When it comes to quality writing and excellent client service, custompapers seems to be at the top of their game. I have yet to come across a client of theirs who had any complaints about the work of their writers. However, I have heard of clients that have cheated the company out of their fair income by placing one order and they totally changing the instructions after the paper had been submitted, forcing the writer and the company to take a pay cut to satisfy the bait and switch client. When you are dealing with an on the level company, you should treat the company in the same manner. Do not take advantage of them or their writers.

Essay Services / SCAM ALERT: essayssos.com [11]

Please note the way that the company blurb is all messed up. It is missing punctuation marks in some sentences and paragraphs. It also sounds like it was written by an ESL writer for the most part. Either it was written by an ESL writer or, the poor writer was forced to write SEO keywords in a very uncomfortable manner. It was probably uncomfortable for him not being a native English speaker. Anyway, they offer unlimited revision services. This is an offer that I have begin to question lately. Shouldn't there be a limitation the revisions to be applied to an order? I mean, if you have done 12 revisions and you still haven't delivered as expected by the client, then you have no business working in the academic writing field. You should be getting it right the first time.

The URL directs to a hiring page. Even though they are one of the few academic writing companies that can somehow still manage to hire writers, I would not advise that any academic writer looking to break into the market apply at this company. Their rates are simply too low for them to hire quality writers. I am sure Freelancewriter will back me up on this. Their rates are not realistic for a talented and experienced writer. These are the prices normally paid out to 3rd world writers who would consider themselves lucky to be working in this field. Not that they would be very good at it.

Both websites contain a tremendous number of red flags if you stop to consider the way that their anchor pages are written. UK-Dissertation being the biggest culprit in this case because their copy is written to form a click bait for the SEO algorithm. The way the keywords are used haphazardly tells me that they had this copy written by 3rd world writers. The evidence is right there. The writer had no idea how to smoothly use the keywords in proper English, without sounding like it was written by the worst AI app available. Do not hire either website. A-Writer is only slightly better than the previous one, but not to a great extent. They are not the time it will take to read their outrageous claims.

This company seems to be in some sort of financial trouble. The main url redirects to a Not Hiring page. Which tells me that the company is about to go under. They are not hiring for a reason. Perhaps it is because they are not receiving enough orders to warrant new hires or, they are planning to shut down the company because they cannot bring in clients or, they end up refunding so much of their accepted orders that they have spent their capital already. Where there is no revolving capital, they cannot be an active business. Consider yourself lucky to not have been hired by this company. It sounds like they were scamming the students and the writers simultaneously.

Students have been known to resell their own papers to their classmates and fellow students which is why there are some companies, who have experienced such incidents, tend to charge for a revision when the student wants too many alterations done to the paper. The assumption is that the student is asking for these specific changes to make the paper different enough from his first order so that he can sell it to a buyer. While it is incorrect for companies to charge for these revisions, the fact that some students tend to abuse the free revision policies makes it necessary for some companies to do so.

The first few listed websites are offline already. The only one that connects to one confusing Malaysia based website is premiumhelp. The website seems to be a placeholder for something. I cannot be sure about what business it is actually engaged in. It first appeared to be a blogsite for receipes, eventually evolving into a casino and adult entertainment blogging instructional site. Whatever. At least it is no longer involved in the academic writing business. The other partner corporations are either trying to sell the domain name or, have gone totally offline, without a domain name sell in place.

Right now, writing companies are bleeding "freelance" writers that they are partnered with. The writers are opting to not use their accounts with these companies as their minds are now coming to the realization that they can actually cut out the middleman and become true freelance academic writers. They are strongly utilizing the power of forums such as EssayScam and social media channels, advertise their trade. Those who are good at their job find great success as independent writers. Those who are mediocre, end up leaving the business altogether because their only option to make money is to blackmail the students who mistakenly hire them due to their cheap prices and out of this world quality promises.

Essay Services / Edusson.com - FRAUD! Beware! [6]

Edusson.com is now out of business. Entering the URL into the address box returns an "Address Not Found" message. So the company went out of business. I am sure a lot of students are happy that the company is no longer in existence considering how fraudulent their business model is. I believe that the company was able to return such fast responses to the OP because they were dabbling with an earlier form of AI at the time. It is not that the writer's did not exist, it is that the company had a list of preferred writers who get first dibs on all orders. The system was designed to get the orders for their "best" writers, which would have then been assigned as a "Special Request" order with the actual writer.

Writing Careers / Is your customer not your Gem? [6]

Clients in the academic writing world, or any business for that matter, is considered a valuable gem. Without them, the business would cease to exist. So I do not understand why the OP asked this question. Why would the client not be the gem of the writer? Why would they be treated other than that highly important person upon whose mercy the income of the company or freelancer is dependent upon? It doesn't make any sense. That was perhaps meant to be a rhetorical question?

