Like I said in a previous thread, it is difficult for the student to trust these ID's. I would like to add a suggestion. Maybe consider doing a video call interview with the client that will help establish your identity via a recorded meeting or screenshot? That way he will have more than just data to go by in terms of hiring and also, give himself an additional layer of protection should a writer, any writer, I do not mean you, try to blackmail him in the future? You at least have both each other on record as actual persons involved in the deal. Would that work for you and the other writers here?

Would you be willing to submit a government issued ID, say your driver's license, to a potential client if he asks for proof of the information you have disclosed to them? I am asking because it is very easy to make up a name, rent a virtual address, and pay for a rented landline phone number. You can get any service you want or need online to make yourself sound and look legit. A government issued ID is usually the most reliable form of confirming all of your data. Are you open to such requests from the students who may be interested in hiring your services?

TrustPilot reviews cannot be relied upon. There was a time, when that company first started, when they gave honest reviews of the academic websites. They allowed students to openly post the truth about their experiences with the companies. That is long gone now. They have gotten into bed with the negative writing companies, agreeing to keep all negative reviews off their website for a cost. It is just a promotional campaign site now. The reviews are written by the writing company staff and are posted to that website without any thought given as to how it could affect the student / potential client in the future

@Babi I find it hard to believe that they reported you to your university. These scammers are just good at scaring the students but they never follow through. It would be a totally different case if your university professor was the one that started an academic integrity investigation on you, as a student, based upon something that did not sound right in the paper that you submitted. Universities do not normally follow through on anonymous tips and they know that the writing companies try to blackmail students. So they do not give weight to such emails or reports. What you are saying is that there was a university gullible enough to believe them? Unbelievable. What sort of university do you attend?

Thanks for thinking of me. I am good where I am and with my current status at the forum. If I ever decide to pick up academic writing again, you can bet that I will be straightforward with my clients, in private.

I have heard from teachers and professors that some students have actually overcome their fear of writing through the use of AI produced papers. It appears that some students just fear the start of the writing process, but not the writing process itself. They tend to work properly and deliver good papers if they turn to AI first, and then develop their own paper. In other words, they function best when given a true model paper to work with. Since educators are cracking down on AI generated work, the students are forced to use AI, but then improve on it or write the paper themselves. That was the whole premise of academic writing services. It took an AI to make the kids realize that they should never turn in a paper they did not write for a grade. Now, if only they would come back to human writers for the best possible help in writing these model papers...

Write My Paper is the surviving entity between the two related firms. Although Write My Paper boasts of having highly qualified writers and efficient services, nothing could be further from the truth. While it is true that the writers do not miss deadlines, that does not mean that you will receive high quality work from them. These are just papers that were slapped together by the writers, who I hear have been turning to AI to write the papers of their clients anyway. The students easily spot the AI written papers and demand refunds, much to the anger of the company owners.

Since I am not actively engaged as an academic writer anymore, I do not see any need to divulge any personal information within this thread. I am already retired and will not be accepting writing jobs now or in the foreseeable future so giving that information to students via this discussion is pointless. Thanks for asking though. Since you are still actively engaged in the job of an academic writer, it is important that the students know your writer background. I am sure sharing it here will help you gain more inquiries regarding your services.

Choosing a writer is not something that you should take under advisement. It is a personal decision that should be based upon the criteria that you have set for yourself with regards to writer qualification during the vetting process. Consider your own writing style and the level of writing that you want to see the writer produce. Then ask these writers to offer you a sample essay based on a fictional subject. That should help you narrow down your choices or, help you pick the correct writer for your needs. Students must know that is is never correct to ask for recommendations from anybody because each student has a specific writing need that he must have fulfilled and the only way to achieve that, is to make the decision yourself.

Essay Services / Is sunbeamsvc a scammer? [66]

I did hear that Professor Verb had stopped writing academic essays some time in the past. I wonder why he decided to retire. He was, from what I have heard, one of the legitimate and easy to talk to academic writers who valued quality over money. I guess he came into a windfall and decided to rest his weary brain. Academic writing is no joke specially if you are of an advanced age already. I guess he knew when to quit and just enjoy the rest of his life. I hope he is doing well in retirement. He is lucky that he no longer has to worry about how AI will affect the human side of the academic writing industry.

