They do not have any legal leg to stand on. They are only scaring you to get money out of you. They cannot contact any department at your university, not even the cleaning department. You do not have any written agreement with them, they are offering an illegal service, they are blackmailing you. You should counter threaten them with exposure, by naming them on this board for starters, and also seeking electronic mediation through online mediation companies and procedures, to get your money back. You have done the right thing. Look into online mediation to get your refund. Students have successfully used such services in the past both in the UK and USA.

The domain name is no longer responding to handshakes. So the site is off the server, but the domain name remains active. I guess the domain will remain that way until the registration expires. It is no longer a threat to any student, or any computer at this point. It no longer exists as an online essay writing company.

I don't know. I cannot trust a website that has copy seemingly written by an AI using the worst language translator available. This does not bode well for any student that might be considering writing their services. An ENL student would know the difference, an ESL? I do not think they know the English language well enough to tell the difference. For the sake of turning in a truly good paper, I would not suggest using this service. Well, ok. I would suggest this service for ESL students only and by that, I mean the ones who can really barely speak the language.

When a 50% discount has been on "special offer" for more than 2 years, that does not make it a discount anymore. That is the actual cost of the paper that the company is charging. Since the papers are so cheap, I would wonder about the quality of work the writers of this company would be providing. It is important to note that discount essay mill papers do not come with a degree of high quality. It is normally just bad to so-so. Do not expect any high quality of A level work with this type of service. Not at those prices.

It all boils down to a uniformity in the final product. The writing style must be the same throughout the paper otherwise, the teacher may get a hint that the student did not write the paper. That is why writers who continue the work fo previous writers prefer to write their own version from scratch. It is not to belittle the previous writer, but it is to shield the client from potential problems arising from the sudden change in writing styles. Teachers notice these changes, it is a dead giveaway that the student used a writing mill to complete the task.

Essay Services / Essay Council...Is it a scam [17]

The website no longer exists. The domain name is up for sale. We should be thankful that the company proved all of the negative comments in this thread to be right. They did everyone a service by going out of business. Whether they ran out of money or ran out of writers does not matter. What matters is that they are no longer going to be doing a disservice to the students looking for an honest writer to work with.

Did anybody bother to read the copy of the website? Does a shoddy job of representing any potential output for the writers of the company. They write in run-on sentences. They have no idea how to compose a coherent idea / sentence, and they fail to consider that the words on that page represent the image they are trying to convey. They are not a company worth paying services for. They will obviously not do a very good job with any paper they might be contracted to write.

The company claims to hire ENL writers who are US and UK educated. Now, I will not get into the US system anymore since that is up for debate. However, there is evidence that any company doing business in the UK, or assisting UK students in skirting the anti essay mill of the country will be prosecuted. So maybe do not hire a company that openly flaunts that they are violating the laws of the UK when it comes to student integrity / honest. It is important that UK students do not violate these laws for their own benefit. They do not want their certifications cancelled later on if they are found to have violated the laws while they were students.

The fact that the company does not have reliable reviews and they require a person to pay just to see the sample work of a writer makes me question the credibility of this company. Their onsite reviews sound highly polished. More like it was written for them rather than having a real user give an honest review of their writer skills and services. I cannot understand why they are selling the writer samples to the students when the student is considering hiring the writer anyway. Shouldn't that be free, but protected on the site so the student cannot save, copy, and paste the work fo the writer? How else will a student consider a writer for a project if he cannot see the writing samples?

It is so funny that you are claiming to be a student looking for services at this forum when the reality is that you are a company representative advertising a writing company. Next time, please be straight with the students at this forum. Tell us who you really are and what you represent. Nobody will fault you for promoting the website, all we ask is that you be transparent with the student so they can make informed decisions when considering hiring the services of your company.

Regarding the capstone project, you may refer to useful resources like essayjob.com/capstone.

I noticed that the company has decided to attach reviews of their services from various "valid" sources. It appears that they are using these reviews as a come on for their clients. Do not believe these reviews. These were completed by the company writers and owners themselves posing in various roles and under aliases. They have paid to make sure that the negative press that truly accompanies their website in terms of honest reviews get buried. Remember, even one negative review should outweight the positives you read.

Obviously no offence intended here but if a site is selling UK essays should it not be UK graduates?

Actually... NO. There is actually an updated anti essay mill law in the UK that covers this particular situation. It is illegal to engage in the academic writing business or engage pay for hire writers of any sort. So this question is actually irrelevant at this point. Do not engage any writer, whether UK or international based if you are a UK based student. The law does not exempt any student and there is documentation that the law has actively gone after the violators of this law and actually won as plaintiffs.

According to the latest information about this website, the domain name has just recently expired without renewal by the owner. The registered businessowner still has a pocket of time to keep ownership of the company name, if he chooses to do so. Since he allowed the name to expire, my guess is he has no intention of renewing the name. With the academic writing business seriously affected by the writing AI apps, the writing companies and even individual writers have been struggling to stay afloat. The students would rather trust an app these days than have to pay writers and writing companies without any guaranteed results.

