Essay Services / is writemyessayonline.com legit? [20]

I hope that anybody considering this service based upon the website presentation notices the most glaring shortcoming of this company. They do not offer any kind of online support system for the clients. There is no listing of a phone number, email, or chat window. That is definitely the biggest red flag that you should be considering with regards to this company. You will basically place your order without any support system from the company, which does not bode well for their writer communication system as well. Remember that you will get what you pay for. In this case, the low prices coincide with the lack of client support. Think twice. This is not the service for any student, even if the deal is highly enticing.

@Kranika why would you have to check on your profile being logged in or not? Did you accidentally violate any of the forum rules and receive a warning? The instructions you were given for checking are accurate. Posting without meaning is actually a forum rule violation that could get your account suspended due to suspected spamming. I would not check my online status here that way too often if I were you.

When a company makes promises about transparency and client cooperation, consider those red flags. High trust rating from Site Jabber and Trust Pilot are also warning signs that this is a company that pays for its ratings. I don't know why but I find their promises of transparency and reliable client services to be questionable. Perhaps it is because they sound too good to be true and where I come from, if it sounds too good to be true, then you can bet it is something you have to question.

You need to provide more specifics than that to convince the students not to use the service. Your complaint is literally a cut and paste of complaints about PaperOwls.com and every othe scam service out there. If you truly want to cwnt and help the students at the same time then describe the customer service experience for their guidance.

There is no reason to trust any app, regardless of the source country, when it comes to privacy concerns. That is why Facebook and Google, among other big name companies, have come under international privacy lawsuits. They simply do not understand how borders work. Collecting personal data is something that should have a border, but we are all seemingly willing to surrender it in exchange for a chance to use something for free. Pakistan is notorious for privacy infringement, so trust them at your own risk. You should know that you are risking your private data with any company that offers a "free" or "trial" service. Nothing ever truly comes for free.

There are way too many start up AI companies out that that over promise and under deliver. This AI company is one of those that falls under this category. Do not forget that AI can be trained to do anything and track anything by the people writing the code. So it would be best for students to stick with the mainstream and better known AI writing assistants. Remember, that you are providing information to these companies when you sign up for the free service or trial. Be careful with your personal information. It will only be a matter of time before these fake AI companies start to blackmail the students that use the service because they did not know any better.

AI works based on the prompts or keywords that it is provided with. That is what causes the hallucinations in its writing output. It was never meant to write an original paper on its own. It is only a writing assistant. It is not capable of writing in the way that a human can. The hallucination is the end result of limited keywords, writing prompts, and instructions regarding the content it should have. In order to properly use AI as a writing tool, the student must first, know how to write a paper or do research himself. AI works like any computer that relies on coding. Garbage in, garbage out.

The domain name is actually still active 4 years after the post of Cite. It is still in the same limbo status. The URL is active but not connected to an anchor page on an existing server. Why the owners continue to reserve the name is beyond logic and reason now. Its been 4 years. They should have made a decision by now. Either let the domain name go or restart the writing company. For some reason, they cannot make a decision that should be simple enough to make. Checking the URL now just ends up at a page that says "Web". That message does not make sense to anybody.

We actually have some 20 plus years academic writing veterans at this forum who have been proving everything that you just said to be true. The only difference is that they are not trying to moslead students into hiring someone from a qeel known problematic writing company. They function on integrity and word of mouth positive recommendations instead. How I wish you had been one of the true academic writers with integrity at this forum. My heart sank when I read the advertising at the end of your post. How can the students be sure that they can trust you when your avademic writing company recommendation cannot be trusted?

I do not understand why students keep placing their trust in AI generated papers. Even the creators of the technology, every single company owner from ChatGPT all the way to Meta admit that AI is far from perfect, cannot be relied upon for 100% accuracy, and is not capable of writing quality work for the next 4 years at least, and advice everyone to use it for image generation rather than text content generation for now. Do not pay for AI "premium" features when you can get the same crap for free from the other AI pioneer apps out there. If you want a properly researched, referenced, formatted, and high quality paper developed for you, stop being a cheapskate and hire an actual, flesh and blood writer who has a decent track record of producing quality work for students. That is the only way to actually get your monies worth for writing services.