Have you guys seen what passes for Native Speakerism in the AI writing tools these days? Tell the program to write in Australian, Canadian, UK, or USA English and all it will do is scatter a number of slang terms within the essay. That is what Native Speakerism has boiled down to in the age of AI. We all know that is not the case. Simply trying to sound like a native will not make the paper written by a native speaker. It will just show a lack of care in writing an academic and professionally sounding paper. The problem we are facing today as writers no longer pertains to these myths or realities. It is the reality that a machine is trying to take over our job that is the issue. An AI that mangles essays and has no idea how a native speaker of flesh and blood would actually deliver the product to the student.

The location of the writer is very important in this case. You have to understand that if you are not educated within the educational system of the client, then you will struggle to write the paper. You will produce sloppy work, and the clients will be dissatisfied with your final product. You will be too busy refunding orders to actually make any money from academic writing. You should be honest about your location and write only for students who will benefit from the educational system that produced you as a writer. Do not ambition to write beyond your actual exposure and training.

Academia Research has been finding it difficult to pay their writers for one simple reason, they keep refunding the orders that come in. The writers who do not check their credited pay will not know about these penalties if they are not in the habit of checking their credits and arguing with QA when they are penalized. The company relies on novice writers for most of their work so that they can penalize the writers without being challenged. This is the reason why they find ways and means to release their senior writers, who they treat even worse. They use a credit/debit system of penalties, paying the writer one month then penalizing their total earnings the next month. They are highly unreliable when it comes to salary so decent and hard working writers should never work for them.

This company is currently in the process of dismantling its online presence. There is still time left on their domain name connection to the server so the handshake process is still being done. However, the lack of response leads the browser to a time out. This is indicative of a site that no longer has its anchor page active on the server. The url can be considered officially dead. Since the redirect no longer works, I guess it is safe to say that the company is not going to continue to be an online presence under a different company name. This company may be considered officially dead at this point. They cannot harm the students anymore.

Such a highly skilled person should not be looking into academic writing alone. With these credentials, the person could pursue more than just research and writing opportunities.Translation services are also on the rise these days and offer people who speak at least 2 languages the opportunity to earn a premium salary depending on the contract duration. ESL writers these days no longer focus solely on academic writing. They believe they pigeon hole themselves in such instances. So they are also going after other writing opportunities in the transcription and translation fields.

Sorry, we are not allowed to make recommendations in the open forum. You can however, look into directly communicating with the available writers at this forum via EssayChat or EssayDirectory. Please note that any deals you enter into with these writers are your responsibility alone. The forum and its members do not vouch for any of the writers you may opt to deal with in the future. We are here only as as an experience reference and warning channel. You deal with writers at your own risk. There are a few reliable ones on here that should be able to help you meet your writing requirements though. You just need to be careful and know how to vet them properly so that you do not end up in any trouble later on.

Stop sending them money. That is the best way to deal with the scam. These scammers will keep sending you demands for more and more money while you continue to continue to cave in to the blackmail. They will not be able to do anything to you if you decide to stop sending them money. Do not give in to their intimidation. They are relying on your fear of being found out by your university to keep their thievery going. Block their messages. Nothing they say is true.

They cannot harm you academically. There has never been a case where the blackmailer successfully reported a student because they never do. However, students have gone bankrupt and taken out loans while trying to get the blackmailer to stop. They never will because you keep sending them money. Just stop. They cannot do anything if you do not give them what they want anymore. Do not be afraid to stand up for yourself.

I wonder what the new ratio is for the academic writing sites and freelance writers. With the students in the grips of AI mania, they are not flocking to the human writing assisted services at the moment. The traffic is not 0, but it is definitely not what it used to be. I would be interested to find out how AI has affected traffic to these websites. Did it really slow down the traffic or, is that a myth? Some of those I have spoken to said the audience dipped for a bit, but the crowd is now returning to normal. It appears the students are now becoming wise to the AI limitations in terms of writing and some have decided to return to human writing services.

