It is far more difficult now to find an academic writing job. I would not advise that anybody try to apply for a writer's job at the moment. It is not a human writer's market right now. Even the writing companies are shifting their business models to AI, which is far cheaper and more income generating for the business owners. If you have a code that actually churns out a usable, yet simplistic essay, they you can charge for the service, without having to split the earnings with the human writer on the other end.

Adding my own opinion to this thread. I believe that one can avoid the problem of self plagiarism by simply acknowledging that the very start that the paper you are writing is going to be an updated version of your previous high school paper or, a continuation of that research. It is a matter of acknowledging the original source of the idea, which was the high school paper of the student, which will be used as the basis of the new essay. This should allow him to reuse sections of the original essay without being accused of self plagiarism. Just frame it in a way that acknowledges your original writing and everything should be fine.

Just like the other bad academic writing company players our there, essayacademia is now no longer in service. Not as a writing company anyway. It fell into the hands of some Asian online gambling company that hopes the students who accidentally come across the site because of the misdirected url will stay to play a few rounds. Their intent is to make the students lose the money they earmarked for essay writing services. Anyway, the fact that the company is not longer present in its original service form means that is one less con company we have to worry about.

I was an English major in college. It was a bit difficult for me to find employment after I graduated because I had a "jack of all trades" degree, which meant I had a useless degree since it led only to feeder masters courses, but not necessarily actual jobs. I was looking for any job that would have me at that point. Online job hunting was new at the time and the digital academic writing field was relatively new. I came across a writing website one day. decided to try my luck and submit my resume, I received a testing link via email, did the test, and got the job. That was my job for the next 20 years of my life, prior to my striking out on my own.

I guess the experience that was shared on this thread fell upon deaf ears. The company is still in existence and seems to be doing well enough to require a redesign of their website. They do not seem to be relying on an AI transition in their company so maybe, just maybe, they are actually delivering a better service these days. It may even be possible that they have enough base clients to keep their company afloat which is why they claim to have a pool of almost 500 writers. Regardless, if they are doing a better job now then I applaud them and I hope that they continue to do well in the business. We need more human writers for these academic papers.

Writing companies have all but shut down their hiring at the moment. They are trying to cut their losses by pivoting to the educational AI model. If that is at all possible for them. The problem is not the lack of talented writers, the problem is that the students are shying away from hiring human writers. They prefer to place their trust in an AI model which may or may not deliver as they expect. Some students are becoming well versed in the use if AI for their research papers so that they are able to clean up the paper themselves already and create a mostly usable and grade worthy paper for submission, as a fraction of the cost of hiring a human writer.

Each academic writer has his own line of specialization that makes him an expert on the topic. That is his comfort zone where he can easily help a client and offer his best work for a more than satisfactory grade. However, even expert writers in the STEM field tend to think twice about writing a paper for a student when it involves heavy reading and creating an acceptable conclusion. If there is too much in terms of reading material and writing, then the writers may tend to second guess their ability to complete the paper and refuse to develop it for the potential client.

It would appear that after all of the venting that the client did at this forum, his complaints were not resolved to his satisfaction. Whatever a satisfying outcome would mean for him. Why do I say that? He stopped posting midstream. He seems to have suddenly lost interest in his quest to shut down CP or, at least exact some sort of revenge upon the company. There are still human academic writers willing to work in the business. The problem now, is that AI has pushed them out of the market for the most part. Even though AI churns out unusable papers, the students still prefer to use the technology for some reason. AI is going to become a more integral part of essay research and writing over the coming years so academic writers will do best to upskill their writing abilities so that they can work in a different field that AI has not taken over yet. Copywriting is also being taken over by AI so maybe the best bet for writers at this point would be working in the VA business. I do not believe that has been taken over by AI yet.

I agree with Cite's opinion. Even today the students need the help of this website to sift through the remaining independent academic writers and academic writing companies. So pointing out the reliable ones should not be an issue. I want to add that we should also point these students away from the AI based academic writing companies because the code used to develop those programs does not work. The codes were also developed by an AI program so it became a case of "trash in, trash out", leaving the students holding the garbage bag.