When the first thing an academic writing company hits you with is a page computation, you already know what their business model is about. They are all about the money, not the quality of the paper. They want to know what they can get out of you, not what they can do for you. Then, as you read on, you will see that they are offering discounts on the first paper you will be ordering. That is a red flag. They will do anything to get your business. As far as I am concerned, a discount on the first order is a red flag because you have not even tried the writing acumen of their writer yet. A discount should only be provided by a writer or a company for repeat clients who show a high degree of satisfaction with the papers and client service interaction that they have had with the company.

Essay Services / EssayWriter.co.uk warning! [6]

Do not be fooled by the glossy website that this company has. They charge in British Pounds for work that is done out of a 3rd world country. There is nothing in their blurbs that would prove their ability to accomplish the complex type of writing that the UK educational system requires. They are not using UK educated, or properly educated writers, for that matter. That is why nobody can expect their output to meet the grading standards of the country. It is important to hire a company or a writer that can prove a track record of writing complicated UK academic standard essays or research papers. As for evidence of these accomplishments. Make sure that they meet the UK standards and can actually deliver the grades that you require.

Uh, you have not provided enough information for the people visiting this forum to reach the website you are advertising. If you do not give the URL, there is no way the users can find your website with such a generic sounding name. CV? That is so common that it cannot be used as a domain name. You may have just messed up your advertisement which, by the way, is not in the correct section of this forum. Writing Careers is meant for writers who are interested in getting started in the business. It is not for company representatives to sell their websites. Something which you failed to do with your post.

It's a dead link. It does not exist. I am not sure why you are building up that site considering that you have listed yourself as a freelance writer. You do not want students to use such links and resources, which would defeat the purpose of your being at this forum. The purpose being that you are trying to attract clients for yourself as a writer. Or are you an academic writing site promoter who messed up his advertisement posting? You sound more like a salesperson actually than a writer who is looking out for students and their academic writing welfare.

There is always the vocational or technical school alternative to college. You still get a degree but you do not have to waste too much time in the academic world, which can truly be costly for most people. Getting a license in a technical job can actually be seen as more value for the money spent studying and training in this case. Those who have a vocational or technical license tend to start earning faster than their college counterparts. It is also important to mention that companies have a preference for those with trained skills these days as opposed to the intellectual college types.

Writing Careers / Eduwriters, do they pay? [23]

@unknown1 All the more you can ignore them in this case. If the company has a new domain name and email address then they have no right to continue to harass you. They are not a legitimate business whose losses were purchased by the new owner and as such, they have a right to collect on. If the original company no longer exists then, the debt is erased. Am I right @Freelancewriter? So their blackmail demands can be safely ignored and disregarded. They cannot harm you in any way.

I do not see the need for a professional writer to come up with a creative way of writing a resume for an applicant. There are way many more ways to accomplish that without having to spend for a creative way of presenting the information. Templates comes in free and paid forms for resumes, Even AI can generate a creative looking resume for someone who provides it with enough information to create one. It would be a waste of money to hire someone to create a resume for you since you are the only one who can appropriately and accurately represent your credentials in written form. It is not something that requires a writer to work on it. The formats that Canva comes up with for resumes are very creative and engaging.

Has anybody bothered to read the blurb on the company website? It is ESL writing at its worst. This should be taken as an example of their writer output. If you are an ENL, then you should definitely NOT hire this company. Stay away from their ESL writers who are sure to mess up your paper. If you are ESL student, hire this company with caution. You may be able to do a better job of writing an insightful paper with your basic English language skills that the writers of this company.

The fact that this company does not even pretend to be authoritative in the field of academic essay writer is a definite red flag. The minute the anchor page loads, you will be met with the price calculator and several other cost related information. There is nothing about the actual quality of work or similar related information until you scroll down to almost the bottom of the page. A person who scrutinizes what they have written will see right through their lies and know that engaging the company to write their paper will be a problem in the future. They are more focused on making you believe that they are cost effective rather than quality conscious. Between those 2 choices, which do you, as the student, think should be the priority for consideration when hiring a writing company?

This one time that I am siding with AI developed quick notes for students. There is no need to spend hundreds of dollars on previously written papers when you can enter a few keywords in Gemini, ChatGPT, or some other app, and have it come back to you with a proper overview of the topic that you want to learn about. That will definitely provide you with updated information and you will not have spent a single dime to have received the information.

