right . . . .
wow thats a good point
"members who make a complaint to our payment processor will face account termination without notice"
it looks like this is a step worth of trying when scammed
EssayBay sounds like a well-planned racket to me . . . . .
Definitely a scam. The payment system sounds like it was set up with expert advice. Advice coming from an experienced scamming accountant and, a scamming lawyer that can help the company keep the money and avoid being brought up on charges by the writers and the clients. I guess this is the reason why their writers have all but dried up. They lose too much money through penalties, investigations, and other unfair money withholding schemes that the company can think of without any recourse with regards to being able to collect what is fairly due to them. .
If the company in question is essaybay-usa then the students might be happy to hear that they no longer use the escrow method of payment. It appears that they stopped using the escrow model of payment when they underwent the domain name change. There were too many problems associated with the escrow system, that made their services appear highly questionable to most students. They now prefer to be paid via PayPal and will only assign a writer once the payment has cleared PayPal. That is good news. While I still do not trust the company as a reliable one, the fact that they use Paypal means the students are better protected against criminal financial acts on the part of the company due to the protection service of Paypal. Again, if the company I mentioned is the right one, then deal with them carefully, if you choose to do so.
