I am getting an error message when I access this site. The server is refusing my ip address handshake for some reason. I have been told that it is a common problem among websites that are being taken offline. The main page has been deleted while the other pages remain active, leading to a server connection confusion. I will hazard a guess here and say the company, which relied on freebies to exist, had to shutdown because the company wanted to do business on the cheap.

The writing requirements for a PhD paper reflect a higher level of intellectual ability, academic understanding, and research skills. That complexity is what changed its name from a thesis to a dissertation paper. A masters thesis is still at the collegiate level of writing that only requires evidence of proper research and the ability to defend your work before the thesis committee if necessary for graduation. Granted the same is required for a disseration but again, we have to refer to the level of studies and research done to differentiate the two. Do not bother confusing yourself with terminology. What the paper is called does not matter if you cannot turn in a graduation worthy final paper to your professor where and when it matters.

Writing companies, regardless of location now require the writer to take writing tests, submit their resume, transcript of records and diploma, and submit an on the spot research paper. The requirements are no longer lip service as someone here has implied. These documents are submitted for a reason and the tests results are considered as a part of the application process. The companies prefer that non-UK or US based writers do not apply since they cannot meet the writing standards as the company has promised the students. There are however, some other companies that openly admit to hiring ESL writers (at a lower pay rate than ENL) from any country in the world. I suggest that the OP and anyone else who is ESL but interested in this business look into applying for a writing job at those companies.

Does there really need to be a divide between US and UK writers? What purpose does it serve? Writing specializations aside, isn't the bottomline of the business just the same? To legitimately help the students who need writing help regardless of English style? If a writer is not well reesed in a particular US or UK subject she can always turn it down. Why target one another when we should be lifting each other up and cooperating towards somewhat professionalising this business? It just does not make sense anymore.

The last time I checked, there was no certification giving body for this occupation. There are no training materials provided nor courses we can take to prove we are trained academic writers. Our own claim of expertise will rely on our academic background and the fact that we had to write hundreds of papers during our time as college/masteral students. That is the only training we were provided if one thinks about it in hindsight. Real time application of writing and research skills.

It is improper to imply that academic writers need to have specific skills to be "certified" because these are skills that are developed during your time as a student. The only certification we have is our college degree. Do not imply that actual training is involved in this job because that is not true.

I do not think the site ever went offline. The site is up and running with more premium services this time. They now offer "take your test for you" services which is a very bad idea if you have no idea who you have hired to take the test. More so if you consider that you just met the writer, have no idea what his intellectual abilities are, if he is familiar with your course, and if he is actually a graduate of the course he will be taking the test for. Hire an exam taker writer only if you have had a long term relationship with him and if he has proven to have a working brain. It will be difficult to do that using a writing service since the order tends to get picked up by various writers. You may get stuck with a bum writer taking your test. Tests are highly important to your grades so hire with caution.

These are all sound and solid suggestions. We can only hope that someone among the powers behind the forum is listening and will try to open the minds of his partners to the value of these suggestions. These moves will definitely heighten the profile of the forum and regulate or control the participation of bad actors in the threads.

I would like to add to your suggestion. Rather than just banning the profile and email address, the mods and admin should look into updating their system to keep track of the IP address. These profiles more than likely use the same internet connection constantly. They cannot be in the business if they use free wifi. So, if they can ban the IP of the user, then the need to ban the profiles and email addresses will be negated. The IP ban would, in my opinion, be the best way to solve the problem.

@FreelanceWriter Their names did occur to me but since they were no longer participating in the posts here, I thought that it would not be right to mention them. That said, the likes of Cruciadiem, Orchid Goblin, and the others also come across as paid company hacks to me. Their profiles just do not sound right and the way they speak is not that of a proper independent writer who is looking to promote his business honestly. They do not speak with respect towards others. Which makes them suspect to me.

An independent writer can make this specific order requirement when negotiating the CPP with the student. Company writers do not have this liberty since it is the company that sets the price and often, do not inform the student that single spaced pages cost more. Oftentimes student clients inform the writer about this after the order has been accepted. Then the student refuses to adjust the CPP.


That is why the student should make sure to hire ENL writers each time. One may have atrocious spoken English skills but near perfect English written skills because there is time to perfect the witten language. Such situations do exist. In this case, hire someone with good grammar to help out at the start to help out with the student image.

3 profiles immediately come to my mind. These are 3 recently created profiles in defense of UK essays that were not set-up properly by the user. These were created in a rush by the same or several ill-trained users. The venom being spewed by these so-called freelancers leads me to believe all 3 characters are the company owner/owners. The language syntax are the same across all 3. They also have a fixation on UK law writing for some reason. I am calling this (these ?) person ( people?) out based on his (their?)obvious attempts to discredit observations I have made about the website even as I presented evidence to prove my claim of possible coding problems depending upon the browser type.