The domain name is no longer for sale. Rather, it is now presented as "Server not found". I guess someone was crazy enough to buy the url for a hefty price. It might come back in the guise of an AI guided academic writing website. That seems to be the pivot that most of these companies have chosen to follow these days. By joining the academic AI bandwagon, they hope to develop proprietarial software that they can use to mine for new and fresh essays as students pay for the AI essay generation service.

That is nothing new. Fishy academic writing websites have been promoting themselves for decades now in one guise or another. They are just becoming more adept at promoting themselves because of the existence of AI which allows them to manipulate things to their benefit. They can even have the code write promotional reviews for them and come up with the free to use stock footage. Thanks for calling our attention to what this company is doing. The students looking for honest academic writing sites surely appreciate this.

The company uses stock footage as a part of their testimonials. So we can expect that their positive rave reviews are not on the level. Even more questionable is that they are asking us to check out their FB page for additional reviews. We all know how reliable those FB reviews are right? I would steer clear of this company because of their questionable reviews and practices..

The second to the last post in this thread was actually trying to be helpful. I wonder why the student never came back to tell us what happened to his order. It is really difficult to judge a company based on other people experiences. There is a lack of balance when all of the reviews are negative. There should be at least one or two positive comments regarding the service for proper consideration balance.

Prescott Papers is another company that relocated to linkedIn. I am not sure how reliable a writing company with only 3 employees can be. While they claim to have 11-50 employees, everything about their information tends to prove otherwise. Do not automatically trust companies that are housed on linkedIn. There are also negative players at that employment website.

I wonder if it is truly beneficial to pay in Australian dollars for the students who hire this company. I do not know if the students realize they are not paying in US dollars. The company claims to be based in Sydney, Australia but I cannot confirm their location via Maps, Waze, or Petals. So if anybody has had any experience with this company either as a client or writer, please step forward and share what you know about this company. We will all thank you for it.

The company has moved to the comfort and safety of Facebook for their company url. They exist only in the social media realm,, which makes me question their actual location and their writers skills. FB is not exactly known for being the home of totally reputable companies. Despite their community guidelines, some dark players still manage to get on board their platform.

Actually, the rise of AI has increased the use of pre-written essays as the people that program the AI with information look to their old academic papers to "educate" the AI program. There are companies, writing companies, that have taken to paying their writers for their previously written essays to help "educate" their AI models. The market for pre-written papers does not involve students at the moment. It involves writing companies that are trying to develop a paid AI writer model for their company.

The url actually redirects to a LinkedIn profile at the moment. The company owner has been hawking his writing company over at that website. I do not think he understands how linkedIn works and that there is no academic or student community to mine over there. Students do not go to linkedIn in search of independent writers. They would have better luck checking FB for independent writers or up and coming academic writing companies.

The company, if it indeed was using 2 domain names directing to only 1 business, has gone offline. Both domains names are now for sale for the next person to use. I do not think these domain names will sell these days though. Writing companies are drowning under the threat of AI taking over the job of academic writing, even though AI cannot really write any useful essays for students.

GoDaddy actually owns this domain name now and it is up for sale. There is no such company actively working in the academic writing field at this moment. I take it the company was affected by the rise of AI since they had writers in their employ instead of being direct, independent writers.

Based upon what I have seen regarding professional business writers (or otherwise) at this forum, there was a time when there was more than just 1 active writer at this forum. I do not count myself as one of the active writers here because I have been retired for quite some time now. I will leave the writing jobs to those who really need the clients. I haven't seen another active writer at this forum over the past year or so. I do not know the reason why. Where did they all go?

Freelance writers have enough of a problem getting orders with only one existing account these days. So it won't make any sense for them to get a secondary account with the writing company. Even before Ai became a writing trend, the companies were already discouraging writers from getting secondary accounts at the same company. I also do not think it makes sense for a writer to get a secondary account at the same company because it will not resolve their writing order problems.

