Based upon my experience, the number of words per page varies greatly depending upon several factors. These include the font type, the font size, the line spacing, and paragraph requirement per page. A standard page can house a maximum of 300 words if done in Times New Roman, font size 12, double spaced, with a maximum of 5 paragraphs for the page. It is not a rule set in stone though. It is all based upon the format requirement of the student. Just remember, no professor will allow less than font size 10 for the text so trying to keep the size small to avoid paying for more pages could be a problem for the student.

I am not sure if the publicity that is attached to the advertising sections of this forum still serves its original, intended purpose of removing the middle man from the discussion. As far as I can tell, the participants of those sections are no longer active at this forum. Even @Freelancewriter seems to have taken a sabbatical these days and is nowhere to be found. I guess the students can still try to contact the writers that advertised at those places before to see if they are active and can still be directly hired by some.

This is a question that seems to hound teachers and students alike well into the 21st century. Students now use AI to generate their papers, do not bother to even double check the sources, and pass these off, without even reading it, to their professors for a grade. So now the educators are facing more than just plagiarism prove of student writing. Now they also have to prove the essay was written by the student instead of a hired hand or an AI program. The rule of thumb remains the same. Regardless of you bought the essay from a human or, if you used an AI to develop the paper, never submit it in its original form. Read, review, and edit to put your writing style into the paper.

I remember when a student approached me, shaking in his boots because he had received a similar letter. How Di not come from the writing company though. It looked highly professional and could have fooled anybody, except for someone with a trained eye. There were so many red flags in the "copyright" violation letter that I told the student to take it easy, block the email address, and forget about it. He took my advice and graduated without a problem from the university without anyone ever knowing I was his academic writer.

This thread reminds me of the heyday of essay writing services. When writers and companies were at each other's throats, trying to gain clients during a time when human writing lorded it over in the academic field. Now, we are faced with struggles that we never thought would exist. I still believe that regardless of the fights that broke out in this thread in the past, the students will still get better service when they rely on a human writer to complete their paper instead of an automated app. Trust the writing companies, trust the freelancers, let's create jobs and income for our fellow academic writing professionals.

The risk of your user information being used against you is very strong and real, regardless of the location and how or why you gave the information. the length of time that a person / writer has been using his name on the website does not provide any degree of comfort when it comes to whether that person will use that information to blackmail you or not. There is always a first time for everything. Bitcoin is a dying currency as far as I am concerned and there are enough security measures in place through legitimate payment channels that will protect your personal information when paying for services.

I find this thread laughable. it is reminding students of why they are coming to this forum, while trying to get students reveal information about themselves. All I can say is, beware of identity fraud. It is important to keep yourself private in the academic writing world. Do not be too open about your experiences because too much information could be used against you by unknown players.

General Talk / are these reporters for real? [19]

The focus of these so-called journalists have moved on from trying to prove con academic writing sites and writers, to trying to discredit Gen AI essay apps. The "journalists" were never really in that line of work. They were pretenders who are working for the writing companies. They were competitor representatives hoping to dig up dirt on one another. They disappeared fast. Alongside the fake research that they did for fake companies. They were never legitimate, they were using legitimate company names though.

Well, students need to learn that the responsibility of finding a reputable writing company for them to work with relies on their ability to read between the lines when they are negotiating with the company or the individual writer. It is not up to the participants of this forum to point out who is the good player and who is not. You should learn to trust your gut feeling. If the negotiations are not smooth, you are more than likely dealing with a scam company or writer.

Oxbridgegraduates.com has since pivoted from being an academic writing website to a professional training website. They now deal with professionals who need coaching in their line of work. That is a far cry from the original intent of the company name. I guess the domain was sold by the original owner and the new owners successfully transformed the image of the domain name to one of a more professional and thus, higher image value.