It sounds to me like they are in the process of shutting down both their physical and online presence. There is a high probabity that they were caught in violation of the law in England and were forcibly shut down by law. Not wanting to affect their business name, which they no doubt would try to sell, they will make it appear that the office is merely reorganizing at this point. I would really love to find out what is really going with the company. I would love to see one of the UK violators really get caught and be made to pay for their crime which, contrary to their opinion, is not a victimless crime.

If they have to assure you their company is not a fraud, you should believe that they are. Specially in this business where you do not know whom or if you can truly trust a company or person. The spin they tried to place on the refund does not make sense. They had absolutely no intention of giving a refund. They just wanted to string the OP along, hoping he would eventually give up on the refund claim.

While an entire PhD dissertation can be outsourced to any team of writers or a single writer, depending upon the preference of the client, it is not advisable to have someone else write this sort of paper for you. I realize that a PhD student would be tremendously busy with regards to various course requirements, he must take a keen interest in completing this paper himself. That is because his actual exposure during the course of study will be crucial to the completion of the paper. While a hired writer or pool of writers can be sent information for use in writing, that does not assure you that they will properly understand and use the information. What outsourcing could lead to is a neverending series of revisions and a choppy writing presentation that you may fail to find useful in the end.

Based on the required qualifications for their writers, they will not come across some UK educated writers to hire. That is because their requirements indicate that they need to have writers of the highest academic level, who, if they are educated that well in the UK, will most certainly not be working for 3rd rate academic writing companies. They would not be mentoring any student from the UK based on a pittance of a salary. They would be working with legitimate companies within their educational training. It is best to not allow this company to deceive anybody into believing that it is a legitimate UK based company. It just isn't believable.

Writing companies are actually losing out to the true freelancer market these days. The lines of Upwork, LinkedIn, and other job hunting sites have allowed writers to sell themselves directly to clients of the academic and professional kind. Students have come to start looking for their writers in those pools already because it is easier to assess the writer qualifications and talk to the writer about hiring from those channels than if they used a writing company. The time is fast coming when writing companies will become irrelevant already as writers move to the more desirable hiring channels. So it is no longer advisable to look for writing companies to freelance for. That is a 20th century to early 21st century work concept that has lost its usability in the new era of electronic / digital based education.

@a1writer can you confirm if this company is actually in the UK? Their registered / published business address is:

Turner House
9-10 Mill Lane
Alton
Hampshire
GU34 2QG

The reason I ask is because the services they offer are in direct defiance of the UK writing laws. Perhaps they are in one of those areas that, as I recall, may not be covered by the law? You seem to have indicated before that the law covers only specifics areas of the UK. Did I remember that right?

The scam lives on at a higher level now as the owner of the company has created a linkedIn profile to continue selling his business. You would think that linkedIn would be more careful about the people and companies they allow on their hiring platform. Students need to be aware of this.

Academic laws in those states have already criminalised, penalized students who buy term papers along with the independent writers or writing companies. Regardless of the copyright, the crime of academic dishonesty and / or contract cheating will not and cannot be erased. Schools now take appropriate action in such proven instances. Do not mislead the students into thinking that it is alright to violate any laws. Specially when clear laws covering specific violations exist.

The company now claims "For those pursuing personal development, our company is also the right choice since we offer numerous interesting projects and opportunities for self-improvement." It appears that they do not understand the meaning of personal development and self-improvement. This dead end job has nothing to do with those aspects of personal life and development. The job only offers intellectual development, for those who are trying to make it a lifelong quest to learn as much as they can, outside of the confines of an academic building, but based on varied interests of the writer. Do not let the website fool you though. They are not a well admired writing company in the academic writing circle. They are competing with other 3rd world companies for the title of "Worst academic writing service" and also "Worst academic writer employer" with other shady writing companies.

If a writer begins his career with a writing company, it is the company that will determine the number of pages you will be writing for a client. They normally start out their new writers with single page high school level papers, increasing the word count and field exposure as time progresses. You normally have to complete several papers at a certain quality rate before you can move on to the next level, with increased page numbers. That process cannot be rushed for writers who do not actually have a writing background. It will also depend upon the English proficiency of the writer. The better he writes in English, the more pages he can produce for a client.

It is because of situations like these that Paypal has started placing holds on payments received by electronic service providers. They do not immediately release the payments to the service providers until after a month has passed to make it easier to settle disputes. It is no longer difficult to get money back from scammers.

Essay Services / Is there a site that I can trust? [63]

The blogspot address that was previously mentioned is now offline. I guess the writer did not find it usable for the purpose it was intended. It may have been, as previously indicated, a one time creation just to get the business from the OP. Not that it was a bad thing to do. I just wonder why the writer did not pursue the academic writing business since the blog was already set up and everything. Well, everyone has their reasons. Who are we to question it? Anyway, as far as finding a site that can be trusted, it is important to note that scammers also exist in this forum and they are difficult to tell from the legitimate ones. Students must do their due diligence before hiring any writer. More importantly, the student must be informed as to whether the writer or company being hired is familiar with the anti-essay mill writing laws in the country of the student. That is to help prevent possible expulsion or academic litigation on the part of the student.