I think this company is about to go under. I checked the website and there were no active orders listed, there were only 2 active writers while 20 were online. This is not a good sign for the company. There are only 2 reasons a company would not have any active orders on the server. First, the company could be losing out to AI written essays, which means their orders might start picking up after enough students get tired of the useless essays that AI writes. The second reason, is that the reputation of the company as one of the worst employers and not exactly having good quality writers to begin with has already become very well known in the writing community, thus turning off students from working with the company. Either way, I believe we will be free of this in due time.

I tend to LOL each time I read that an academic writing company claims to have "the UK's top academic writers in your subject area". That claim alone should warn everyone that they are running a scam. It does not take a rocket scientist to know that the top academicians will not be wasting their time writing academic essays for a pittance. They will be too busy with their notable careers to bother with academic writing for students. Their writing skills are far beyond that and, they are already paid top dollar by the schools where they actually do research and write academic articles for publication.

While some of these websites remain active today, I do not encourage anybody to hire the services of those companies. The first reason is because the mother company is located in Pakistan, meaning their English levels will not be up to the international standards. The second reason, is that these may be scam companies in disguise. Pakistan is not exactly known for being on the level when it comes to dealing with their clients, regardless of the business. It is always best to stay away from the writing companies known to be holding office in that region of the world. You already know that you are asking for trouble if you hire them, so do the right thing and avoid working with them. You have been warned so it is up to you to protect yourself from this point on.

There is no sense in discussing this company as if it were still in business because it not only went out of business, it went into a totally new business under new management. I guess FLW is right. These offshore gaming companies buy these domain names in the hopes of enticing a student to spend a few bucks in the online game and hopefully, getting some new gamblers on board in the process. Don't do it kids. I am not promoting the gambling site in any way, shape, or form. Do not gamble your money away on this. Use it to get proper educational writing help from a human being.

The address for this website can no longer be found. The company is therefore, out of business, if it even started as an online writing company at all. There are no reviews or comments to be found about this site on any forum or search engine. Perhaps it was just an idea that the OP wanted to sell. Failing to take off, he decided to abandon the business altogether.

I guess the company that tried to spoof Freelancewriter's identity did not last long. There was no sense in their continuing to pretend to be him since he has a long standing reputation at this forum. Granted that the clients are now few and far between, I believe that he has a pretty easy to remember username and is good for business. Provided the business is not struggling as it is these days.

Paypal, money transfers, even ewallets are prone to these scams. It is not even limited to writing companies and freelancers. These spoof emails cast a wide net. News programs are constantly reminding people to be vigilant of these scams. Now they are spoofing GMail as well. All we can do is be extra careful and not click on links in any email. We have to educate ourselves when it comes to identifying spoof emails.

Paypal renewed their writing relationship with writers and writing companies. I think they cut off the relationship in the past because they had no way of controlling the flow of payment nor how to identify it in their system. The users were confused trying to send payments and refunds were difficult to file. That is why they developed the digital services payment section at Paypal. it resolved the payment and refund situation for all concerned.

When considering hiring a writing service or essay writer, do it in the following order:

1. Independent human writer
2. Essay writing company
3. AI written essay

You would do better having humans write your essay than an AI. While AI is the simplest and most cost efficient way to get your paper done, it is not the best way to go about doing it. You will end up with a human writer in the end.

No worries. They cannot act on the threats since they are an illegal company acting in a criminal manner in your home country. These are empty blackmail threats that they use on students, who often pay up out of fear that they will be reported to their school. Forget the threats. Send it directly to spam and never think about it again. They can only win if you actually try to negotiate with them so don't do that.

Since AI can produce text that is acceptable to students, not necessarily the teachers, and AI removes their worry about academic blackmail, the students prefer AI written essays over the human written ones. Human writers need to now prove not only their writing acumen, but also their true knowledge in terms of subjects they were hired to write and also, the writers and writing companies need to prove that they are not scams or blackmailer. These considerations make it more demanding to be a human academic writer these days.

It appears that they shut themselves down. Both domain names are no longer actively registered and the writers for both companies, based upon my sources, have already moved on to other writing jobs. Some have turned to becoming online tutors in English (god help their students), and others, have become VA professionals (how they get their job done is beyond me). Let's just wish their writers well in whatever profession they currently find themselves in.