The company is officially offline now. It is no longer on the server but the domain is still active. So the next thing to go will be the domain name. I doubt they will be able to sell the name that fast though. I mean, it took them 4 years to separate from their server. So I guess they have not decided what to do with their name at this point. Let's hope they do not decide to resell it. Just let it die a natural death. That would be the best thing to do. They would have to sell the name at a loss since the company image is negative. It may not be worth it to sell.

I wonder if this is the same company that is now existing as a research firm on LinkedIn? It sounds similar to the previously described company. It could be highly possible. Websites seem to be a thing of the past for businesses that rely mostly on networking and word of mouth for its existence. The company seems to be doing well on LinkedIn. No bad reviews. So maybe they decided to go legit since LinkedIn does take action when a company or person is proven to be a scam. They need to keep their name clean and their reviews positive.

The owner of the company is an Indian. I am not sure how he manages to stay afloat considering the scam that his company is but he manages to do so. There is absolutely no reason for writers to apply for a job at this company. There are no good reports to be found about the owner of the company. This is more of an apply at your own risk type of freelance agreement.

Hmm... for some reason, that url does not directly point to the website anymore. It has apparently been the target of attacks that has caused them to do bot security checks and IP address tracing. They are one of those companies that became afraid of the monster that it created, their own company. There is no reason for them to be extra careful unless they know that they are actually guilty of something. I do not doubt that a disgruntled client, possibly a student with coding prowess, managed to take their site down after they delivered shabby service.

It appears that they are still in business and have somehow managed to resolve their payment issues with their writers. I have been hearing some good stuff about their payment method these days. They are paying on time and respect the salary threshold of their writers. They are under new management as far as everyone can tell. The new owners are trying to keep the writer's happy and competitive with AI by offering free training for the writers before they start the job. Not bad. Here's hoping they keep up with their positive treatment of their writers.

I've heard that the company is actually bleeding money. They have not had the traffic that they used to enjoy for several years now. They are trying to stay afloat but it is becoming more and more difficult for them to do so. They pretend to be in the hiring process for writers so that everything will seem normal but then, they do not hire any of the writer applicants. They are trying to sell their domain names at the moment but there are no takers. Business owners are still observing how AI will finally affect the academic writing market.

They appear to be cost cutting. essaywritings.org is offline. The server cannot be found. It is a registered domain name without any files existing on the registered server. So I guess that was the company that had the least amount of earnings of the various company names. It was the least important so it was removed from the company listing already. The rest of the companies are still registered to the same person so the same problems still exist for the clients that hire any of these companies.

The website you are trying to reach is unavailable due to security measures in place which restrict unauthorized access.

The explanation is:
The request was unfortunately blocked by our system because the requested domain is not authorized on Cloudways server i.e. The domain has been successfully pointed to a Cloudways server but it is not mapped to an application.

It appears that the website has been taken down, but the domain name remains active for some reason.

Since there has been a slowdown in terms of human academic writing services, this field of employment has found a need to evolve. These days, the academic writers find themselves being hired as AI editors. What is an AI editor? The writer now has the job of going through tons of AI developed essays and articles, trying to make it sound more like a human being has written it. AI will eventually take over 10% of the human jobs in terms of writing, but it will never sound as good as when a human actually writes the article, essay, or paper. So I believe that more and more alternative writing jobs, in relation to AI, will be coming our way in the future.

Writing Careers / Eduwriters, do they pay? [23]

I am always thrilled to learn that a scam academic writing website has gone offline. Normally I would rejoice in seeing that the domain name is already up for sale since that signifies the company is out of business. Then I find out that these websites give up their domain names in favor of a more affordable and easier to promote FB page. Now I feel duty bound to warn both the writers and students who come to this forum to be careful. The company might resurface in FB. Remember, there is a reason for the bad publicity of this company. Do not trust them as a service provider or as an employer.

