They do not even understand what a database is an how relevant it is to the writing process. They seem to think that the database is composed of work completed by their writers, not an online library of information for reference, which is what a database is mostly used for in academic writing. When a company does not know the difference between information sources and writer's files, you are looking at a company that has the potential to mess up your paper, even if your instructions are explicit. If there is a way to mess it up, they will find that way. It is not worth the money to try their services, even with their discount offers.

It appears that the OP had an acceptable resolution to his case as he no longer provided any follow-up reports on what transpired during the QA investigation process. If the result had not been satisfactory, he would have been all over this board with copies of the communication between him and the company.

By the way, I do not appreciate that @tinkerman made assumptions about which company this person dealt with and how the events would unfold. His matter of fact manner did not provide any helpful information for the OP and only ruffled feathers unnecessarily. False assumptions do not help and he is lucky the company rep did not see his post and read him the riot act. We should avoid unnecessarily worrying the students and should instead, be offering helpful advice. False assunptions never helped anyone.

I believe that he is just getting his monies worth out of the paid advertising privilege. He is allowed to self - promote for as long as he pays for the opportunity to do so. He may be straightforward in doing so these days but that is only because of the cut throat nature of the business and the upcoming dry season as the students start summer vacation. While I may not always agree with his professional promotion tactics, I just tell myself that we all do what we need to for personal and business survival. That is what he is doing.

His promotional actions should not be taken against him when the mods say it is ok for him to do so. It is acceptable in their book since he pays for the right to do it. It sucks but we just need to accept what we cannot change. Only the mods can force him to make that change if they insist that he do so in the name of fair competition among the forum participants.

Maybe you and the other complainants should start a petition or individually email the people that run the forum take up the problem with paid self-promotion up with them? They may just listen to your reasons and change their rules about it if enough people privately complain about it.

This is a factual truth. ESL sounds and reads differently from ENL for the most part. However, the professors do not care so much about how the sentences are developed and structured. Their main concern is whether the report/ opinion paper/ research material meets the given content requirements as they instructed. Professors focus on the material presentation in the sense that the written text should be understandable and must show an effort coming from the student to understand and properly accomplish the assignment. The reason that the students complain is because the ESL writer did not even make the effort to develop a well written paper. Aside from cut and paste content, the writer also typically writes in obvious beginner learning style, which is not even high school level writing most of the time.

They seem to have stopped paying forthe privelege to use the fake address. They no longer list a physical location in their contact list. I do not doubt that they did this to prevent count documents from being delivered to marsh sites and executory documents to parking lots. Both of which makes their cases worse and could lead to the company owners to being included in Wanted lists. It seems to help their company. They have managed to stay in business so far.

The DMCA Protection badge of this company is worthless. It does not prove the legitimacy of their company, nor its phepical location. A claim to havea plupical U.S. presence, but no actual location provided makes them suspect, regardless of their U.S. and U.K. based phone numbers. Both redirect to their head office located Were? Timbuktu? As a client, I should trust everything that they say and claim based on a phone number? I don't think so. Convince me the company exists beyond a virtual setting first. Sure most businesses now exist virtually, but most of these online presence is based on a physical location first. Even if that location directs to the home address of the owner. All legal documents require it. All students should demand it before hiring the service.

I have 2 problems with this company. The first is their project costing. The second is their privacy guarantee.

I find their cost per page to be too low for a legitimate and skillful writing service. They already offer rock bottom prices for their services as it is. Why did they feel the need to discount there services a second time for new and returning clients? A decent writer will never agree to undercut his prices to this extent. He barely earns anything from the order if at all. I can only assume, based on these prices, the writers are not even as partially skilled as the company claims them to be.

Now, about their privacy guarantee. Nobody should be comfortable leaving their card details on a less than secure server such as this one. God only knows how well they protect these data, if at all. Saving the payment details should not be automatic because this may be a one-time client for all they know. Or am I the only person paranoid about how my card details might be used?

There will always be bullies in any forum and ES is no exception. Why they target certain people is beyond me. There is no sense in their actions or statements. They fail to see that they will not win over clients by being mean. That is always a total turn- off. Here's hoping we see more interaction from you over the coming days. This company cannot even use their own stock of writers when it comes to writing their company promotional materials. They actually had to outsource the copywriting for their website. Students cannot expect this company to have their papers written professionally, regardless of their claims, when they themselves cannot entrust simple SEO guided blurbs to any of their writing staff. Even then they hired exterior writers on the cheap. Hence the very crude web content currently being used on their site. Such disregard for their own image and selling points makes me wonder if they have any QA criteria for client paper assessment prior to delivery.

