I tend to stick to a fairly standard price, but will negotiate when appropriate.

That sounds like the most reasonable approach :). Btw- how do you treat your "new" vs. "established / returning" clients - do you give any instant discounts to your old clients?

+ it's not only about the quality of research, but also about integrity of the writer.

Are there any people with experience of this here that could perhaps give me some advice?

If you get accepted, first I'd try to focus on orders that pay less (or that are urgent) and once you prove yourself to be an excellent and reliable writer most companies will not be afraid to entrust you other orders.

there is seemingly a lull there these days

Another pointer - check the calendar (Jun-Aug are summer/slow months for writers and academic research services).

Thankfully, on EssayChat students can now check the real country of origin of writers who advertise there. I assume you're from Kenya so you're now trying to find 'viable alternatives' to hide your true location. There are good reasons not to have a Kenyan flag by an ad indeed.

They seem to be very popular last time

Where? Since there are hundreds of thousands of similar websites managed by a few offshore / non-English entities, becoming a popular service is virtually unachievable. There may be a few (quite expensive) services that are popular, but the rest are not very well known, especially if they belong to a kolkhoz managed by individuals from unreliable countries.

You could email them directly or find them through freelancer websites. One of the best ways to become a recognizable writer is to start posting on forums like this one and then slowly build reputation; through your posts you can build trust among the readers / students who would eventually hire you to do their example assignments. And don't forget to create a Freelance Writer profile so that students could actually find you.

I got my dad manager level jobs...

Why do you study then - you'll land a good-paying job, no matter what ;)

And how did you manage to shift this form.

I assume there is a moderator here who can do such tricks.

Right, you may get admitted to top schools. But when you're out of school your potential employer will not care too much about your grades - he/she will be more interested in what you can do to improve their business or how to make them more money.

Still, considering the fact you can now recognize good vs. bad writing services, you may eventually be a good asset to any organization ; ).

96% score with high trust rating pretty legit but still i wouldn't take risk as it is still not 100%

Maybe that's the gist of the problem - your expectations are too high to what it is possible to deliver in normal circumstances. I would not like to be your writer or to service such a demanding customer ;). Perhaps the site you reviewed (custom writings) wasn't that bad after all.

Yes, if it's entered into TurnItIn then it becomes part of the system (that's why it's funny when sometimes a customer asks their writer to send him/her a TurnItIn report to prove the paper isn't plagiarized ; ). Still, I guess TurnItIn isn't set up with all universities and it still cannot recognize direct quotes as a non-plagiarized content.

So yeah, in most cases I can guarantee an A because I do my effing homework.

That's not a very catchy advertising line in this business, you are not a good salesperson (too pushy and too much of the I-don't-care spirit), and on top of that you don't know the law ;). How many percent of students who order example research do actually need an A-level work? 20% maybe?

I don't have a lot of experience with "pre-written papers" - but as far as I know full-text of essays is not available to TurnItIn or any other search bots - it's only available to paid users. In result, TurnItIn cannot "copy" such essays (unless they are submitted one-by-one by students who purchased them).

Although it guaranteed reply within 2 hours, I received a reply after 5-6 hours. I understand that because it may takes time to find a writer.

They missed the deadline by 250-300% and you are still okay with that; you're a great "client" ; ).

My job as an academic freelance writer is to absolutely help students cheat by doing their work.

Try to put it in your resume or in your job inquiry email and you won't get hired by a legitimate (US/UK based) company.

Make no mistake. 99-100% of clients are turning in purchased work as their own.

Not true.

Good job, Pirate, for stating it like it is.

You may try another experiment. Go to a local store to buy a knife and tell a salesperson you're going to use it to hurt your neighbor. Do you think they would sell you the knife? Probably not - UNLESS you start using the "I won't hurt anybody with this knife, I promise." line ; ).

The origin of the scam is Nairobi (or so I was told)

Not surprising at all.

The scammers, I was told, finish the order, and then ask for large sums in order to keep the clients privacy - somewhere around Ł500.

I've heard a similar story, but there are two sides of it. The most important part is that a client refuses to pay because he/she thinks the final paper is not worth the money. The writer thinks otherwise and a dispute begins.

We've had writers from Kenya claiming to have offices in London or men claiming to be women. Today we have a single mother whose real appears to be "John." But that claim can be true these days so let others give their opinions ;).

Writing Careers / SENIOR writer - what does it mean? [10]

In the academic writing and research world it (usually) means that the writer is trying to hide some essential information about him/herself and/or their real location ;).

It takes an excellent writer to significantly improve an already good paper. Still, it's not a good excuse not to communicate with you to resolve the problem.

It's actually simple - 'scam companies' create dozens/hundreds of websites hosted on different domains so that at first sight it appears these websites aren't run by only one or two companies. All orders submitted on their web forms are being funneled to the same parent system. Same companies hack dozens of other websites just to plant a link to their sites. That's all.

More complex technologies and regulatory framework over the internet.

In your scenario, the regulatory framework would close all example writing/editing services (legitimate or not) or would allow to stay only those that contribute to the framework's agenda ;).

Why are fraudulent companies being allowed to advertise here?

Everyone deserves a second chance: if not, most big corporations (that have been proven to scam their customers one way or another) would be banned from advertising..

on an anti-scam forum

It's closer to: how to improve your services forum ;).

Reply as often as necessary ;). But you're right that some clients waste too much time on making their writers reply to emails that don't bring anything useful to the project.