General Talk / Want to buy a writing website [19]

Well, China has become one of the leading educational hubs in Asia since the pandemic ended. They have been sending their graduates overseas to study and they come back well accomplished. It is because the Chinese are not very fluent in English that the OP probably thought it would be a good idea to buy an already existing academic writing service to assist the Chinese students with their studies. Since China is now doing their best to give their children an early English education, I can see why the writing company business may flourish in their country.

Well the students definitely have a reason to complain about being scammed these days when they hire an academic writing service. They are promised that a human being will do the writing of the paper, only to find out that they paid a premium price for AI writing, which they could have done themselves. That is the only definition of students being scammed by an academic writing service that I will accept because the companies and writers are misrepresenting the service they will be providing.

Demographics do not matter in this case. There is no reason for us to keep track of the gender of our clients because as academic writers, we should be able to write using the male or female voice. It is a requirement of this job to be able to think as both a man and a woman, depending on the client perspective as stated in the order form.

This forum is in the business of helping students stay away from problem websites and writers. However, the owners of this forum still need to make a living out of their advocacy. That is why they have recommended services and writers for the students. They allow advertising from these sorts only after they have personally investigated the background of these participants. I have heard from reliable sources that they have actually caught some bad players through this method and have taken the initiative to take down the said website or writer, regardless of the potentially lost income. For them, it is a matter of staying true to their advocacy to ensure that the students end up working with only legitimate sources of academic papers and editing services.

While it is still important that students know how to do their own college research work, it is not really so much of a priority anymore these days. The students will rely mostly on an Ai generated sample paper, with link inclusions, and then work from there. I have even come across some students who actually send the full AI generated paper and had the writer "humanize" the writing for them. I guess that isn't a bad think considering that they actually want to improve on the AI work.

However, the fact that they are too lazy to research their own paper is what worries me the most. Someone or something needs to inspire these kids to start doing their own research again. Otherwise, they will be totally unprepared for the workplace when they graduate.

There are strict academic rules that prevent students from hiring a writing service in the UK. In fact, the rules are so stringent, that only advisory companies exist in physical form. No writer or company would dare face litigation by writing a custom paper for a student. The repercussions are just too much for the writer and the student to risk. Any company that claims to be writing custom assignments with a UK location is lying and will not deliver a good paper to the student.

The students may tend to notice that the forum as become quiet these days in terms of writer participation and advertising. I am not sure why that has happened. Even the ever active Freelancewriter has been MIA for a month or so at this point. So I am worried that the students that hope to use the services being advertised here may find their messages ignored, leading them to the criminal writers out there that prey on the students that rely on this forum for useful writer advice. I hope that is not the case and the forum will come to life soon enough because students need this forum to help protect them from the bad writing actors out there.

It is kinda difficult to accept referrals at this forum these days. While that endorsement is already against the rules, it also fails to consider that these writing sites, editing services, and other related entities could be relying on AI for the work that a human should be doing. These companies have begun to spin off into AI writing services for students, claiming that their paid AI service would result in a better written paper for the student, making it a better option if the student does not wish to opt for the more expensive human counterpart writing.

Like I previously mentioed, Turnitin is trying to spin off it's plagiarism software business because it is becoming irrelevant in the modern age of AI writing. While some schools still require their students to register with turnitin, the professors have found that the plagiarism problem is something the students fail to address even after they are flagged for it because the students trust AI to write the paper properly. It even gives them links to the information sources online for the students to double check the citations, rendering turnitin useless when it comes to plagiarism checking. The students can easily edit the paper to avoid that problem, without having to use turnitin.

Some students get lucky when using EssayChat. They find themselves specialized writers who are highly capable of delivering their scientific paper writing needs. The only problem, is that these writers charge a premium that not all students can afford to pay. However, those who still believe in human academic essay writing do not mind the premium placed on human writing as it beats AI when it comes to scientific analysis and research presentation.