Rather than fixing their site credibility problem, these profiles have decided to act like cornered rats instead. Their attitude makes them even more questionable in my eyes. For me it is all about the information and/or facts as I discover it and presenting it for the consideration of the student.

I am sure there are more out there who pose as freelancers but I cannot remember who they all are.

Independent writers? I have recently observed that some listed / participating independent and freelance writers here actually work for companies. They intentionally mislead the students when creating their profile. I am not sure if they are instructed to do so by the company they work for or, if it is just the company owner opening multiple accounts and profiles to promote and defend their companies from illogically perceived threats and competition.

A student should make sure that he is really dealing with an independent writer / freelancer. He might find himself being directed to a company website to close the deal, which is considered misrepresentation. Though not a serious offense in this industry, it calls the trustworthiness of the independent writer / freelancer into question.

It is not scare mongering when one is merely informing students. The freedom to choose your service, if the student wisher to do so remains. The objective of this forum is to help students make informed decisions when hiring academic writing services. That includes cautioning them against possible problem sites. All information presented is for their consideration.

As for your question about non-UK writers and English law, ask the writer concerned directly about that. I am not the writer in question therefore I am in no position to respond to that inquiry.

I wonder if the owner of the web-hosting business at this address knows that another company is squatting on his physical address online? I would be majorly pissed off if it happened to me. This is obviously criminal behavior and should be considered a form of business identity theft. The place is open 24 hours due to the legitimate nature of the business. That said, there is only one business located at this address so we can be sure both the companies mentioned are up to no good. They should give up their claim to this address. They will definitely cause the business owner legal problems in the future.

Chrome is not exactly known for protecting its users from malicious websites. I am not saying the site is "dark" but it is always best to exercise privacy caution when the site is blocked by certain browsers. Students need to know that the risk accompanying the website is high. The final decision to place an order with the company or not lies ultimately with the student, regardless of writer qualifications. That consideration varies per student and budget available. That is what creates hiring fair game.

The OP was a troll who got exactly what he wanted out of the then participants at this forum. A negative reaction that would produce a continously negative thread. He was never seeking any company to work for and yet nobody seemed to see through that. He never intended for a positive list to be produced. He knew all of the rules and was merely trying to figure out which ones he could break. He was a plant. He was placed here to create chaos. Luckily, we get less of his like these days. Most of those who ask are really interested in an above board freelance writing job.

The system returns an error message when I try to access the page. The most likely reason is that the company is no longer active. The cached files are also no longer accessible on the server. So the company can be assumed to be offline. How long it has been offline is anybody's guess. If anyone has a different experience with the url access situation, please do not hesitate to call my attention to it. As of now, I will assume the company is no longer an active part of the problematic academic writing sector. If I am right, then the students have been saved from dealing with them.

You should not have paid him even half the fee for a lousy effort. That is what made him brazen enough to demand full payment. When you do not have the intention of using the paper at all, you should not pay the writer. When a writer does not meet the writing requirements and client expectations, he should not be paid. No writer should be paid for unsatisfactory work. What you did was reward bad behavior.

I bet you did not even complain and tell him that you will not be using his shoddy paper. Since you did not use his paper even partially, you can safely ignore him. Having your details will be of no use because, even if he convinces a professor to check your work for plagiarism, which I doubt he can accomplish, the professor will see that your paper is 100 percent original and legit. He will trash the report for sure.

I do not think that there is a reason beyond changing internal regulations that we are not privy to. Banner space is always at a premium that require certain regulations that only companies can (usually) accommodate.

In this case, the company advertisers need a benefit that should be exclusive to their advertising tier which is far higher than yours and uses a different set of legal agreements and business regulations. It is a normal tier differentiating tactic for company V. individual advertiser.

I would not think so much about it. You have other individual advertising avenues as an individual advertiser available at this forum anyway. It is just a an advertising demarcation line. Nothing more.

Why did the OP not come back with a response? Even though there are posts that reply in the positive to a working experience with Custon Papers does not replace the need to hear from the person who started the thread. How can we be sure that the positive statements are true and not planted? I cannot take those comments as truthful knowing that they pay to prominently advertise here. They could be using a suppression privilege for all I know.

Independent advertisers aside, a company with a banner here needs to be considered on a deeper basis since they can afford to spend big to keep their image positive when it might be negative otherwise.

@freelancer1234 Thanks for letting me know. I believe that there is a coding problem with the site. It is not accessible by all browsers. I am using DuckDuckGo which is known for being a highly private browser. It protects users from potentially harmful websites by preventing the launch of invasive codes by embedded codes in the sites. If this is the case, then the website coding may contain malware, trojans, and possibly back entry trackers that are dangerous for student privacy. Caution must be practiced even more greatly when dealing with this site. I am not saying students will encounter problems when dealing with this site, but that is a high possibility. It is never a good sign when the browser auto-protects the user from accessing any website.