Before things get out of hand in this thread, it is important to take note of what academic writing websites could still pose a problem for students and those that no longer pose a threat to them. Papers4you.com is one of the writing site that is no longer a danger to them since the domain name is now up for sale and seems to have been on sale for almost a year or so now. There are no takers for the domain name for some reason. I have sponge to some domain name sellers who believe that the reason writing company domain names are not selling as briskly as they would before is because the investors know that AI have cut into the business and the students tend to shy away from using writing companies in favor of AI. So while we are glad that that students are now safe from crimes that these companies normally engage in, we are saddened by the fact that they cannot tell the difference between a well written paper by a human and the trash that AI produces.

Pre-written papers have totally lost their value in the time of AI. It is understood that students can get a pre-written paper via the AI app, which will give them a somewhat originally written draft that they can base their actual essay, research paper, or thesis on. The AI written work is not to be submitted for a grade because the professors can sense that a mile away. The main problem with the pre-written AI paper is that it will most likely return plagiarized content, without ever telling the student where that bit of plagiarized, cut and paste information came from.

If it oftentimes not even necessary to use an app to detect AI. Sometimes, it is just so obvious to the seasoned teachers and writers. The fact that AI tends to write in a more casual, rather than academic tone is always a dead giveaway. Then, there are the redundant statements that the program uses to meet the word count as specified by the student. it is really becoming easier and easier to spot the difference between a paper written by a human being, and one written by an AI. The problem, is that students are so lazy that they do not even want to edit the AI manufactured paper to give it a more academic feel.

The cost for the ghost writer should also be based upon the writing experience of the human being. While there are some people who rely on AI for ghost writing these days, they have found that it is not always a good option because "I could have done better writing it myself". Let's face it, AI is manned by people on the other end. They are the ones that feed information to the AI. So what benefit does AI give you that a human being cannot deliver in a better and more accurate form?

Nobody said that traditional business models or, whatever works for you is wrong. It is just that the students these days look at other venues that are more fun and interactive for all things, including hiring writers. Audience engagement is a big deal and that is normally how the scam companies get hired by the students. It is not a reliable method of vetting writers but sometimes, the students get lucky in terms of writers they hire. Old school has its benefits and always will. Sadly, the students tend to laugh at the old ways these days, but will use it when pressed for time or if they truly trust the person doing the referral. Lucky you to have an old promotional channel that still works for you.

The spammers come out of Nigeria or Kenya. They are trying to pollute this forum with nonsense because they need the forum to shut down. Even in the age of AI, students still come here to look for information about actual companies and writers. Yes, not all the students are relying on AI at this point. They are becoming cognizant of the shortcomings of AI and need guidance when hiring writers. So I agree that we need to still be strict in terms of validating the members of this forum. Personally, I would rather than the admin block the IP's from Kenya and Nigeria since they are usually up to no good at this forum.

That's a good idea but, seeing how quiet and lacking in new interaction the forum is right now, maybe doing those things is not the owners or moderators priority at the moment. I think they should focus on their engagement numbers right now. We need more participants here to combat the AI trend and bring liveliness to the forum, even if it means having fights in threads like before. That at least proved writing abilities on the part of the writer member.

I am wondering about how customwritings can assure their clients that the paper will not be AI generated. Let us say, for the sake of arguement that the company does not promote the use of AI among it's writers and they do not have proprietorial software to do that task. How sure are they that the assigned writer will not use his own paid AI subscription or a free version to make his job easier, but incorrect? I do not think they are doing themselves a favor making such public claims on their website. They do not have total control over their writes when it comes to paper development.

It appears to me that there is only 1 competent writer still actively seeking out clients at this forum and that is Freelancewriter. There does not seem to be any fight or war between writers these days since the others seem to have left the forum for some reason, leaving Freelancewriter as the victorious legitimate writer still using this forum for the purpose it was created, in terms of writer purposes. While the directory and chat are still listing some writers, not all of them are still active in the field and some, have evolved into other professions. Anybody interested in having a pool of writers to choose from can try contacting those other writers, along with Freeleancewriter. Get the best bid that you can based on your negotiation skills. It is possible to find a competent writer, provided the student is willing to put in the time to track one down.

Complementary rules:

I see a problem with these complimentary requirements in that the admin and owner of this website would have to invest in new coding to make these safeguards happen. It is going to be costly for them to hire a coder and test the system, not to mention the upgrades they would have to do to the existing system to make these changes work. It is easier said than done. The forum, as far as I know does not have any actual sponsorships aside from Google Ads and the premium membership fees that are charged. So the company is barely making any money keeping this forum afloat. I believe that the current safety measures are good enough. The trolls will eventually leave anyway.

This sounds like the typical modus of the scam essay writing companies. They try to blackmail the person after the service has been completed hoping to get more money for the paper through threats of exposure and expulsion from the university. While the OP sounded like she had a pretty good legal team in place to help her and stragetize her defense, I bet that the OP went radio silent because they realized that the company on the other end was non-existent in the sense that the office address does not exist and any email was pinged all over the globe, and the phone number was a VoIP that could not be traced. In other words, the company in question was a phantom. Therefore, there would be no legal remedy for what the OP was experiencing except to ride it out and hope that the company got tired of harassing him/her.