General Talk / TurnItIn is stealing our work? [17]

Turnitin is less focused on proving students plagiarized papers these days. The focus of the company is more on how to beat AI writing in the modern educational system. They cannot figure out how to accurately flag a paper as being AI written, or that the citations in the paper are incorrectly provided by the AI. The professors are at their wits end in trying to get students to write their actual papers so that they will learn something because "At least AI does not get me flagged for plagiarism." Turnitin is now refocusing its business strategy and trying to learn how to beat AI at its own game.

While we were able to recover from the effects of the pandemic on the academic writing business, we never expected AI to hit our business as fast and as effectively as it did. There are even less writing orders in 2025-2026 writing season then there were during the international lockdowns. Students adapted well to AI writing and found it far more economical and less of a risk than when they pay actual writers for their paperwork. They fail to see the crap that is produced though but that is another story. The reality is that students are becoming well versed in developing the human aspect of AI writing by combining their skills with the AI, resulting in less work for human writers this season.

I believe that PayPal now offers refunds for problem essays under their Digital Services option. This is for the non tangible systems such as electronic piano pieces, online lessons, and, without a doubt, academic writing orders. I know that there have been a few students that filed claims successfully under this service because they have spoken about the experience openly at other forums. The claim is that PayPal asks to see the paper in question, compares it to the discussion instructions, then makes a decision about the refund. Simple and straightforward.

I do not believe that writers will find any "best essay writing agency to write for" these days. Most of the good companies have gone belly up, those that are treading water are barely making payroll, and the ones that claim to be doing well enough base that claim on not being caught by the students as having AI writers onboard yet.

A high definition website could be more problematic to deal with than a company that uses a more basic looking website for its representation. The quality of work cannot be found in the way the site looks. That is found after the order is placed and you have received your paper. Some websites have not changed their UI in ages, but their company remains stable in terms of client number and influx because the quality of the work their writers do speaks for the website itself. Glossy does not always equate to good quality.

Writing Careers / Kenyan Writers Exposed [17]

I thought UVOCorp was Philippines owned and based? That was what I gathered when I last checked on the registration of that company. Was it originally Kenyan owned? Anyway, I realize that the post is about Kenyan writers and I have to add a warning to what has already been said, Kenyan writers are now relying heavily on AI for their personal and business writing needs. So if you have a Kenyan writer working on your paper, be prepared to receive a heavily AI authored paper from that person. It is not going to be worth the money you paid out and it will be hard to get a refund from them for something you could have used AI yourself to complete.

KP Writing, as far as I know, is a registered company name for a specific independent writer. This person specializes in all sorts of writing services and has had success at his online writing services company. It does not appear that he has a pool of writers working for him either. He is an independent writer, similar to Freelancewriter, who works for various companies and individuals, depending on their writing needs. I sincerely doubt that he is the same KP Writing being mentioned in this post.

The essay writing websites often get fraudulent registration papers. Some of them actually falsify public documents because they claim to be located in an office space that does exist, but for a completely different business. Even the ownership papers can be easily faked, as well as forwarding phone numbers. Addresses for hire these days are such a large business. Some companies are in the business of renting virtual office addresses and office spaces. Setting up your office space as you need it for meetings and phone conferences. Freelancers can also do the same thing. So it is no longer a matter of having a credible office location. It is a matter of having faith that the writer, or the company, can actually deliver what you need without a problem.

There is no legimitate way of filing a case in the country of registration of the company that will allow a complainant to shut it down. Such a process would require international lawyers and a hefty amount of money on the part of the complainant. I have never heard of a company shut down using such a process as of now. However, the companies have shut themselves down for other reasons as far as I know. While the client may wish they could do something to shut down the company, it just isn't possible when the client and the company are located in 2 different areas of the world.

The rise of digital payments has made it quite difficult to implement the equivalent of cash payments or no refund policies on orders since the payment companies have refund policies in place for all their clients. All writers can do at this point is contest the refund once the claim comes to their attention. While it is difficult to prove that we actually delivered the service that was paid for, there are instances when the refund is not provided once the evidence required by the payment channel is satisfied. The evidences required are now more fair than before so the final decision on the refund is often as fair as can be.