I do not believe their information about their writers for any reason. The dead giveaway? They claim to have the best writers of varying academic levels, they assure your grades, but then offer free unlimited revisions. If your writers are that good, then why the unlimited revisions? Shouldn't they stand by their claim that they have excellent writers on staff, within an international pool? Why are they contradicting their own quality upon delivery? Something does not make sense about this site. The whole page is also anchored for SEO optimization, which means they developed the page with the intention of scamming the students. I would stay away from this company if I were you.

I bet that the OP decided to ignore the emails from the blackmailer. It would seem like a no-brainer in this case since he actually did not do any move that would be considered a successful contracting of the writing service for his paper. Since no money exchanged hands and he submitted a totally different paper to the university, he is in no danger of being exposed for academic dishonesty or contract cheating. Gumtree was just trying to test the waters, without really knowing how that blackmail game works.

Data analysisYour website claims : UK-BASED CERTIFIED AND PROFESSIONAL CIPD ASSIGNMENT HELP. This is a false claim.

A UK based writing company will know that they cannot make this claim and get away with it. Not with all of the rules in place to prevent the hiring of any kind of academic writing service. You should come clean and tell the students where you are really located.

You are not in the UK because you do not know that you cannot do business this way in the country.

Students should be aware that they are hiring a fraud at this point. It is misrepresenting itself as a UK based company. Deal with them at your own risk. They cannot deliver what you need from them.

Not to mention, they are violating UK academic laws, which will jeopardize your own academic future should you hire them.

So, tried to gain access to the aforementioned website and got an Access Denied message. It said that I, for some unknown reason, was not allowed to access essaywriter.org. Which leads me to question, how does that company relate to essaytrust? Why are they banning certain IPs from accessing the site? What are they trying to hide? Why are they trying to hide it? There is something very untrustworthy about this site. Those who can access it should beware of dealing with them for any sort of writing work.

The oldest scam in the book. You should turn the tables on them and tell them that reporting you to the school authorities will only serve to make it easier for the school academic board to track them down and sue them based on cademic laws of your country. When they threaten to take you down, threaten to take them down with you. That should stop them in their tracks. It worked for a student I know of. The blackmailer stopped emailing him after he threatened them back.

Make sure that the writing companies are not in direct violation of any anti essay mill or contract cheating laws in your country. Only If they can assure you that they are not putting your academic future at risk by. Isolating those laws should you hire a writing company or an independent writer.

Essay Services / Opinion on academon.com? [42]

There was a period of time last year when this url still directed to a somewhat active webpage. It was an anchor page that told us the site was undergoing some sort of work and would be back shortly. That has now been replaced by a blank page and a constantly trying to connect to url indicator. The site is officially dead. It has lost its use these days anyway. There are way too many better essay banks to buy essays from, not to mention AI that can whip up a sample essay without much effort. I doubt this company will still find a way back to relevance and activity.

As I still have a problem accessing this website, and I do not know much about the company aside from what I can see from my web browser, I will refrain from making any comments about the site. Instead, I will ask the students from the UK to consider their future when hiring any writing company. It is really worth the risk to hire a writer to complete your paper, knowing very well that there are steps the universities are taking to prevent the use of essay mills or contract writers? Think about your future before signing on to a service, regardless of the name of the company.

The company that was indeed based out of India is no longer in business. The company could not survive the mismanagement of its owners, and also the negative publicity the company was getting

That is ehat happens when you are a company owner willing to pay only slave labor rates to your writers. They hired low value educated writers from Indian public schools. These writers had no idea how to write a simple English sentence and yet, they were expected to churn out academic essays. Lucky for us the company went bankrupt then.

The problem is that India has become one of the biggest academic scam running countries in the world. They employ third rate, lowly educated Indians for the jobs, without caring about how badly the lack of quality would affect the paying student. I am in agreement with the OP though that students should do their best to write their own papers, regardless of their English writing skills. An honest grade is better than a grade received through deception. In this case, the deception would result in a problematic grade for the student. Nobody is jumping to conclusions here. It is a known fact that there is a serious problem with the essays written by indian writers.

Pakistani and Indian writers are often judged as ESL writers for a good reason. English, when spoken or written in various parts of the world, contain different syntax presentations that give away the writer's true origins. Hence the need to be upfront with the clients about your actual English level. Be honest if you are an ESL writer because it will show up in the final written product. These 2 countries house most of the ESL academic writing houses, but often misrepresent themselves as ENL writers. That is why they end up with negative reviews online.

This was more than likely one of the worst Indian run academic writing sites. The company and the name have actually been given up with the owners. Go-Daddy.com now owns the rights to both again, and are reselling the domain name as it is parked in their server. They may have a problem with selling that domain name since a search for the company links to this very discussion thread in Google. Something that the potential domain name owners will consider heavily as they consider buying the domain name. I sincerely doubt this name and the service that they shabbily provided in the past will be able to make a comeback.
