Some customers believe that that they have not just purchase a service, but an academic writer-slave. They expect their slave to be at their beck and call 24/7 and, upon demand, jump through rings of fire.

A couple of days ago, this supposedly mature 50+ PhD customer instructed the writer to correspond with his/her thesis supervisor as if he were the customer him/herself. The writer refused and the customer had (what can only be described as) a psychotic meltdown. To say that she was abusive would be an understatement. We intervened on the side of the writer (the poor guy was really very polite throughout), cancelled the order and refunded the psycho. At the last count, 23 abusive emails to support. Last one was "jump in a lake you vindictive b@$%ch."

Customers - be nice. Few are going to allow you to abuse their writers. At the end of the day, a good writer is more valuable to us (companies in this business) than is one customer. Yes, we certainly value you and will do all that is possible to ensure your satisfaction, but WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO BE RUDE TO YOUR WRITER.

Why do you always have to subject us to AA and ET slamming during the high season? Do you really believe that you will drive their customers to your sites?? Neither of them would be where it is today if the greater MAJORITY of their customers and writers were not happy and satisfied.

To the real students out there, ignore dreamer. S/he poses as both a student and writer. It appears that s/he has no qualms about writing essays which will effect the marks of others but, dare not risk her own.

The company she is referring to is ET (one of the companies on the Do Not Discuss list). Contrary to dreamer's tired and boring line, ET does not own this forum. Essay Scam is owned by a different company altogether. If dreamer knew how to use google, s/he would have stumbled across that piece of info a very long time ago.

To the real students - do not believe any who PM you their recommendations. While a handful of the PM's you receive may be from genuine students, most will be from writers/companies posing as students.

Use your own judgement, please, and ignore all PM recommendations.

You're definitely entitled to a refund and need to pursue it. You have two options:
1) contact your credit card company (assuming that it was a CC payment) and request a CHARGEBACK. Tell them that the service/good ordered was not delivered. If through PayPal, do the same.

2) take a look your payment receipt - who's their payment processor? If you can find that out, all you need to do is contact them, report the vendor as fraudulent and cite the order # as it appears on the receipt.

Had you taken the time to read through some of the posts here, you would have discovered that there are two types of companies in this industry:

1) Legitimate: In the minority, this group of companies are completely opposed to customers submitting the research as their own. They are very explicit about this. They intend their work to be used as a model upon which the customer may base his/her own study. Why would customers order from these companies, despite their non-submission policy? The customer uses the sources employed in the model research, thereby saving him/her the time and effort which goes into the collection and annotation of references; the customer receives access to a non-plagiarised model study which directly and specifically addresses his/her topic, thereby clarifying the issues to be investigated and giving the student a detailed research outline to follow, etc. These companies have very strict recruitment policies and only hire academically and linguistically qualified writers. They scam neither customers nor writers.

2) Illegitimate: The majority. They do not give a fig about customers' submitting the work as their own; they hire every Tom, Dick and Harry they come across, irrespective of any and all qualifications; they lie about their writers' qualifications; they are dishonest with both customers and writers.

You, Maxie, simply assumed that we are all part of the second group and when WB corrected you, you persisted.

A couple of questions:
1) didn't you come here and accuse us of being fraudsters (very first post)? This post was based upon an ignorant assumption.
2) didn't you challenge us to identify the errors in your post (second post)? This post was condescending.

Maxie - you chose to enter this forum through the kitchen and now can't take the heat.

Chocolate - when working with Academia-Research and all those other awful ones, you have to keep records:
1) Screen shots of the order board
2) Screen shots of your payment screen
3) NEVER delete the papers until after payment


You should get paid for these two, at the very least.

Try writing to them again and cc vendors@swreg.org (their payment processor). Swreg cannot issue your payment but the more they come across complaints from writers/customers, the less likely they are to continue their association with Academia-Research.