Having a heavy volume of traffic coming from Pakistan meant that the Pakistanis became more aware of the website than before. Perhaps the site was new at the time of this posting. That would help explain the high volume of interest coming from the potential writing staff. It indicates the actual location of the company as UK based writers would have little to no interest in working for a Pakistani company. I am taking these declarations with some doubt though. Alexe is not exactly known for generating verified information. While useful as a reference point, supporting data is still warranted to support all the claims mentioned here.

This proves your legitimacy in the business and the phone number is provided confidentially on a need to know basis, after the deal is closed. Now I understand why you do not openly provide the phone number. It makes more sense to give the member only to paying clients. They have earned the right and privelege to call upon you as needed. Posting it publicly as an independent writer, with no answering service involved, is simply a waste of your time.

I would like to reiterate, as proven by this post, that having a publicly listed number means nothing when the phepical location of the company does not exist. It is right that only locked-in clients have the writer's phone number.

Academic writers from the US need to be well versed in both UK and US research trends. They are required, by the demands of the job, to have some knowledge and background of whatever topic they have been hired to write about. If they do not have any knowledge about it, then they will learn on the job, and fast. With regards to UK law, provided the student can give the writer relevant reading materials and other sources, the writer will be able to take this information and, by adding on to it with his own research pertaining to the relevant UK law, create a relevant original paper for the client to use.

There are some US based academic writers on this board who already have a degree of familiarity with UK law and its accompanying discussions. The student merely has to ask about this specifically when reaching out to the writer to discuss the specifics of his order.

From what I have heard, it is possible to take these courseworks and tests online with a reliable completer. It is just that it requires the presence of both the student and completes online. The student still personally attends the class and completes the coursework / test. He just has to cut and paste the completed solution as delivered in real time by the completer. Such a setup has its advantages as the student has the opportunity to assess the completed solution for validity. He may opt not to use it if he has no confidence in the work. Then discuss payment adjustments later on. Never let someone else attend the class for you. That can only result in a disaster such as the one experienced by the O P.

What a difference a year makes. The domain name was still active around this same time last year. This year I found out that the domain had been taken offline and is now available for sale. It appears that the owners finally realized that doubling on the name director, but not changing the site content was working against their business. Their best option was to stick to just one domain name. It saved them the bother of having to defend their company from the negative image c it really cannot seem to overcome on both sides. I am just wondering what their reasons were for keeping a Philippine based url rather than the more general and less identifiable second url. I would have used the second one instead as it has a more general reference, even if it is still regional in identity.

The OP seems tobe in need of anger management classes. He was constantly shouting in his posts when he could have simply had a level headed discussion with all concerned. I definitely would not have wanted to work for such an angry employer. I can only imagine how he treated his employees when the business was still open. I think he went after the wrong market, which is why the business closed. Chinese students are some of the most over prepared students on the planet, at any given level. Those who study in the UK also have strong English written and communication skills. They do not have a need for writing services as negatively implied by the OP. The chinese students let him know.this by not patronizing his company and its services.

Pakistan, historically, was a part of the British Indian empire. Since they were part of an English speaking empire, their educational foundation was no doubt, built upon the UK English language. It is something that continues to this day. While their educational standards may have deteriorated over the decades, they still practice the English language in their daily lives. This is perhaps the reason why they believe that they are capable of writing UK style English essays. They believe they have a good enough grasp of the language to get away with it. Sadly, what they think they can write in English, and the actual product that they produce are two different things.

The company that is advertising these services will definitely do the job cheaply, but will also fail to deliver a qualified paper to the student. Their company website is composed majorly of SEO keywords used to make sure the site will come up in every search engine possible when the relevant keywords are inputted.

The fact that they admit that their writers are cheaply paid assures the student that the writer they will get is not a PhD qualified writer. He may not even be a college graduate based on the way the copy for this site was written. There is no way the student will get a score of at least 85%.

There are just too many obvious reasons why all their claims are false if one actually bothers to examine the website part by part.

Is the student ordering a steak here? Students cannot give instructions to the essay writer as if they were asking a chef to prepare a meal. Whoever thought of this pitch? Who was the non-thinking person who approved it?

