The site has been taken offline since the time that Cite made his review. The files have been indexed and packed up. No doubt in preparation for taking the url offline as well. The only conclusion that can be had from this is that the site is a fraud. The fraudulent companies seem to have not survived the pandemic state of Covid for some reason. They have mostly gone offline, thus removing the possibility that students will be faced with problems by hiring their services. These non-existent companies may still come back in the future under a different guise, but I strongly doubt that since they were not able to keep their previous persona active.

It appears the OP was not familiar with the way these Ukrainian companies have their anchor pages created. He came across this site because of the lousy copy that was written with SEO in mind and nothing more. He also did not do his homework before hiring the company because the anchor page alone would have been enough to make an English native speaker run away from the company as fast as possible. Of course it is a fraud site. The people running it are not even intelligent enough to know that their anchor page is not exactly creating the best impression of their writers in the eyes of the potential clients. The English is so bad, only an ESL student who really needs help with his English usage would think they would deliver an excellent paper.

AR is one of the more longstanding academic writing sites out there. They still do pay their writers on-time but their writer support has become shoddy these days.

When a writer requests for assistance in contacting a student, none is received. Instead the writer is, more often than not, told to leave the student a message and wait for a response. That even after the writer has already informed them of several failed attempts to do so.

Their ability to pay on time is negated by the increasing lack of writer support. The cost per page is not commensurate to the additional duties intentionally placed on the writers. Perhaps they have all but eliminated the writer support department?

The Ukrainian writing companies are currently in a very problematic situation because of the current war going on in their country. They are not capable of fulfilling orders at the moment due to the uncertainty of the day to day activities that may involve their emergency evacuation at the drop of a hat. However, they cannot let go of their essay writing companies since the servers that house these systems are located overseas. Like all enterprising con artists, they saw a way to make money through their company by capitalizing on the war. If we focus upon how the Ukranians are now soliciting "Donations" for the war or charity work in the Ukraine, they have definitely fallen to the level of the con artist Kenyans. The only difference being the Ukrainians actually need the money to survive these days, while the Kenyans just want to continue to fleece the clients. There is a big difference in their situation but, they both have the same target, hoodwinking the students who want to hire writer services. None of them deserve credit at this point. They are not too different from each other in terms of final targets.

@FreelanceWriter Then there is a high likelihood that he was also the person who started attacking you in the chat section. That makes him even more deplorable in his attempts to discredit you and I. He does not realize that all he is accomplishing through his direct attacks on you is helping to promote your services and proving your integrity as a long- time writer in this field.

@FreelanceWriter Some unsolicited advice from me. Ignoring this person going forward would be the best thing for you to do. Focus on what is truly important, selling your skills and helping students. This troll is not going to shut-up and fade away if you constantly take his bait. He is not worth the effort to argue with or explain to. He is incapable of having a logical discourse. He is not even a real academic writer anyway. He never managed to provide any evidence that he is any sort of skilled writer. He is just filled with rage and jealousy for you at this point. He is just looking to start and prolong senseless arguments. Something that I choose to believe is beneath you and I.

I would like to apologize for having mentioned your name in the first place in the thread that got him started. My only intention was to make sure I understood your explanation in our previous conversation properly and I was applying it correctly to the scenario. I had no idea this guy would fly off the handle like this. My apologies again.

2) If you request an essay to be completed within a time frame that you couldn't complete yourself, you're going to be highly disappointed and the risk factor, such as the writer bailing on you increases exponentially.

Academic writers are used to completing work for students with short tun. around times. Itis actually the lifeline of the business for those who specialize in these situations. Truely skilled research writers can make the impossible possible for students. The risk factor only comes in when the writer hired has misrepresented himself just to get the job. If a writing company is hired instead of an independent writer, then the scenario above will lbecome true. The companies are usually where the writers who lack skills and/or misrepresent their skills are to be found.

This writing company is the same as bestessays.com.DND. It belongs to the same umbrella group of companies and writers that work directly out of the Ukraine. They are also soliciting financial help for the Ukraine, which will not go to the support of groundwork in the country, but will only go into their own coffers and pockets. This is the major reason why students should not hire any of the related companies. They are obviously only out to do a cash grab and nothing more. The war and the high sentiment of support the Ukraine being their primary driving force at the moment. Do not deal with them. You may end up losing more than just the amount of the lousy paper they will be delivering to you past the deadline.