I see that the company is a member of the once trustworthy review companies / websites Sitejabber and Reviews.io. They are paying for those positive ratings and stars. I used to say that these companies give an honest review of the academic writing companies, not anymore. These companies now allow companies to pay to advertise there. So they are given the opportunity to post glowing self-serving reviews of the company at the said site. I hope that you were not one of those who found themselves misled by the paid reviews and ratings. Once a student sees that the site gets a high rating from these sites, they should think twice about hiring the service. It is most likely going to be a scam.

Essay Services / PhD services - dissertations.com? [26]

The company has been reincarnated under the same name, but a different purpose at present. A quick search of this domain name returned a link for a dissertation repository site where they claim to have millions of published and unpublished dissertations on file, ready for (paid) referencing of masters and PhD students. I would not give much stock to their current claims. They are being too boastful regarding the support they receive from questionable companies. I mean, legitimate and authoritative companies will never associate with questionable dissertation repositories. It does not work that way. These are kept in published journals or in the university libraries under hard or electronic copy formats for the reference of students.

I think the OP was hoping to get private messages from students who were looking for dependable academic writing services. I agree that he was not prepared for the onslaught of negativity that followed from the (then) threatened independent writers and company representatives. Students who may have had an interest in his services would have been scared off and taken their business elsewhere to avoid being attacked themselves. Too bad, the OP sounded like a nice guy who was just trying to make a living. He obviously could not afford the advertising fees at this forum so he tried to advertise his services in a different way. It was a bad move at the time.

Gone are the days when writer's would outsource papers that they could not write to other writers or writing companies. These days, there are some lazy, 3rd world writers who will just turn to AI to write the paper for them, which they then turn over to the clients as a fresh paper. That is why students need to be wise these days when hiring independent writers or writing companies. Make sure that he won't just use an AI to write your paper and then charge you for it. You could do that for free using any of the openly available, legitimate AI apps in the market.

Believe it or not, the guys that run custompapers.com are so nice, kind, and fair that cunning students take advantage of them at times. I have recently heard of a situation where a student pulled a bait and switch on them. The student provided instructions and asked for a price quotation from one of their writer's, who gave a fair bid. Then the student agreed to the price and the order went through. After the deal was completed, the student pulled the bait and switch, demanding a refund. The company bent over backwards to accommodate said student, even though they knew the student was going to one up them. The management let is slide so as not to affect the overall image of the company. So yeah, all students have a good experience with the company. It is the company, in this case, that needs to learn to protect themselves against students with bad intentions.

Since you are a company representative who is obviously NOT based in Australia, I do not believe that any student here should take your unsolicited advice. You are simply stating an opinion of a competitor company, without offering any solid evidence to support your claim. This nullifies your claim asking the students to never use the service. If you cannot offer any impartial evidence to prove any negative claims, then do not attack the company at this forum. The discussions here and advice to avoid companies are always based on facts instead of "take my word for it" claims such as yours.

I don't know. I find the credibility of this Nicola Davies to be questionable. It seems like an actual fact checking on her background should be done. I mean, can we really trust a person who claims to be a mental healthcare professional but also writes academic papers for others? A psychologist for hire? Was she even really hired by all these productions? Do they even know they are being used as references to sell this person to potential clients? I would pull back and rethink hiring such a person's services because, if she can be so open about what should be confidential hiring matters, then how sure am I that my sessions will also remain a secret or, that she won't resell the paper I paid her to write in the future? There is something very wrong about this person's background and business set up.

While you guys were busy in-fighting, the company being mentioned by the OP actually disappeared from existence. I could not find a trace of the company online in any search engine, social media channel, or YouTube channel. So there is no reason for this thread to even be existing. I mean, did the admin not notice how the discussion in this thread got out of hand? Yet they allowed it to continue. The discussions even went off topic already and yet nobody took any action. personal insults were hurled and fights ensued but no referee came to stop the chaos. Let's try to get this forum back to the respected state it once had. I really think that the slurs contained in the posts is the main reason that students eventually decided to just stalk the forum rather than participate in it.

Come on, you cannot possible expect to get a properly written essay out of a program that asks you to input the title of your paper and then wait as it scours the web for information to create your paper. That is asking for trouble. You are not going to get any sort of proper paper out of that service. AI is capable of looking for information in the manner that a search engine would. It is not capable of writing the paper for you because it does not have the ability to consider several important aspects when it comes to academic writing or research. I can't understand what would make you pay for a paper written by an AI either, the AI doesn't get paid for the work and you should not have to pay the developer for the coding work that he did on the app. AI will forever be in beta mode as far as essay writing is concerned.