What is the purpose of providing an email address that the applicants cannot use to contact the company? What is the intention behind providing this email address on the page then? The writer cannot even follow up his application using this address? Why is the company so afraid to have people use this email address? There are a lot of questions surrounding this email contact. Considering that it is not an actual, physical address that someone may try to go to for some reason, there is no reason to tell people not to use the address. Email addresses are automatically used for contact. If the company does not want to be contacted through this address, then they should not have published it in the first place. Based on this experience, I cannot say that they are a reliable company to work for. They have no idea what an email address is used for.

Have you ever considered posting a message or notice somewhere in your contact / email page about it? Telling them beforehand that you are not soliciting applicants since you work alone could save you time since you won't have to respond to each email individually. Maybe it will end the unsolicited applications submissions that waste your time.

Due to the somewhat fashonable name, the current owner of the website is trying to resell the name as a fashion brand url to the users. Their focus is mostly on female fashion and kids apparrel, no doubt trying to entice the entrepreneur moms to buy the url to get their online business started. The problem, is that there is an actual existing Elizabeth Hall, who could sue if her name is used without her permission. This poses a problem for anyone who would be interested in acquiring the domain name.

Hmm... this noble cause is actually in full implementation within several academic writing companies that I know of. They actually ask the students to indicate if they want an EFL or ESL writer for their paper to help match their writing style and / or level of English word usage. I believe the students prefer this option because it helps them keep up appearances with their teacher with regards to their writing skills. It is a revolution actually whose time has come. However, there need not be 2 classes of writers in this case. The writer merely needs to lower his writing level based on the instructions of the student. Would it be possible for you to post a copy of the conversations you had with them leading up to the lie about the refund? It would help add credibility to your claim about their having scammed you in the event that their company representative comes across your post and decides to belie your claims.

There have also been instances when, as students post negatively about the company in ES, the company rep decides to reach out to the student via the board with an offer to settle the refund claim. It usually works. You may want to give it a try.

The mistake of the OP was paying through a non-refundable service. Never use a payment method that will leave you exposed with no money back guarantees. Even if the company refuses to refund your money, if the payment channel has a chargeback guarantee, you will somehow manage to get even a fraction of the money back. Never use a bank transfer, never use your debit card, never use your credit card. Those are the most difficult payment channels to use in the event of a refund claim. In this case, I bet the OP never saw that money again and no charges were filed against him in any venue. Seriously, the ministry of education? They do not deal with these sorts of problems. They were just trying to scare the OP because they had already laundered the money into an offshore bank account. They never had any intention of returning it.

It would be most helpful to the other students if, aside from the screenshots of the plagiarism reports, the source of the original papers can also be posted as a part of the message. These would help further add to the integrity of the plagiarism claims and also, prove that the plagiarism is real. The reason I am saying this is because these scammers tend to call students disgruntled, lying, and unsatisfied. They will also make claims that you just wanted a refund which was not part of the deal when you signed up for the service. Therefore, proving that he is the one who broke the trust, by plagiarizing others, will be essential to proving your case claiming the owner of the company is a scam. He can always claim the screenshot was just made up, but by posting the original source of the plagiarized essay, that claim cannot be used agains the students posting honest information at this forum.

This is just psych war. They are trying to make you believe that they actually have a legal basis for their claim, which they do not. They cannot retrieve any copyright claim from the university because there is no copyright claim. There was only an intellectual copyright that immediately transferred to you the minute the order was completed through the submission of the document to you. They only submitted a model paper, which was used as the basis of you original presentation. Since you did not use their essay in totality, and you can prove that you had to edit large chunks of the essay, using only their quotes, they cannot claim that they wrote the paper for you either.

It is legal to ask for research help, even pay for the help if needed, provided you have not used the actual paper they submitted to you for a grade. I believe you have nothing to worry about. There are really no worries on your part since they are nothing more than online blackmailers. You can ignore them if you wish or, you may approach your professor and come clean, saying that you used a research service, but wrote the paper yourself. Preemptive movements could help in this case, just to clear your conscience.

These companies always speak as if they are large conglomerates with a battery of lawyers (they do not), they also try to make you believe your have broken laws, which you did not. They only have another employee who knows how to draw up legal sounding and threatening communications. Do not give them any power over you. Ignore them. IMO, that would be the best move for you to take.