I cannot help but wonder if bestessay and primeessays are one and the same company. Why? They are both trying to direct the students towards an unverified Ukraine donation website. While this open admission of their actual location is beneficial to the students, the fact that they are trying to fleece them, without explaining what organization is being donated to, creates warning signs. Their focus as of now is not on writing services but rather, on getting solicitations for the war effort. Something that should not be done by an academic writing company. Does anybody know where these sorts of con presentations can be reported? Surely they are other fake donation sites out there and people have been reporting them to the proper authorities right?

It is the duty of the company to inform the writers through a message blast when there is a problem with the server. There should be a redundant system in place to still allow the clients and students to access the orders during this time. Order taking may be taken offline within the backup system, leaving the focus only on upload and download needs of the respective parties. There need not be a complicated manual system in place as Cite indicates. That is so old school, it would simply take too long for the clients to get their papers that way. The clients should also get an email or text blast regarding the server status on a regular basis during the down time. That way the student will not worry that he has been scammed by the company and, he can make adjustments to his submission deadline if necessary / possible.

Exactly what sort of company is Educate America? The company itself does not exist. It does not appear in any Google search listing. What does appear are the American educational programs and senate bills related to such keywords. I believe that this company never existed on an internet scale. This was perhaps a service advertisement placed in some newspaper or electronic advertising medium that the OP clicked on, and found himself scammed. The name sounds believable enough but I still would have done some sort of background check before working with them. When something sounds too legitimate, the person on the other end should have some sort of suspicions. The payment method for one is not nornally used by any sort of essay writing company so that should have been the main reason to think twice about dealing with them. The company sounds more like one that would have come out of Nigeria. The criminal companies and writers coming out of that country often use the aforementioned methods to prevent paying out to their writers.

I have not come across any cases of graduated students who have been blackmailed by an essay compan or companies. The blackmail scenario seems to work only on enrolled students and not graduates. If compared to the recent Varsity Blues scandal, only active students have a lot to lose if found out as accomplices to a crime. Do not misconstrue my statement. Academic writing assistance is not a crime provided the student uses it as a model paper. We do not control the results of what happens when it is submitted for a grade.

The companies that go out of business do not normally chase after previous clients. That is not to say that some might do that in the future. Let's not give them any ideas now. International data privacy laws are in place to protect the students globally. However, protecting your privacy starts with you. Avoid using bank and credit cards when you can. Prepaid cards are fast becoming an option when it comes to digital payments. These seem to have a better cloaking system in terms of protecting your information.

Having said these things, I cannot assure you that you won't be blackmailed in the future. I will not worry needlessly about it for now. Not all companies are blackmailers. You may have chanced upon an honest one for all you know. If you tell us what company you dealt with, we might be able to put your mind at ease (or not) depending upon what we know about it. Can you tell us the company name?

The page is now listed as temporarily unavailable. It appears the site is trying to cover up for its problems by assuming the guise of a redesign. By cutting off the site, they no longer have to deal with the problems associated with refunds and negative reviews. The last thing they would want to do is refund the orders. They also do not relish the thought of having to defend themselves in sites like ES. If we are lucky enough, they will let the domain name die instead. Then we will be rid of yet another pretender in the game.

The company url is offline. There is no way to load the page. I tried and did not get any connection or error message whatsoever. the browser just kept trying to contact the server. My guess is, the company followed the Philippine court ruling with the intention of resurfacing in another country and url. That is proving to be difficult for Yuri since there court decisions have a way of following the bad guy. His company is not a problem for us at the moment. We should prepare for his eventual resurfacing though. That is sure to happen. When is just a matter of time.

Noted offered to be your defender in another post..

Wow! Since when was trying to make friends or create alliances seen as a bad thing? When someone is right or being bullied, it is important that he is given moral support to help him overcome the situation. I never thought that would be taken against me. So I offered to help out FLW, nothing wrong with that. It does not mean anything either. Only an idiot would think that FLW and I would be the same person. You are just nitpicking at this point.

A writer who trashes others, using bully boy tactics

It only appears to be bullying to people who cannot defend their stance in the discussion threads. FLW, being a law graduate functions differently from the other writers here. He requires evidence before he will believe any claims. Nothing wrong with that. Just be prepared to justify your discussion points when he asked. Of course you have the option not to do that. In your case, I would suggest you not allow this discussion to reach that point.

Must be hard remembering all your log-ins and passwords

You obviously do not know how acquiring a user profile works at this forum. That can never happen.

You may want to get this discussion back on topic since you have strayed from your own discussion focus. You are just being a troll at this point. Try to be a positive contributing participant if you are capable of doing that.

Again with the empty assumptions. I never said I was in the business did I? I did not go anywhere near saying such a thing. I spoke of the students who use the services and nothing more. Do not jump to conclusions without knowing all the facts, the background of who you are speaking to, and if there are any real intentions to break any law. I never said that.