The most prudent option when it comes to having academic papers written is still to go with a human writer. The lack of logic and ability to discern fake information from reliable information will forever be a problem for AI, but will never be a problem for human writers. Get real. AI is not the solution to academic writing woes. It is a new platform where new academic woes will be created. It is always best to remain with the human side when it comes to writing services. The reason you hire a writer is to eliminate the need to fact check and write the paper yourself. Things you have to do when an AI develops the paper for you. It may be free, but it is troublesome to use.

All of these AI apps act like they are the best in the market. These AI are being fine tuned by humans on the other end so do not be so impressed by the performance of an AI when it comes to research and output. There is still a human factor involved, you just do not see it. The apps are only as good as the researcher and fact checker assigned to it. Trash in, trash out. That is how the AI works. That is the main reason why I believe there will never be a top AI pick when it comes to actual research and writing. It is good for digital renderings but nothing more. A human writer will trump an AI at any given time.

@formerstudent I agree that there are more affordable digital payment channels existing today. There are even country based ewallets that allow for remittance payments at this point. So PayPal is really facing stiff competition. They are not out of the game though. Even with their steep middleman fees there are still those who prefer to use this traditional payment channel because of (1) tradition, (2) familiarity, (3) country remittance partners. The other players have yet to break into the international payments market. PayPal's stiffest competition, as far as I can tell, is Payoneer which offers its own atm / debit card to properly registered business partners.

@FreelanceWriter Do you know of any common loopholes when dealing with writing companies or independent writers that students should know about when they want to pay via PayPal? I am sure they would appreciate someone guiding them in terms of avoiding the pitfalls of digital payments in the academic writing industry. You, being the most seasoned independent writer here should be able to mention a few PayPal tricks that would help them avoid getting scammed when it comes to using the payment channel.

Unfortunately, we are denying your claim because your purchase was for a virtual, digital, or intangible item.

The last time I checked, Paypal already covered intangible items such as digital purchases and virtual services. There is a refund process now available for these possible payment problems. Paypal used to refuse to cover these sorts of purchases but since the claims were piling up, they had to create a policy that would protect the buyers of virtual services. They were losing clients fast because their policies were not keeping up with the times. That is why students who get scammed via PayPal can now transact confidently. They can get their money back if scammed by a writer provided they have proper documentation to prove their claim.

They claim that they offer "... free rework for every solution in case you find any requirement not met in your solution." What? I got confused by that statement. So they admit even beforehand that their writers will not be doing a good job on your paper? With the halfway review policy, you would think that such a situation can be avoided early on in the writing process. Also, I do not believe that they do not keep your payment information on file. It is not possible for that to happen since they will be notified once you make your payment. What they do with the information after the order is closed that I am worried about.

The company is no longer offering academic writing services. In fact, it has evolved into an UpWork type of company that offers its services to professionals looking for ghost writers or collaborators. They charge a fee for every successful partnership produced. While students can still use these services if they wish to, the company itself no longer caters to just a student clientele. Instead, they are focusing their resources on teaming up the needs of their clients with the skills of their registered writers. That should limit the scam and fake writers that a professional looking for a collaborator might come across.

The 2 companies are actually owned by the same person. However, only the former company is still in existence. They have changed their business presentation from research writing to assignment help. Which is probably a more cost efficient way to run their company, provided the tutors they have online are actually experts in the subjects that they claim to help the students in. At least the students pay by question so, if they are not satisfied with the response they get, they do not have to continue using the service. It may not be a US based company but at least they are not trying to write full papers for unsuspecting students anymore.

Essay Services / is tutorspoint.com a scam site? [14]

I have no idea why a student would even consider hiring this company. They cannot even get their own blurbs right. The fact that their copy is nonsensical, does not use punctuation marks, and sounds like it was written by a beginner ESL should be considered the red flags that inform you not to hire their services. Remember that their website is a live sample of how their writers produce content for you. In this case, it is pretty obvious that they cannot produce even the most basic of good quality content for any student. It is safe to say that this is one scam site that somehow manages to stay in the business. I would say do not hire them for any purpose.

