This is one company that uses the "pay for quality" concept in a bad way. They charge a high cost for a low quality (if at all paper). They have never produced a satisfactory paper for any client. They also refuse to give refunds. The gloss of their site and wordiness of their blurbs tend to fool the students into thinking that they can actually deliver on their claims. It is always too late when they find out that the scam has been completed and they were the sorry victims of the writers and the company. They manage to stay active though. That, is what puzzles me the most. How do they do it? When will the students learn?

Nope. The company is not reliable. They intentionally ignore the students who come to their company with complaints after receiving non-usable orders. They do not respond to student communications regardless of the mode of contact. They wait until the refund period has expired then they get back to the student and say: "tough luck. No refunds." Sheesh!

have the proof required to take them to the cleaners and I will.

No, you did not. The trumped up evidence that you had against the companies were worthless because these were all based on fiction. Anybody can manufacture evidence. Not everybody can prove the evidence supports accusations. You are one of those people. When evidence is not supported by facts, the accusers end up with egg on their faces. The companies you mentioned are both still going strong and you, are probably permanently out of a job right now because of your knack for falsehoods and imaginary claims of being wronged.

Writing Careers / beware of UVOcorp.com [38]

I worked for UVOcorp for about 3 months before I unofficially quit. I stopped writing for them cold turkey. I had already signed up with them before I found out that they have a habit of paying their writers back wages instead of current salaries. They owed me a quarter of pay and they never did get around to giving me my salary. I just consider that a nightmare that I wish to forget. Newbies learn all the lessons the hard way.

if some one post about having good service for a certain company other fags will positively comment in that thread.

You don't realize a fake website when you see one right? I mean, you said so yourself, it is questionable to have a series of posts related to the same topic, which are all positive in approach. If there are no negative comments and a true exchange of different ideas, then that website is a rubber stamp for the scam companies. They probably came together to put together that site in an effort to try and deaden the effects of the true reviews from forums such as ES.

@AlbertBarkley who paid you to promote both sites here? Based ont he way that you reviewed the paper, you are a professional shill. You knew exactly what SEO words to use, how to entice students, and make it all seem like you are just offering a review of both companies. This tells me one thing, the companies belong to the same person and you were paid to create a demarcation line. You failed miserably. You just reinforced the notion that neither sites are good and, are most likely scams out to get unsuspecting students.

The pandemic and sudden closure of schools really through the price of custom written essays through a loop. Most companies, dealing with online schooling students had to cut their prices. It was not because the demand for academic writing was low, but because the students no longer had the same allowance that they were used to when they were attending school formally. I know of several companies and independent writers who had to adjust their prices to meet the affordability requirement of the students. They managed to get more orders that way while everything was still in a tailspin. With the reopening of classroom based learning, they have slowly began to bring their prices up to the regular rates. Taking it slow means the price of the orders will be stable enough to not harm the bottom line for the writers.

This company went out of business just as fast as the scam was set up. I guess there weren't many takers for the scheme since the owners were not really very liquid and could not afford to keep the con going over a period of time. They could not wait for the scams to actually build up for them to make an income from it. So let us be glad that the racket and shakedown ended before it could get any worse.

Writing Careers / Eduwriters, do they pay? [23]

Wow! The solitary review for this website gave it 5 stars and a glowing review. I definitely do not believe that is an accurate review of the work that this company provides. Rather, it is a shill who made sure that a positive review would be in before any negatives could actually get through the line. Did you guys know that the review sites can also be paid to quash the negative reviews for any site?

An academic writer can also make additional income by writing his own "academic advice" book based on one topic or another. The ESL students are always on the lookout for any "Idiot's Guide to..." book that can help them wrap their heads around the English language and its grammar rules. So putting together a book that covers anything related to grammar, self published in e-book form and heavily advertised through social media is sure to generate income for the freelance writers year round.

The information for this website has been constantly changing for the past 15 years. They are constantly moving around, trying to stay ahead of the investigators. Their IP location and other information are also masked for most people. They are hiding some pretty dark secrets as far as I can tell. They do not want to be found and take great pains to make sure that nobody ever does. They cover their tracks very well for a reason. The company cannot be trusted to treat the clients properly. They do not do refunds, respond to emails. or deliver reliable work. Hence the constant cat and mouse game.

These companies all belong to one and the same owner. They have the same office address for a reason. They are cutting costs when it comes to business registration. They use the same address, but different company names to help them expand their business profile, without having to actually set up new company "offices". We all know they belong to the same person. Don't bother denying it.

These companies all belong to the same umbrella organization. Regardless of where the student places the order, it all goes into the AR writer pool and AR order server. The writers think they are hired by a differently named company when they apply. They get the surprise of their lives once they enter the order server. None of those companies will ever pay because the owners have a policy of advanced work for late pay. They always hold on to the money because they try to find a way to pay the writers less. The secret is to never earn more than a thousand dollars per salary schedule, the harder you work, the more you "earn" the more their attention is called to your account for possible "penalties". Their term for "do not pay this writer more than the allotted allowance for his pay class."