I do not care who writes UK laws. I know they are called Parliament but they do more bickering than passing useful laws. Don't even get me started on Boris Johnson. I thought we were just having a conversation here but you seem to be aiming for an argument instead. I don't play that game.

@LawEssayUK This has nothing to do with proofreading. I never mentioned that so what gave you the idea that I was implying such a thing? This is all about hired academic writing.

It appears that there are more companies pretending to be based in the UK that the students hire due to low costs. They are mostly UK students, with some ESL in the mix. The companies all claim to hire only UK educated ENL writers. If you are not familiar with this truth then you must be new to the game. Everyone here is cautious of any company that claims to be UK based as deeper investigations into the actual location and ownership background always proves otherwise.

Students will not be bothered by this law. This is just the product of a bunch of lawmakers, who know nothing about how the industry works, pretending to do something about a line of business they do not have any sort of control over, which you also little understand.

The bill will make procuring essay writing services in the UK and Wales illegal. The specific location mention is where the loophole lies. In order for this law to be enforced, the essay mill will need to be physically in these locations, which they are not. These companies buy UK addresses to mask their true location. Once this law becomes effective, they will simply buy a new non-Uk address to make them exempt from that rule. This will not affect the industry in a marked way. Students who need the services within these areas covered by the law will find a creative way around it.

Did I understand your explanation in a related thread correctly @Freelancewriter?

This company has found a way to make use of the Russia-Ukraine war for their personal gain. They now have a donate directly to Ukraine button popping up on their homepage once you access it. As a matter of financial security and data privacy, do not click on the button. Do not make a donation because it is definitely not going to the Ukrainian war efforts. It will however, go to lining the pockets of the now admittedly Ukrainian owner of the company. If you want to donate to the war efforts, do so through other, truly legitimate and above board channels. Never do it through a private entity. Just imagine, if they can lie about war donations, what else will they do once they receive your money as payment for yet to be delivered work?

I prefer not to publicize my prices

All these assignments work on a case to case basis so I can understand why you would not want to publicize your prices. There are back and forth negotiations involved, as well as other circumstances that may be unique to every student or professional. So the price could go up or down, depending on the situation. What truly matters is that the student / professional is assured of getting the paper they paid for upon delivery. No revisions required. That is what they pay for and expect of the writer and his product.

This is what I've been talking about. Quality papers come at a hefty price tag. The reputation of the writer dictates his degree of reliability and customer care. This review should help put the other students looking for a writer at ease. One more positive review, another satisfied client, one more reason to trust the reviews for specific writers at this forum. One need look no further for reliable premium writer services. In case anyone tries to make a big deal out of the lack of proper user handle, it is not an issue. He most likely logged in as a guest. FYI, the system would have caught FLW if he tried to get another identity or log in as a guest. So no, he did not write this review for himself.

considering he was facing academic sanction

The OP had what I believe to be a misplaced concern. He was focused only on the refund aspect of the situation and nothing more. It was as if he had resigned himself to his forthcoming sanction. His is a strange reaction if you ask me. He was not concerned with expulsion or having to explain himself to the academic jury. Not a reaction one would expect of a student whose academic future was at stake. You misread the student this time. He was all about getting the money back. He was willing to end his academic career for some reason.
noted

Well, I think the OP was actually the company owner in disguise trying to drive traffic to his site from this forum. Maybe he thought that posing as a client would help him get around the rules. The problem came from how he set up his post. The wording was not the same kind that a student would use. It also contained keywords that an optimizer would pick-up on. He did not do a good job at heading his identity. That is why he got called on it. There is no need for him to try a service that he so obviously owns.

There are 2 red flags you need to be aware of in this case. The first, is that he is using a freemail account. second, he is admitting to being a Kenyan. Why are these red flags?

A free email address used for business does not bode well for the legitimacy of the writer. A legitimate writer will always use a business associated email address, with the domain reference carrying the name of the company. While there is nothing wrong with using a freemail address for personal use, having one for business purposes normally gets associated with hit and rewn companies. You do not want a writer whose email address is deletable. He may take your money but never deliver. His photo could be a franken photo he photoshopped for his own means. It may not be a real picture of him.

Being a Kenyan writer does not automatically make this guy a bad player. However, the reputation of Kenyan writers precedes them in the academic writing field. It carries a bad connotation as they are mostly proven to have no quality when it comes to their product, horrible writing skills, and tend to collect without delivering the paper. No refunds. They are also well known for academic blackmail.