The 21 day hold policy only works for Paypal clients without a proven clean track record yet. Once you establish yourself within the system, the money releases earlier and the unique buyer protection policy for intangible objects is set into play.

Can you come back to this thread and explain why the site has been under an Access Denied warning for more than a year now? What is going on? The company is still actively listed in search engines but the page itself is non-functioning. Why not just take it offline and release the url? It is pointless to have students visit a site that does not offer any services at all.

The run-around should have answered the OP's question immediately. Well, there are 2 possible responses. The first is they pay late. The second, is they do not pay. Both are possible scenarios depending upon the mood of the Billing and Accounts department. The run around could refer to the first indicated scenario. There have been companies known to be up to 3 months behind in paying their writers. That is the run-around scenario and is the most common used. It looks like these 2 companies certainly prefer the uber delayed payment method. These are not companies I would want to work for.

The * DND does not matter anymore. It is another company that shut down during the pandemic due to a lack of clients and consistent chargeback claims. Their scam finally caught up with them. The sad part is that there are writers who were blindsided and did not get paid. Clients were providing orders and payments on their last day. Oblivious that they were being stolen from. The owners were jenks towards those who mattered towards the end. People like them should have some sort of comeuppance. Last I heard, there people were trying to get new investors to launch a new academic, but not writing, company. What are they up to now?

There are several companies in the list that have stopped doing business. Their websites are no longer active and domain names are even up for sale. It is important to note that one of the companies in the list actively advertises at this forum so the image that it projects is one of a reliable one. At least on the surface. Who knows what the actual service is like since the reviews for that forum are more than likely quashed to prevent them from cancelling their ad service from the forum. All the other sites int he lsit that are active do have negative reviews here so one merely has to search for the company name to find out whether or not the risk of doing business with them is worth it.

It may just be coming back to life. The url seems to be attached to a new server but it has yet to go live. The website used to not connect to anything and had a username problem. Meaning the site was offline. Now, the site is probably in beta stages again, being tweaked so that the name can finally connect to the server. I have a very bad feeling about this. They conceal it for business purposes. They believe that the students will only trust English natives from the US and UK. That belief is embedded in the colonial mentality of the Ukranians I guess. Americans and British tend to be more trusted than people from the former Soviet Union and Russia. Changing their names to the more commonly accepted English counterparts reinforces their belief of this ideology. They can change their names all they want. It still won't eliminate their thick European accent when engaged in a conversation during the order inquiry process.

Ebay is just as bad as Craigslist these days. Scams and cons abound since nobody is really paying much attention to transactions there these days. Even their Disputes are not satisfactorily resolved anymore. It takes longer for them to take action regarding complaints of the academic writing kind. Well, the company was never an Upwork to begin with. So we cannot expect all essay writing deals made over there to have the same kind of protection and resolution services like those actually in the business. It will be best not to hire someone found on a selling website. It is not the same as hiring someone from an academic writing company or freelancing background..

Global Writers is now out of commission. That leaves only 3 more potential problem sites for students to deal with. Proficient Writers sounds like a dream employer for writers. They claim to not employ Debt Slaves which doubt very much. How else would a company that gives half a chance to anybody to become an academic writer make any money then? I am sure they also use the penalty system, just in a different way from their competition. I would like to believe otherwise but I just do not see any evidence of that at the moment. can anyone here change my mind? Do any lurkers work for them? Now would be a good time to speak up.

There have been several cases filed against this company in Latvia. Their complaints Board focused on deposit retrieval after the company failed to assist in the completion of the coding project deals clients entered into. Their modus was always the same. An escrow amount in paid upon order filing and the full amount paid upfront as soon as a writer is assigned. The writer then proceeds to not complete the work, causing a refund to be filed. The upfront payment is returned but not the escrow amount. Thatis where the online complaints board comes in to resolve the grievance. Although the complaints filed date back a decade, it is important to take this past cases as a present cautionary tale.

Was the 40 % refund completed at all? That should be the main question beeing asked in this thread. More importanty, was the refund offered fair to the client based on the damages be may have incurred due to writer incompetence? These are the considerations that should have been posed in this thread eather than the hijacking topics found in between the related discussions.

The company may be related to customessay.uk. Both sides no longer complete the page connection so nothing loads no matter how long you try to wait. I tried to look into the backgrounds of the companies and there are some information that seems to connect the 2. The latter being the main company and the former being the affiliate site that connects to the same server. Both companies are now no longer potential problems for the students. There are other companies that they can try if they want to. Looks like we need 2 obits instead of only one.

I believe that the company is in the process of being shut down. The url directs one to a page that is incapable of making a complete connection with the required server. I tried to load the page for 5 minutes before eventually giving up. So the conclusion I came to is that the sewer has been taken down but the domain name remains active. It is therefore easy to say that the company has been buried in the place where scam academic writing companies go to die. Anybody going to volunteer to write the obituary?
