The company assures the student that: You do not have to worry while we are writing your academic paper - you have full control over the writing process. As far as I know, the student can only have full control over the writing process if the student himself writes the paper. He cannot control how the writer will approach the development of the paper beyond the instructions that the student provided at the start of the job.

Full control. Is that an alternative reference to "you surely need at least 7 revisions to your paper"? The student will only be able to complain about the writing results and "control" the paper during the revision stage, not the writing stage. Sara Kao is a pretty much generic Asian name. It is as common as Tom Jones in reference. I was intrigued by the name and thought I would do a Google Search for this writer's profile. What I found was that the name was probably chosen by the Asian (?) writer because the name is more associated with a responsible occupation. The real Sara Kao is a medical doctor at reputable American hospitals. As such, we should never associate with academic writing of any sort. That is beneath her as a professional. The name was chosen most likely because the Google Search would mislead the searcher into thinking that the fake Sara Kao and the real one are the same person.

While this company is truly questionable, and the commendations from major British newspapers should not be believed or taken with a grain of salt (newspapers will never endorse academic writing companies regardless of its location. They are against the practice of hiring ghost writers for academic or professional purposes), they somehow manage to stay in the business. Yes, there are conflicting reviews for the services of this company. Yes, there are notable negative experiences but, there are also considerable positive results that students can consider. It appears that there is truly an exodus of negatively perceived writing companies on the web. Looking deeper into the problem shows me that the companies mostly went offline recently. Several of these domain names are owned by the same person / umbrella company, which indicates financial problems within the administration of the business. Trying to keep several business names afloat simultaneously, even if these all lead to the same server can pose a problem when it comes to refunding orders. Order refunds are the most common reason that these companies go out of business. They produce such lousy work that their rate of refund is higher than the rate of satisfied orders.

The domain name is currently for sale with a tutorial attached. The seller actually explains what the domain represents by hawking the various services that can be offered under the business url. What does this method of selling represent or mean? It represents the original owners of the site still being in control of the domain name, but unwilling to go into business using the url. While the company may have a few positive reviews, the negative opinions of the services offered far outweigh the positives. Money is not coming in. The solution? Sell the business name and cut your losses. It is only the business name being sold, that does may not represent a total pull-out of the owners from the academic writing business though. It is always easy to buy another domain name, without changing about the internal workings of the company.

Just a toll free number is used to mislead and cover for the company's actual location. since both companies serve the same master, I have a feeling that the owner did this based on lawyer advice. Regardless of the location issue, it appears that both companies are doing fine since neither have been taken down at any given instance.

It is better to not limit yourself to verified UK writing companies because all the writing companies work with students across the globe. Writers will find themselves presented with orders from the UK, USA, Australia, and Canada. Writers should work where they find themselves hired, and then choose their orders from within. The company does not control what orders you choose to apply for, but they do control the order assignments. Just make sure to pick orders based on personal preferences so you and the company can meet halfway. It is difficult to verify company locations. That would make it more difficult for a writer to find a company to connect with.

For any writer who would like to continue working for companies due to personal preferences, it would be better if you do not stay with one company for too long. Consider changing companies every one to two years. This is normally the work partnership range wherein problems do not yet arise with payment values. Changing companies will keep your status as a newcomer permanent, since you are always new at a company. I am confused. Are they selling themselves as a professional writing company? sounds more to me like they are more involved in the mental healthcare business. Which is which? The truth is, most students end up with mental stress issues having to deal with the writers of this company. Why? The writers misunderstand the instructions more than half the time, leading to extra expenses on the part of the student who has to find a more competent writing service or privately contracted writer towards the deadline of the paper. The client does not get ample support, help, or understanding at all. Not where refunds are concerned.

Writer payment has always been an issue for this company. That is probably the main reason why newbie writers fill most of their staff positions. The inexperienced work there while they do not have a clue about proper cost per page pricing, dignified labor practices / writer treatment, and other employment related concerns. Once the newbie is enlightened, a career move takes place to a company that treats their writers a little better. Then the cycle begins anew. There will always be new writers in this business and this company will usually be their first step / baptism of fire.

With their paid copy providing laughable SEO keyword after keyword, it is obvious that the company is best only at providing inferior work. Rather than asking that question of the writers here, some of whom have vested interests in speaking ill of competitors (as can be seen in the content of this thread), it would be more advisable for students who are interested in hiring the company to talk to their reps directly and then proceed to test the service with a simple order first. The company did not even try to hide the relationship since the same template is used for both layouts, with the same blurbs but differing video testimonials. simply changing the testimonial actors does not change the company identity. not when the sites borrow content from one another 99% of the time. The websites have some sort of direct relationship. Both are currently offline but for different reasons. One has the server offline and the other is trying to preventa DDS on its currently renovating site. This is too much of a coincidence if you ask me. Both sites are definitely suspect. It is the same scam using varying aliases. Lucky for the students that the offline status for both site domains means they just avoided being scammed.