I wonder if this website is somehow related to facultywriter.com ? While the originally stated URL / domain name in no longer accessible or searchable, this similar sounding company name shows up as a Facebook page in most search engines. It seems like too much of a , to me. Does anybody have any information about this alternately named company ? Can anyone verify if a relationship exists between the 2 companies? Students have the right to know if this is the same lousy company under a new name. Is it the same con game?

Due to the sudden rise and dependence of students on AI for essay writing, independent writers and companies have found themselves slashing their prices to a moderate degree. That is because the digital competition comes for free and therefore, gets more student traffic. The students do not realize that quality work does not come for free. All they want is a quick way to accomplish their academic tasks, without having to spend for it. That is not the correct way to save on educational expenses. Independent writers and writing companies cannot work for free. However, if a student were to compare the AI product with a human written product, he should realize that paying for the essay, even at a premium price, will be well worth the money spent.

The website in question no longer exists. Although, digging into its background seems to indicate that it used to be housed on a Wordpress server. That could not have been good. No decent independent writer would ever use a blog site for business. It is a good thing that the company went out of business though. It surely saved a lot of students from making the mistake of hiring the services of that company. Since it is Indian owned, there is no way it could have writers on staff that knew how to write even a simple grade school essay.

Writing Careers / beware of UVOcorp.com [38]

UVOCorp has moved its business from wherever it was they were originally located to the Philippines. The company is now known as UVOCorp Phils. So the services they provide and, dare I say it, their treatment of their writers just went from bad to worst. I mean, how can a scam company run out Europe improve when run by scammers from a third world country? Exactly. This is not a business model that an independent writer or student looking for good services should look into. The website really looks flashy and glossy. It will take you in with the sophistication of its design. Do not be fooled. The service is not up to par with the image they are trying to project.

How does Academia-Research and its affiliate companies manage to stay in business with such crappy services from their ESL and 3rd world writers? Their Writer's exam is a laugh and they do not have any actual quality control to speak of within their company. Do not believe that these companies are independent of Academia-Research. That is the main company that holds the main server. All the other sites are redirected to their Academia server once the order has been successfully placed. Do not put your confidence in any of their companies. They are sued on a regular basis and often found guilty in court. The problem is enforcing the penalty.

the mere fact that the company was located in India should have been enough of a red flag for most students. I guess the fact that the company finally went offline is the best response to the question regarding the trust factor of this company. It was never trustworthy. If it were, it would still be in business today. The URL is no longer accessible. The homepage is down, but the rest of the website is still active on the server. So the next question becomes, will the company resurface under a different name but with the same function? Students, beware !

Turnitin and other plagiarism detection tools are finding themselves having to keep up with technology these days instead of academic writers. Artificial intelligence has proven to be a formidable opponent to their plagiarism detection abilities. Something that they did not have to deal with when students were still mostly hiring human beings to write their papers for them. Unfortunately for these students who have come to rely on technology for their essays, it is also technology that have made it more difficult for them to use free or even paid AI writing services. Nothing beats a human being writing an original paper for the student. In the end, both TurnitIn and AI writing will bow to the perfection that is the human written essay.

The writers of the company left when they were not paid and the image of the company as being non-payers affected the value of the website / company name. Any company int he academic writing industry that left with a negative image will not be able to resell their name. It is damaged. There is not a person or business that would risk using the same name for fear of repercussion from the writers that were not paid.

Students can disconnect from search engines these days and simply rely on Gemini or ChatGPT when writing their essays. These AI programs have become so pervasive in the academic writing world that students have come to rely on them to write their essays. The thing is, it is so easy to spot an essay written by an AI, which students fail to understand. An AI written essay reads almost the same as the OP. It is senseless, fails to make a point, and does not really help the student create a grade worthy original paper. Artificial intelligence is exactly that, artificial, lacking in logic and sense because it only takes information it finds and splices it together.

This is protecting itself from online attacks using Cloudflare. Why would a legitimate company be blocking people from certain regions of the world from accessing their websites? It does not make any sense. They should be trying to recruit clients, not keep them out. They are paranoid for some reason. Perhaps they have been reported enough times to the proper authorities that the only way they can protect themselves from prosecution is by limiting access to their website. It appears they are IP tracing the people who try to enter the site and blocking based on the trace.