The website is a well known essay mill that has been avoided by most Romanian students due to the widespread negative reviews of the site. It has not spread into the English market as fast as it should have because of its limited service scope. Their writer's cannot write in English and prefer to work mostly within the realms of their language limitations. Nobody has had even an iota of a positive experience with them. From what I have heard, the company actually has only 1 writer, the owner of the company, even though he claims otherwise. Based upon the website format, it is clear that he was never out to provide any usable papers to the students. He knew exactly what he was doing and the students, who always vet the company AFTER the fact, hired him because they did not know better. Next time, please check out the background of the company before actually hiring them. It will save you in more ways than one. Thank you for posting the other domain names that they use. The students here will really appreciate this useful warning.

I am not sure where Cite got the information that was posted in the comment box above. It appears that the company is no longer in existence, having taken their server offline, and returning the name to the company it was leased from. The domain is now available again for use in business of any type. The name is being disassociated with academic writing as much as possible. While there has been some interest in the name, the continued existence of the name in company review sites such as ES tends to make the interested party shy away after preliminary inquiries.

The student should have received a plagiarism report from the writing company upon his request. It is standard practice for the companies to submit such a report for the student's reference prior to submitting the essay for a grade. It is not advisable for him to try and run a free software plagiarism checker as that could open up a host of problems for him once the paper is submitted to turnitin. Rather, he should simply trust the system and believe that the paper is all original. Any type of plagiarism checking on his own could result in a red flag once the professor checks it using his own system. In any case, students who want to check for plagiarism these days will do well to go to the writing center of their university and ask for their assistance in using a university approved plagiarism checker. Some universities have their own systems in place these days that the students can use for free, for their peace of mind. Never having to admit that they paid someone to write the paper for them.

Nive trust any company that denies the visitor access to their "contact us" page. I clicked on that link and got an "access denied" notification. Exactly how is a potential client supposed to get more information about the services without any company agent to talk to or email? Precisely. Such companies raise a red flag when communicating with them is literally impossible. That missing link is so important to the business and yet, is completely disregarded by the company owners. The question is " Why?" Perhaps the company is preparing to pack-up and leave the business? Surely they know that being unreachable makes it impossible for them to cater to clients right?

The domain name has been available for sale for several months now. The domain current owner is the one trying to sell it. While the domain may still be used for essay writing, there are also several other usage methods suggested. The owner is casting a wide net to make sure that he can at least, entice enquries. It is quite difficult to resell domain names these days, but not impossible. However, when a domain carries negative baggage.as in this case, selling the name becomes more difficult. The word of mouth is that the name is selling at a discounted price to get around the negative image. Does anybody know if discounted URL's eventually sell? What is the estimated time on that?

The company underwent a name change some time back. Changing from customessays to royalessays for some reason. The crown above the name was a sweet touch but I doubt anybody would mistake the company as having received a royal endorsement of any sort. Such a laughable attempt at legitimacy in the UK. That is not how it works. An icon won't make a questionable compancy legitimate overnight.

By the way, industry experts do not work for the academic writing industry. They have way too much actual work, in their professions, where they are actually leaders and innovators, to spend time writing about trivial foundation topics and courses. They have far more important things to do that earn them the big bucks, not peanuts on the side. Nobody that hires this company will get a subject matter expert. They may get a writer who is knowledgeable about the topic, but definitely not an expert. No academic writer will have the kind of profession focused training that an "expert" requires. You can bet on that.

What sort of writer will you get then? A jack of all trades, master of none will be more like it. If you get a competent writer at all from the company. Do not pay for a "subject expert" writer because is just a blatant lie meant to part an unsuspecting student from his money.

The writer is assigned to the order with only an idea of what the total payment might be. He is not immediately paid. There is a whole process behind receiving the amount involved. First, the writer uploads the completed order and the payment is then floated until after the QAD check. Second, the client downloads the paper and the amount is credited aspending in the usiteis account for 2 weeks. He is only paid in full if no chargebacks are filed within the timeframe. Even companies that payout "weekly" do so only for orders that have already been cleared for the previous 2 weeks.

It is funny how the company advertises itself as "Where the smartest students come to learn" and yet the company has been depending itself from a DDOS for almost a year now. There is no sense in making such an empty claim. St is empty since nobody can access the website. The future of this company is uncertain. It is niether here nor there.It exists, but is out of service. What reason do the owners have for continuing to pay for the server space and domain name? The business is non existent at this point and is just a financial bleed for those invested in it.