While I do not know this person personally, I would avoid dealing with a Kenyan writer if it can be helped. The choice is yours. There are other far more legitimate writers here that you can deal with.

For a legitimate company, which simply meant that he did not admit to running the business out of a third would country, he sure went out of business Fast enough. The reason? It was hard to keep his con running when he was the only writer in the company. His misrepresentations eventually caught up with him resulting in more lost revenue than earnings. These sorts of people do not understand that there is a lot more to surviving in this business than they care to admit. When overwhelmed, rather than trying to make a go of it, they take what they can and close shop instead. Further limiting the number of scam companies and writers out there.

The landing page of this writing company is nothing but a lie and total BS ! No true Harvard graduate will find himself working as an academic writer or editor. Their students are mostly legacy in nature. Meaning a high powered position awaits them at the family company upon graduation.

Their scholars have jobs waiting for them even before they get their degree certification. They absolutey cannot hire these graduates. If you believe that, then don't complain when you hire them and get 3rd world education level papers at the end.

Harvard should sue the company if you ask me. They are intentionally misrepresenting their services and using the good name of Harvard to do it.

That situation has been prevailing for several months nowso it looks like the name is a hard sell. Whoever decided to squat is losing money on that name purchase by the day.

As for dissertation deal, it offers a layout service before payment. I wondered about what that meant and looked further into it. Turns out that a writer needs to get a writing plan approved by the client for the potential project, before payment and assignment can be completed. Not a bad idea if you ask me. This additional explanation really simplified several questions that I have had for some time now. I've always wondered why, even with the existence of large amounts of evidences against these well known swindlers and swindler companies, none of the cases seem to flourish or, have difficulty in doing so. Turns out, it is all about the location of the crime in relation to law jurisdiction. A legal loophole that is simply too difficult to plug. These are the reasons why students must be truely discerning of a writer or company prior to hiring either for writing services.

I will agree that nobody can tell a student which company is worth the money being paid out to them. I will also agree that the cheaper the company, the higher the possibility that the student will get scammed. I will also agree that there are company representatives in this thread. So, what do I disagree with then? I disagree that we cannot help the student find a good and authentic UK based writing service. This is what we are all here for. To help the students stop second guessing themselves. Why should we be prevented from offering them guidance about how to find the company or writer they can best deal with? We cannot make direct recommendations for a reason. Choosing the company is a personal choice. All we can do is help him figure out what to look for to help qualify the company as "worth it".

Well, I do not believe that all Indians are that well educated. There are still more of them who are educated enough to get by. Those who go to their public schools will be a little educated in English. These mid-range educated students are the ones who go on to become ESL academic writers. I believe that the same can be said of Kenyans as well. Both receive a semblance of education. Both can string together some English sentences, but not enough to qualify as college students or higher.

Their English writing skills are comparable. None better than the other. They can get the job done but not well enough to warrant their cpp charges.

That was not the original intent of the OP but that is what happened just the same. Sometimes, it is best to simply take the information as provided and give a point of view. One that could be used by the students to consider the company should they decide to consider it for their writing needs. Let us never lose sight of the reason why this forum exists. One will not be able to find a reputable essay writing company if he is not willing to spend serious money for the service. Students that run on a tight budget but need writing help are the common victims of these out-of-India writing companies. ESL students hire them because they are affordable, realizing only when it is too late that they should have paid more to get a decent writer to work on their paper. A writing company that charges higher costs tend to have better qualified writers. It is up to the student to ask the right questions to help him decide if the writer and writing company are worth the cost of charges or not.

I tend to disagree with Cite's assumptions. While the Ukranians may have been the first employers of Kenyan writers, they are not the first to scam people. I believe that it was the Kenyans who began the scam game early in the 90's, when postal mail scamming became the norm for Kenyan and Nigerian citizens who were looking to make a quick buck with as little investment on their part as possible. They were one of the earliest scammers in the business. The advent of the internet helped them improve their game by allowing them to create a legitimate persona, through the writing companies, with which to scam people. I know there will be disagreements about who started what and who does it better. I would like to hear other opinions, if there are, from the other members of the forum. What do you think? Did the Ukranians just learn from the Kenyans in this case?