The company, which is widely known to be Philippines based and Filipino owned, is nothing more than a grab and run site. They only respond to registration emails. Their writer communication is non-existent, and after sales service promises are fictional. Do not deal with this money grabbing, thievery thinking people. They are only out to part you with your money. Their writers are some of the worst, if not the worst, in the industry.

I hope that the OP was able to get his money back after such a shabby paper was delivered. The writer did not even try to develop an original paper. The worst part, is that the company was directly in on the scam. They knew the paper was plagiarized, since the plagiarism checks are part and parcel of the business these days. Yet, they proceeded to submit the paper to the client. Knowing very well the paper was useless and was not going to be of any use. It could not even be used as a model paper in that case.

Please do not WORK for researcheden.com as your earnings would be looted by current set of staff

This isn't the only company following this practice. A majority of the third world academic writing companies follow this practice. 2 of them I know of personally because I had the misfortune of having to deal with them due to a writer concern. These companies do this practice more frequently during the holiday and summer seasons because the earnings are slow and they have to somehow, show a profit to the business partners. Taking it out of the writers earnings is the easiest way to do that.

Does anyone know anything about Asher Consulting, LLC?

After changing hands several times, the company eventually went bankrupt. They have shut down their operations totally and have put up their domain name for sale. The company was plagued by problems from the very start. They could not get any decent writers on staff, nor could they control the amount of revision requests and chargeback procedures brought upon them. The partners decided to cut their losses, selling their server and other properties to get whatever they could from their investment. These were sold at a loss for the most part, meaning the partners did not really get a decent ROI from the business.

The company actually has a promotional department dedicated to simply leaving rave reviews for the company across various web platforms. They try their best to make the students think that the reviews were written by fellow students, satisfied with the service. The problem, is that the way the review was written, a trained writer can easily spot the keywords being used for search engine optimization. The review just reads, sounds, and feels highly unnatural, which gives the review away. Don't use the service. It's a scam.

Should I spend money for advertising or try to get free search visitors?

Definitely invest in advertising. Do not rely on free searches. I tried that at the beginning. I was using the free versions of Instragram and FB, hoping that my posts would be enough to entice clients. Then I realized that FB and Insta, along with Twitter and other social media sites, were quashing my posts and hiding my threads. This was before the age of Big Tech meddling in the work of others. At the time, they were only out to force the companies and industrious individuals to place advertising so that the company would have added revenue from individuals. Once I learned that this was happening, I paid my way and the students started flowing in like an open faucet. The suggested pages advertising actually works to the benefit of the individual or company owner.

I guess everyone knows by now that Turnitin won this competition. The writers of pre-written papers had to surrender and start writing original papers per client since even Google has proven to be a formidable plagiarism checker as well. It isn't that the writers gave up, it was the industry changed its focus due to the academic institutions teaming up with the plagiarism detection services. Academic writers had to adjust and deliver on a new set of rules in order to remain relevant in the industry. That was a requirement and so it happened.

I consider myself bilingual.

You are actually tri-lingual since you speak your native tongue (Swedish) and a second language (Danish). That makes UK English ( the difference between the English language forms must be referred to in this business for writing purposes), your third language. From the way your post was presented, I would have to say that you made very few errors and could very well write high level papers for students who require it. You could earn the sizeable fees if you decide to pursue this job professionally.

Writing Careers / ESL academic ghostwriting stories [24]

If one relies on academic writing gigs for a potential retirement then that writer has another thing coming. The only one who can actually rely on this business for their retirement will be owner of the company, or, if one is an independent writer, the freelancer. They are the ones that earn the big bucks. Everyone else just receives a pittance for their work. For which the writers from third world countries are thankful like the salary is manna from heaven. The writers cannot tell the difference. All they know, is that they are earning and can pay their way somehow based on the various writing jobs they do, no matter how badly. I can't fault them for trying, academic writing is far more simple than the other writing professions they might try to enter.

anyone know if I should check the plagiarism myself

Definitely. Remember that these companies hire coders to write their own plagiarism program which will give them a stellar review of the writers work. It is a part of the con. Always use an independent plagiarism checker if you have to just to confirm the report. You don't need to use software to do that. Just copy and paste the middle part of the essay into Google and see if it pops up on any website. Then you will have your answer, without spending a cent or uploading your essay to any database for their permanent use.

The problem is that the students do not find ES until after the scam has been completed. So your advise is after the fact. It won't help the student anymore. He already learned his lesson and will definitely be more careful when hiring writers going forward. It is senseless to tell them to vet the writers when they did not know they had to do it in the first place. Lessons are learned only after the problem has become next to impossible to fix.

I am where I can of most help to my clients. My actual location is not important. All the client needs to know is that my company is reliable and my writers are professional. I run a tight ship and they will always get what they paid for. The location and number of years aren't important. There can be long standing writers here to can barely get the job done and new writers who deliver impeccable papers. So where the writer is and how long he has been at this job isn't important when the quality of work speaks for the writer and company itself.