@Imnissiv I sincerely doubt that the scam and non-legit websites will ever disappear. For every scam site that is taken out, at least 2 take its place, usually run by the same people. They will use a new website name, refer to a different company blurb, and highlight their "unique" services, all while using the same old server and same set of unreliable writers. It will always be the responsibility of the student / service seeker to investigate or at least, vet the company and its writers for competence before hiring them. While the services will continue to evolve into the future, the old problems may just take on a new shape or representation online because there are only a handful of players , both legitimate and illegitimate, that exist in this field.

Why did this person post a threat to the students, whom he did not have any problem with? His issue was with the company so the students should have been left out of the situation. It is not like these writers were not passing off plagiarized work as their own anyway. There was no reason for this at all. Instead, the unpaid writers should have gone on strike. Leaving the work in the server and not touching it till their demands were met. That is how it would have worked in a unionized world. Which the academic writing industry does not function in. There are no unions to protect the writers interests. Therefore sabotaging the company, and letting people know about it, accomplishes nothing. We should still thank this person just the same though. His warning at least told the students that the company is bad and he practically admitted that the work they produce is shabby anyway. No way the students were going to take orders from someone with only basic English writing skills.

Yes, the price varies per discipline. The more advanced the writing level, the more expensive the per page cost becomes. That is because the factors for manpower hours, information sourcing, transportation (when necessary), and other considerations come into play for the writer. That is a misconception on the part of most students. All the writers remain independent because they do not have a formal work contract involved with the writing company. So, it would appear that they are middle-men for the freelancers. However, the company runs the backroom or office aspect of the business for the freelances. This includes client contact, payment collection, and mediation (when necessary as in the case of revisions). Middle-men they are not. I view them more as a business partner who pays for half the bills I would have paid for if I were in the business alone. These shouldered expenses include running the server, promoting the service (not necessarity the writer), and basically, just building the business. Actions I would not have the time to do accurately if I were a one person office.

The company seems to have a dumbed down opening page that was written by obvious ESL writers. While their work may be suspicious to some, the owners have gone to great lengths to erase any suspicions that their potential client may have. One of their methods is to offer the interested party a "sample paper" from the assigned writer. The "draft" of the actual order can be provided to the client within 6 hours (or so they claim). I believe that this is being done to assure the client that a competent and reliable writer has been assigned to the paper, even before they receive payment. While other writers and companies do not offer this service, I can see reason behind this logic.

The idea is to show the client that the writer assigned has extensive knowledge on the topic and will be able to provide a useful short form of the paper to the client on short notice. This then becomes the basis of the student for hiring the service (or not). Not a bad way of doing business. The writer gets to prove his worth to the client. The client, gets an assurance that the writer that is assigned to the paper actually has working brain cells.

If you ask me, this is not a bad way of choosing the writing company and writer. Taking the writer fo a test drive ( I know he isn't a car, but he does offer a service that has qualifications involved), is not a bad thing. It makes good business sense on both ends. I am not saying all writers should do this. What I am saying is, it works in the current business model of things. It is not, a service all writers would be comfortable offering though and they should not do it, if they are not convinced they have to.

It has been almost 12 years since WB went radio silent at this forum. His profile has also been cancelled, which is why it is unclickable. I believe he is no longer a part of nor working in the academic writing industry and has taken pains to become a private citizen at this point. Which explains the profile deletion but not the post deletion. I think the forum reserves the right to keep all of his posts in all the threads until they decide to remove it. The work WB did at this site definitely helped a lot of students avoid problems with their assessment of essay writing services, although his mode of doing so did leave a bad taste in the mouth most of the time. I guess that can be attributed to the way that the forum was really in its infancy at that point and was more of a wild west then than it is today. A mode of decorum exists now exists (most of the time) within poster interactions that was truly lacking in the past.

Mods, why isn't anybody in charge of tracking these site domains for validity ? This is not the first time that a no longer existing domain has been left as an active thread. It is starting to get ridiculous at this point. Where is the sense in warning students about companies that no longer exist?

This company has been out of business for so long that the domain is currently up for sale. That makes all of the discussions in this thread moot. There is no useful information contained herein since the owner in question has already closed shop.

