honestly, like queen sheba mentioned, you'd probably be best served finding a freelance writer from essaychat and seeing if they'll break the order down into installments you can check the progress on; this way you get to work directly with the writer and don't have to pay the full company price. interview the person beforehand to get a feel for things.

otherwise there are a number of reputable companies, but you get what you pay for in nearly all situations.

For the most part yes, but you definitely need to be careful. There are widely varying quality expectations for students and just because someone posts an add on essaychat or gets their company in essaydirectory, does not necessarily mean they can provide you with what you need. Still, you should be safe when you work with the ones suggested here. They are not scam.

It's very easy for anyone to set up a semi-professional looking website now and claim to be a serious writing company. I seriously doubt there are less essay orders, particularly as the economy has supposedly gotten better over the last few years and the government is still handing out 20k in student loans to whoever has a high school diploma. There are just too many poor quality, low cost writers taking business away from the few quality freelancers and companies.

I don't necessarily disagree with you, and it's interesting to get the perspectives from some of experienced people in the industry on this topic, like Major and Professor Verb.

But what you're saying is also a little conflicting. On one hand you're complaining about the poor wages and work available, but then on the other saying that half of the year there is such an abundance of work you can't even handle it all. Was there ever really a time when down months like August (and even September to some degree) were considerably more profitable than they were now? Maybe when October hits you'll think differently :)

I'm also a little worried about the ITT shutdown, but I'm assuming those students are just going to attend different institutions.

It's still sort of slow for another month, so I thought I would ask people (writers and editors) what project they completed that they felt was most impressive or that they were the most satisfied with?

I know I'm far from the fastest writer, so I can only imagine some of the feats that have been accomplished by other writers...

For me, I'm most proud about 100+ pages of model dissertation research on a political science topic. I took a few months on-and-off and I took less money than normal to complete it, but I appreciated the intellectual challenge and overall positive brainstorming time.

In terms of efficiency, one weekend a customer needed me to produce 50 pages of graduate-level content for interviews that were supposed to have been conducted with dissidents from Afghanistan. It involved writing non-stop all weekend and pushing my imagination to its limits, like I was writing a screenplay (on-top of a few other assignments). I'm still amazed at it all coming together and everyone being happy.

What do you make of the leading writer income stats page? They also have the upgraded writer accounts for dedicated writers. It seems like if someone really wanted to give themselves over to the company they might be able to squeak out an okay income, provided they can write efficiently.

that's a pretty solid quantitative analysis of that board. i often wondered whether or not groups were the one's getting those top slots. 20 pages per day for 30 days straight would be a serious feat, and that wasn't even writing season! they did that in august. who writes that many pages per day in August??

I'm starting to agree with DD on this. It seems like there's a race to the button in terms of sacrificing quality for price or sheer production with a lot of companies that's more severe than in the past, making it increasingly difficult for students to find the few companies and solo writers that uphold standards acceptable for most American and British universities.

Finding a writer that fits your scholastic needs can be a challenging process with all of the competition in the industry, so I prefer to give discounts to students on their first order so they can have confidence and feel good about the partnership. If it's a subject I'm very interested in, I also sometimes take on the work for a reduced price.

Man that's rough. Have you tried calling them or something? Maybe you could try and register that email as a Paypal address and get more aggressive about asking for payment. I've noticed the company doesn't pay exceptionally well, but they've at least made themselves available when necessary.

I've noticed a lot of British work, particularly in literature courses, has the expectation that the student was involved in the class and can reflect this knowledge in essays meaningfully. This makes it a lot more challenging for an academic writer to step-in and use their own education and experience to produce quality research. It's also probably one of the reasons the prices for British essays from a lot of sites are considerably more than other countries.