Writing companies and freelancers will automatically consider the level of writing the client needs. This will actually be part of the pricing basis of the paper. However, only a freelancer will actually focus on the writing quality of the client. A freelancer will provide the writing requirement as needed, the writing company will not. The 2 are focused on different things. The company will focus on payment collection only. They will put the order on their server and indicate the need for a masters level writer. That is not an assurance that the client will actually get a masters level writer for his paper though. It just means it was indicated in the order form, which means nothing to the 3rd world writers who are just out to get the job, regardless of whether they qualify to write it or not. It is not like the company will test the writer before assigning the order. That part is pretty much automatic. The writer needs to only click a button to get the order or bid on it. The freelancer? He will consider all aspects of the order before accepting or declining the client. I believe these are the reasons that set apart the 2 types of services. Anybody else agree with me?

Writing Careers / Academia Solutions: any info? [7]

my account won't be active for a month or so because of server problems

There are some instances when this does happen to the new writers of a company. One of these instances is when the company is undergoing a server upgrade or adjustment. It is not something to worry about. It is not an indicator that the company changed their mind about hiring a writer. Rather, it is just part of "housekeeping" as one might term it. The server needs to be cleaned out of junk every so often and retired data needs to be deleted due to server space considerations. While these actions will not affect the regular writers, the new hires may need to wait till their information is properly placed into the system for access. That means, removing old data to make room for new information.

It is the highly technical nature of the crime that appears to make these companies brazen when it comes to scamming the students. It is difficult to file any case against them that will hold up in court. I wish there were a legal loophole that can help the students sue these criminals but there is none. I swear, we need a digital crime court that covers just crimes committed online. The nature of the law must be updated to keep up with modern times. If we have the ICC and International Court of Justice for international crimes, we seriously need one of the international organizations to step up and create an International Internet Court, or something like that.

Make sure that you have clear evidence of the paraphrasing done by the writer. Screenshot the original essay and submit that as evidence once you file your complaint and demand for a refund. If you have not paid for the full paper yet, then do not proceed with the final payment. They definitely betrayed your trust and confidence in this case. The best thing you can do for yourself is file for a full refund and hope you get it as I am sure they have a refund guarantee for the academic papers, specially those that can be proven to be plaigiarized.

As you deal with them, make sure to come back here and start a new thread. Tell us your story. Make sure to indicate the company name and writer identity (if available) to serve as a warning to future students who may wish to procure their services. Making the issue public often results in the company becoming more cooperative towards refunds. Do these simultaneously. That way the company will know you mean business when it comes to your refund demand.

You may also post the original essay and the paraphrased on when you post here to serve as hard evidence of their criminal act. The only way you can deal with them is to try and do damage to their reputation. You can do that only by going public with what happened to you when you used this company.

Unlimited Free Revisions Until You Are Satisfied with your assignment

This is the most obvious red flag about the writing services of a company that I have ever seen. The wording is almost an assurance that the student or professional who hires their services will not be satisfied even after several revisions have been made by the writer. A competent writer will not need to make assurances about revisions because he will get it done right the first time he works on the paper. All he needs to do his job are the accurate instructions and materials from the client. He can work with these, and add his own information if need be, to meet the requirements of the assignment, research paper, or whatever. The guarantee client satisfaction the first time they submit the paper. Any company that immediately assures the student of unlimited revisions until satisfaction is achieved will definitely be asking for a refund. Students can feel free to admit it, haven't you had to request for a refund from writing companies because of the unlimited revision promise? They never deliver right?

The virtual world they exist in practically assures them of that protection.

Not really, justice has a way of catching up with criminals. They can only get away with their crimes for so long before they finally trip themselves up, allowing the law enforcers to finally catch up with them. When that happens, justice will truly be served. We may just now publicly know about the way the ax finally falls upon the heads of these companies, but it does. Afterall, evidence exists of these companies going offline permanently in some cases. Not because they ran out of money, but because of the international lawsuits filed against them.

Maybe FLW, being a law school graduate, or anybody familiar with international business law can clarify a point for me. I have been wondering about how effective the lawsuits that have been filed are in terms of bringing the company owners to physical court. In the case of online companies with international addresses, does the rule about filing a case where the crime was committed hold true? Does it result in any action on the part of the defendant who, in this case, could be facing a case filed in the UK while the office of the company is supposedly located in Greece (for example)?

It appears that the owners of the company are now finding themselves on the receiving end of a DDS attack. The page is impossible to load. The server is not responding. Since an Err: Hostname not resolved page is coming up when I try to access the site, rather the page keeps trying to load, it is highly possible that someone is trying to take the company down. This could be a personally instigated attack on their own server to prevent the students whom they have fooled into hiring them from getting refunds or, they are truly being taken down by competitors or their own upaid writers who happen to have a knack for the dark web. Whatever is truly happening at the moment is none of our business. However, the turn of events prove to be a blessing for the students who might still stumble upon their active url for potential service consideration.