For a minute there I thought the URL referred to the website of Freelancewriter. Turns out this pointed to someone else, but with a similar sounding name. I was pleased to see that the domain returned a Server Not Found response. That means the company is out of business. Which probably happened because, and I am guessing about this, they tried to capitalize on the name of Freelancewriter and failed to do so. Since the company claimed to be located in the UK, I am sure that this company was based out of Middle East instead, as most of these academic writing companies are when claiming to be in the UK.

I consider it a good thing that the writing company in question is no longer active. The domain name is actually up for sale now, indicating that the original company owners are still trying to cut their losses by selling the name to an unsuspecting possible academic writing business owner. We can only hope that no person touches this company url so that the company and its image can eventually fade into oblivion.

You have to understand that these writing companies, specially those that pose as niche specific companies are usually scam artists of the highest degree. They do not have actual nurses writing the papers for their students and they do not have any intention of delivering a well developed nursing paper for the client either. Your best bet would be to find an independent writer who has a nursing background and has the ability to actually turn in these quality papers while also attending to his regular job as a nurse.

essayshark.com.DND does exactly what their name describes. They are sharks in the academic waters. They go for the jugular with their clients to collect fees that they are not entitled to. The work of their writers further reinforces this idea as they provide shoddy services to clients who pay unreasonable prices, hoping that the quality of work is equally to the amount they paid. Instead, they receive work that could have just been written by an AI, since it is obviously a brainless piece of writing. I have yet to hear of a client that the company actually refunded a piece of work for based on the lack of quality writing.

Be careful when hiring dissertation writers these days. I have personal knowledge of some independent writers who actually use AI to assist them with their hired dissertation writing. The independent writers are also becoming AI reliant these days, charging a premium but doing almost no work. They just edit the AI work as it spews it out, usually not meeting the client requirements in the process. Make sure that you will hire a dissertation writer who will actually do the job without the use of AI. Someone who still takes pride in doing the actual work that he is paid a premium price to do so.

I have absolutely no idea what a boutique essay writing company is all about. What does that mean? Are they trying to create an imaginary elevated standard for their writing company? I am speaking of essaypedia.com at this point which is the surviving of the 2 essay writing companies. What worries me is that they have 2 separate email addresses for their clients. One for business inquiries and the other, is a dedicated email address just to handle complaints. How many complaints to they need to resolve within a day that it requires a dedicated department to handle the influx of emails? That is something that makes me suspicious about the quality of their "botique" writing services.

Websites are a thing of the past. These days, social media is the best way to promote yourself as a start up essay company. This is something you can do alongside word of mouth promotion at your school. Work with the crowd that knows you. Convince your classmates to give you a shot rather than using an AI immediately. Do some research on why hiring a human writer will always be better than using an AI to complete the school work. If you are convincing enough, you should be able to convince at least a few students to give you a shot. That is all the start that you need. Once you have a few satisfied clients, look into self promotion via social media.

Companies tend to charge less these days because they are trying to get business away from the students who are using AI for their essay writing. These companies believe that charging less is the best way to handle the AI situation. They refuse to admit that the problem they have when it comes to getting and keeping clients is that their writers are not very good. So, they charge less and at the same time, deliver sub par service. As far as an independent writer is concerned though, he can charge highly for his services depending upon the length of time he has been in the business and his client retention basis. An independent writer can offer discounts to repeat clients, depending upon their discussions and agreements. You pay for quality service in this case so expect to pay an independent writer more, even at a discounted rate.

Even an amateur can publish online these days provided they are dedicated to self promotion of their work via social media. The problem is not becoming a writer, the problem is the promotion method. It does not take a lot to finish a book as a writer, it does take patience and planning to sell the book and market yourself as a credible and interesting writer.

I am not sure if I can trust your insight regarding the topic since you mixed up essay writing and book writing in your post. That does not speak well of you as a writer. You cannot even tell the difference between the 2 markets and yet you dared to give advice about writing? Oh boy! Wow!

It is difficult to recommend a genuine UK writing service because most of the site that claim to be UK based are actually coming out of the Middle East or Asia. Pakistan and India are the biggest illegal location claimers. It would be best not to deal with any writing company claiming to be based out of the UK since the UK also has government sanctioned academic writing laws that the writers from these countries may not know about. Your best best would be to hire independent writers who can prove their actual location, being as far away from the UK as possible so you can skirt the law somehow. Just make sure the writer knows how to write using UK academic writing standards.