A decade later and the code writing company is still an active participant in the computer coding assignment business. They must be doing something right or they would have been closed down long ago. I did notice though that their text is mostly SEO friendly to ensure that they get the right kind of student clients for their business. I acknowledge that coding is a difficult task even for the most avid coder so they have probably cornered a niche market right there. AI cannot write code properly as of now so programming students cannot rely on an automated code creator at this point. Human writers who are experts in coding will still prevail in this market. I just hope the company is already treating their clients properly so that they will not close shop because of scam accusations.

@FreelanceWriter I understand what you are saying. Even I have had to use other writer's at times when I was still a student. I did not want to waste my time on my minor subjects when I had major tasks, research, assignments, and tests facing me almost every day in the classes that covered my major. It was the only way I could keep up with the work that needed to be done. I could have done everything myself but then I probably would have ended up skipping meals, losing sleep, and not having a balanced academic-social life. As students, you do what you have to do so that you can achieve the grade needed to pass the class.

AI is designed to create off the cuff papers meant for students and professionals who actually have better knowledge of the topic than the AI can produce. The information coming from the AI research is meant to be an additional source of information. It is not meant to provide all of the information. Remember that AI still lacks the ability to properly analyze and interpret the information that it finds. It is not capable of human thought and logic at this point. So it is best to not rely fully on the technology for your research and essay papers.

he AI essay writer fell short in delivering high-quality content.

AI generated text always comes with the caveat that the student must fact check the information provided because AI does make mistakes. Since the student is asked to do confirmatory work on the paper provided, it is assumed that he will make revisions and adjustments to the content as necessary. Since the students tend to ignore that warning, they get the AI generated crap that they deserve. AI only started writing the paper for them. It is a model for them to follow. It was not meant to be the paper that would get the grade for them. That is the misconception students have about AI generated essays. It is not the same as a human writer created paper. That can be used properly by the student, as he requires.

It is unclear if the company moved servers, changed its IP, or what. Just that there is a problem linking the domain to the default web site page. So unless the webmaster suddenly realizes what is going on, it is safe to say that this site no longer poses a problem for the students.

Artificial intelligence can only replace human writing in the draft section. The draft is like throwing pasta against the ceiling and trying to see what will stick. It is up to the human to replace and edit the trash that comes with the output. Keep what works, trash what does not. That is why AI use always comes with the caveat that the human should double check the information that the AI provides because it does make mistakes. To consider the AI essay output perfect and usable is what always gets the student into trouble. Yes, the landscape of online writing has changed, but that does not necessarily mean for the better. Case in point, the writing companies and independent writers have moved from websites to FB, X, TikTok, and other social media platforms where they can better control the image of their companies. AI is but a small fraction of the changes to the industry and does not pose a serious threat to the human writers at this time. Students will always come back to human academic writers at the end.

We were never clear about the type of degree the Nursing student is trying to acquire or tried to acquire at the time. She may have been going after a Practical Nursing degree, which would have improved her career options, but required her to go back to school. So we cannot and should not judge the reasons she had for looking for a writing company. Neither should we assume that she did well enough all those years ago when writing, or not writing her own papers. She was looking for help and did not get any at this forum. There isn't a writer in the world who will not benefit from a proofreading service. However, if the proofreader is an ESL person, such as the OP above, then using him as a proofreader will be non-beneficial to the student. Always remember, it is not advisable to hire ESL proofreaders because the way they speak and spell will not pass muster in ENL learning fields. You need a proficient or fluent English speaker/writer to do that sort of proofreading.

It looks like their publicity machine did not work anyway. 4 years later and the site has been taken down. It does not exist except for the domain name that is still in use and looking for a handshake from the old server that housed the site. The question is, where do their writers end up?

I do not believe that there is a connection between the 2 companies. The former already has its domain name up for sale. So they have been out of business for at least a year already. While the latter is still in business. While there may have been a previous connection, as these companies with similar sounding names usually connect in one way or another, the fact remains that the previous company went out of business. Sometimes it is a business decision that dictates which company name survives and which shuts down. Perhaps this is one instance of that happening.

I do not see how a potential client would even get past the opening line of the page. Everything about the page reeks of 3rd world writing skills. Based on the number of years it has remained open, I can only surmise that their clients are mostly ESL students who cannot tell the difference and therefore, do no treally care about the quality of their paper. Just that they have a paper to submit. They know their teachers will give them a pass and probably give them a base passing mark anyway. If you are a serious student looking to receive a good grade though, I would not recommend hiring this company.