It also appears that there is a lack of interest among the newcomers to the industry with regards to the name. There are no potential takers hence, there is no existing threat to students from this company.

If the company in question is essaybay-usa then the students might be happy to hear that they no longer use the escrow method of payment. It appears that they stopped using the escrow model of payment when they underwent the domain name change. There were too many problems associated with the escrow system, that made their services appear highly questionable to most students. They now prefer to be paid via PayPal and will only assign a writer once the payment has cleared PayPal. That is good news. While I still do not trust the company as a reliable one, the fact that they use Paypal means the students are better protected against criminal financial acts on the part of the company due to the protection service of Paypal. Again, if the company I mentioned is the right one, then deal with them carefully, if you choose to do so.

I never implied anything. I merely pointed out that the overall academic writing industry has been going into a new and different direction from the old school way of doing things. The business is evolving into something new as the needs of the students and teaching industry continues to adjust to the changing educational landscape brought about by the pandemic. The last 2 services are the services that help the student look like they actually wrote the paper, even though it is highly obvious to the professor that the student did not have any sort of participation in the completion of the written project. It normally leaves the professors and teachers scratching their heads when the otherwise low performing students suddenly turn in knowledgable papers and, upon interview, somehow comes across as believable when responding to questions during an "oral" report or academic integrity questioning. Well, the proliferation of online and physical tutoring services for one thing. This aspect pertains to the gradeschool to high school education of the students. The teachers themselves advice that students get extra study help during the week to help them keep up with homework, research, projects, and allow for lesson clarification. This is the system by which a writer is paid his full amount of salary for the current month, only to have the same amount deducted the next month in the form of penalties and refunds. Leaving the writer with almost a 0 payout for that month. This is the current and most common practice among these companies at the moment.

The student should never trust a free plagiarism checking service in the first place. Not unless that service is located on the school server, which is run by the school's IT department. Professors and teachers alike prefer to use university recommended plagiarism checkers and advise their students to do the same. TurnItIn is the most popular plagiarism checking site out there, but it is not the only one, as we can see from the existence of this pretender. TurnItIn works closely with academicians towards ensuring that plagiarism does not exist in any studen'ts submitted paper. While they do keep a database of student papers, these are not resold nor used against the student in the future. A scenario that is a distinct possiblity when one uses these Ukranian based services.

They are claiming to pay at least $4 per page these days. Which we all know to be untrue. They are paying less than $2 per page at the moment. The reason? They are claiming that there are not that many orders these days and they need to adjust their prices to entice clients. The other reason? The business won't pay for itself so they have to prioritize the fees that need to be paid to keep the business online. Those are the reasons that they provide to their writers. We all know that is total BS. They can afford to pay more, even if they pay up to $20 per page. They just do not want to. Why should they pay out properly when the writers do not complain about the "feed the birds" cost per page they recieve?

There is no academic honesty to be compromised. Students, regardless of their learning level, have always received help from someone during their academic career. Ever since the formalization of the educational system, students have had help from advanced learners, or people simply willing to help them through one form or another. Be it their parents, siblings, paid tutors, or hired writers, students will admit that they have always had academic help / support ever since they hit kindergarten. Does that compromise academic integrity? I do not think so, specially not in today's highly competitive academic world. There are just too many papers to complete, projects to submit, lectures to attend, and real life problems to deal with for them to not have any academic writing help. If we can help clear their plate while they try to accomplish other tasks, then we have done them a great service. It isn't like we are printing fake diplomas or certificates of completion for them. That would be a clear compromising of academic integrity.

The website is finally back online. This time, they claim to have evidence of their company actually existing as a legal business entity in the UK. There are problems with their claims though. First, anybody can register an overseas company in another country or, make up the information based on openly available samples. Will double checking the credentials of their business registration help the students? Yes, but seriously, will any student bother to actually spend to triple check the information? Second, they posted a Google Earth photo of their "location". Note that this is an aerial view with streetmarkings, but no actual office space being shown with the company name. There is no proof that their office actually exists at the UK location they have chosen to use. Are they really existing at that address? Don't bet your Google location map on it.

The website is currently out of service. The official message on the anchor page says "Sorry, our website is currently awaiting preparation". If anybody hires a company that uses text like that for its opening page, then you are a fool who will soon be willingly parted with his money. For anybody with a working brain, they will easily see why such a presentation will be highly problematice for a student looking for a writing service that specializes in UK law research. They tried, but failed to represent themselves as a UK based writing company from this very page alone. It is not enough to be able to write in English, their writers will have to write in proper UK English. Something that this blurb alone, proves that their writers will be unable to do.