General Talk / Backend/interface for writers [28]

There were some writing companies that loosened the reins on their writer-client interaction when AI first emerged. That is because the clients were demanding more direct contact with the writers, which led the companies to create specialized PM systems that would allow them to read, but not participate in the chat between the two. It was something that worked well for a period of time, but is now no longer important to the service as the companies also use AI to facilitate the said communication lines these days.

The remaining online freelance writers can pretty much write anything that you need them to. The writing that come from the human writers, not necessarily academic writers, ensures that the client will get a paper that contains heart, rather than a polished paper that was generated by an AI and is aimed at ticking off expected boxes, instead of writing from the heart that allows the paper to surpass the expectations of the reader. Independent writers come up with better papers because they are not controlled by a program that limits how they write the paper. We are not just about content and keywords, we are about the humanity that a paper requires to get its message across.

This industry was originally envisioned as a student helper. A group of dedicated academic writers who would polish the essay that the student already wrote. It was later on that the requests to write the original paper for the student came to be. That was an unexpected evolution of the occupation. Now, the writers do both, edit, revise, and finalize a paper or, depending upon the client's need, write the whole paper in an original form. These services are fast going out of style though because the students have started turning to AI for the work that we were originally hired to do. Students will pinch pennies whenever and wherever they can, without realizing they are sacrifing the quality of work they submit when they use AI for the paper completion.

This is not the only fake writing review website around. These have actually proliferated in the past because of the competition between writing sites. They would go out of their way to leave bad reviews of each other on their specific flame sites, hoping that they could negative review one another out of business. While these companies still exist today, they are no longer listened to by the students, who have now come to understand that the review websites have a self serving purpose.

Often came across students who would ask for a heavy number of sources, then ask only for a few pages to be written for the essay itself. When I explain that it is not realistically possible to provide information from that many resources on a paper of only a few pages, they often times add the correct number of pages to the order. However, there are those who expect to scam the system by insisting that the number of sources be used for the limited number of pages. In such cases, I would often refuse to work on the paper, return the money, and wish them luck finding a writer who can deliver what they need. No writer should be forced to write a paper that they know cannot be accomplished and will only keep coming back for repeated revisions and edits.

While this system will definitely be of great help to the students trying to avoid plagiarism accusations, there is always a small pocket of opportunity for their work to be flagged as plagiarized. Yes, similar sounding sentences and paragraphs can be flagged by the program. Then, there are the illogical programs that flag commonly used words such as "the", "name", "time",etc. as plagiarized. That is laughable cut actually happens in real life. There is no avoiding it and some writers, have actually been asked to rewrite papers, fully avoiding the plagiarized words. Good luck writing an essay that avoids the use of commonly used words.

Plagiarism checkers will always find something to flag in your essay. It was designed to spot or generate plagiarism accusations whenever and wherever possible. There is no such thing as a plagiarism free essay because of the way the algorithm was designed. The best you can hope for is that the professor actually ignores the plagiarism checker when the values come back as less than 30%.

1. No. I do not own the company.
2. I came across these information based upon publicly known industry information and through common friends with the owner of the company.
3. Ii cannot suggest any writer in particular from the company because all of their writers are highly skilled in their subjects of expertise. I have yet to come across a disgruntled client that dealt with them.

Students who participate or lurk at this forum consider the very subjects that you are asking about in your post as one of their priority considerations when choosing a writer or a company to work with. I have not heard of a specific company that boasts of these characteristics or criteria. These are always implied in their discussion points, but never clearly pointed out for some reason. I hope that we can hear from the students regarding their opinion of the queries you have posed.

As far as I know, the independent / freelance writers at this forum take great pride in delivering first class services, without any question as to the credibility, content, and creation of the papers. Those who are bad actors at this forum find themselves always unceremoniously thrown out by the old timers who want to keep the forum in a pristine condition.