This study has nothing to do with whether or not native and non-native speakers of English have the same level of skill

They cannot have the same level of skill when it comes to speaking and writing in English because each country has a specific way of speaking the English language. The way an Australian speaks English will sound strange to an Iraqi speaking English, and yet they are both speaking the same language. It all boils down to the bastardization of the English language in various countries. As Prof. Henry Higgins once famously said in "My Fair Lady", "In America they haven't spoken it in centuries".

inserting their email addresses into completed orders and telling customers to contact them directly.

Can't happen. The companies are wise to this type of action from their staff writers. That is why they ask the papers to be uploaded to the server beforehand for "quality control". It isn't really quality control that is done but rather, an inspection of the paper to see if the writer had inserted his email address and done anything in the form of self advertisement within the paper. Why do I know this? I caught a few of my old writers doing this. I immediately fired the twats for trying to put one over me. Who caught them? My investigative QC staffers, who received a bonus from me for a job well done.

It is really not logical for us to be telling who which writer to hire. First of all, we cannot make recommendations, much less dictate who might be best for your needs. You are the only one who can interview the writers, narrow down you applicants, then decide who is best skilled for your writing needs. Just make sure that you ask the right questions and have confidence in your final writer choice. This is a personal decision, nobody can help you make that all too important decision.

Nope. These sites are not legit. Their writers do not have the writing ability of even a high school graduate. The writers are incapable of proper communication with the client, do not have any idea how to follow the instructions from the student, and rarely respond to questions as well. The sales agents aren't any better either. Word is, they take up to a week to respond to a client query, when the paper had a short turn around time of 2 days! Sheesh!

"Well, if our kid can't figure out the stove, s/he deserves it?"

There are actually parents who believe that children learn the lessons better, and remember the lesson for a lifetime if they cannot figure out the stove, get burned and get burned trying to use it. Yes, they believe that the lessons learned from learning to use the stove are essential and the child deserves to learn that lesson to make it memorable. The same goes for hiring academic writing companies and writers. The students learn from the negative experiences and are more careful the next time they need to hire a service or writer.

Bad move. These con artists had nothing on you except manufactured documents. You should have held fast and not shown fear by pulling out of school. You should have simply stopped paying him. Then waited. If consequences would have come. The implied notion that the university would pay him for information should have been a red flag. No university would pay for information on a student. Yes, there are a few companies that are not scams. The problem, is that they often do not hire ESL writers. They do anything to keep the money for themselves. Believe me, the client received that paper and got a grade for it. That statement was only true during the past era when PayPal had a stranglehold on the digital remittance industry. Now that banks, credit cards, and other digital currency mediators exist, PayPal has become one of the relics of the Golden Age of the internet when anything and everything was possible. Before all of the regulations came in and forced Paypal to boot out their academic writing company and independent writer clients due to academic integrity issues. These days, you have to bite the bullet and take a chance when you pay a company or an independent writer using any digital payment channel.

Okay, this is what I mean by a writing company that has more believable reviews. A mix of positive and negative points of view regarding this company's writing quality, cost per page, and writer communication satisfaction ratings make me believe that the company is good enough to be used. There are more positive than negative reviews, that is what is important. A student can only make a properly informed decision once he knows the pros and cons of dealing with any essay writing company and that, is where the student reviews become highly important when hiring a company.

If you are confident in believing that all of the rave reviews for this writing service that can be found online are legitimate, then go ahead and use the service. Just remember, no academic writing company will have consistently positive reviews. I would be more trusting of a company that has mixed reviews thrown in there. The varied reactions are more truthful because not all writing services will deliver the perfect service to a student. There should always be one, two, three, or more, complaints along with the 10 positive reviews. Remember that. There is no perfect writer and there is no perfect writing service.

Kelli is a scammer.

I cannot give too much weight to the claims of the OP. ES takes pride in being the vessel of reliable independent writers to students in need. There is a reason why they ask the writers to sign up for EssayChat, EssayDirectory, and EssayBrand. They want to make sure that the writers are on the reliable and non-scamming side. There is an actual vetting process before the writer is allowed to join any of these promotional portions of the site. Aside from having the writers pay a fee to join, they are also interviewed prior to joining. There is something not right about this story. There are missing information that would have been helpful in allowing me to decide if this OP is telling the truth or not.

It's only unfortunate that most members in this forum ... Let's fulfill the very relevant purpose for which this site was actually designed to accomplish, "to eradicate scam."

This is what I have been saying all along. We all have a common enemy yet some forum members choose to fight with one another or pull down the new comers instead. There are bigger problems in the industry that need addressing. Instead, the other members of this forum (who shall not be named since they know who they are) would rather try to bully and harass others into leaving the forum because their attackers fear competition. They do not know if they can survive in an industry where someone better may come along and unintentionally cut into their profits.
