@99Essays Excellent humor. These symptoms are exactly what students undergo when dealing with graduatewriter. It is a stroke waiting to happen. Students definitely feel the minimum of a migraine as they read their plagiarism riddled paper. They definitely feel some arm cramping and sudden death in their body parts when they realize they won't be getting their money back after receiving such lousy work. They definitely feel comatose when they are forced to submit the paper, only to receive what they know will be a failing grade in the end. Is it worth the intellectual death to work with this company? I do not think so.

With the advent of online text editing tools and cloud storage, working as a team on a dissertation of PhD thesis has become possible. This is now a reality for both students and writers. Having the ability to edit while on video conference calls has also created the scenario wherein the paper is now more smoothly written and transitioned from assigned writer to assigned writer. It is just a question of whether the student or writer has the technical know-how to make these existing apps work for their benefit. My writers have successfully used these instruments for cloud writing with much success. Oftentimes working with the students directly either via Google Drive or MS OneDrive.

academic standards in the UK seem more stringent than in the US

This is true. The UK is less politically correct and do not fear giving the students actual grades. They don't even fear giving the royals failing scores if need be. At least that is what I read of Prince Charles and his educational days. He wasn't very bright and his grades reflected it. That, is a country with an effective educational system. The US system is too politically correct that the teacher would pass the student who cannot read, just because the teacher fears being taken up on charges, losing the job, and coming under threat from various groups. It isn't worth it to be a teacher in the US. It also isn't worth it to get a US education in some states. The grading thing tough, that is a threat across the states. Teachers know to beware for their safety.

Never assume that the LiveChat of a company means they are legit and valid. All that means is that they have some pretty good con artists manning the help desk. Their only focus is to get you to sign up and fork your money over. I would trust the sales pitches least of all. You have to make sure that you take note of the DND list at this forum if you want to at least, stay clear of the well known scam companies. Then, talk directly to the writers here if you want to hire a valid service. That is usually your safest bet.

The url doesn't sound reliable in the first place. If you can't make sense of the web address, I do not think any student should risk hiring the service. I mean, with such a generic reference, the site could disappear overnight along with your cash and the writers. You end up without cash and without a paper. The company gets your cash and never have to deal with you again. If you must hire a writing company, at least make it one with a URL that sounds like it will be hanging around for some time, at least.

Writing Careers / legit jobs for writers wanted [30]

Writing "gigs" are currently on the downtrend. Money is tight all around so actually getting writing gigs on your own will be difficult. It is also more difficult to get hired by a writing company since they are cost cutting and have stopped hiring at the moment. They are still trying to figure out how the academic writing industry will come out on top with the closure of schools worldwide and the blended learning practice being set into place. It is becoming more difficult for the student to hire a writer because of the video set up at school and the eagle eyed parents at home. You can try to promote your services at this forum if you wish, but don't get your hopes up for now.

Fake news is the norm these days so I am not surprised that the foundations for it can be found this far back. What I did find interesting is that the fake news foundation could have very well been used to further promote the academic writing industry. I guess the journalists saw the potential in this type of news presentation since there is no actual victim, within the fake report. Leave it to the academic writing industry to be the trailblazer in the world of misleading news information haha!

From what I have heard, this is one of those companies that has a different landing page from where it actually redirects. It is a page that hides the actual site from the student. The idea, is to make the student think that it is a reputable site, although its actual site, which I cannot name here for legal purposes, is truly one of the worst and often sued academic companies on the web. Avoid this site at all costs. It is not a site that you should spend your money on because you will definitely, not get it back.

Try the service for yourself then your questions will be answered. Do not expect a direct, straightforward, or truthful answer from the people at this forum when it comes to other academic site recommendations because it is a cut throat business and they are always out to poach each other's clients. It doesn't matter if you are looking for a writing company or an independent writer. They will just bicker and disagree, and not be helpful at all. Oh wait! My advice came too late. They already did fight all over the board, which did not help the OP in any way.

Google will continue to allow academic ads in their search engines because that is where the money is. They will not control something that they benefit from directly. That threat is just their legal department asking them to cover their behinds in case someone decides to sue Google for allowing the misrepresenting companies to continue advertising in their search engines. Years later and the search engine even redirects the people searching to the companies that offer 15% discount on academic papers. Just like the big tech company that they are, they now feel that they are above the law and any agreements they entered into with universities is non binding and non-enforceable. They will do as they please to get their hands on the almighty dollar. Who is going to stop them anyway right?

Never ever hire a writing company that you just picked off the web during crunch time. Always go with a private writer whom you can speak to directly. Ask for his sample work. He will be more than happy to provide it. You will definitely pay a direct writer more than the writing company, but the vetting process the writer will undergo with you will be worth the extra price. Remember, just because you cannot find a negative article about a writing company, that does not make the company legitimate and trustworthy. Sadly, that is a lesson you learned the hard way.

Well, any company arrogant enough to make that claim as an IP address is definitely not reliable. The student was in error to have fallen for the tagline / IP address indicator. That url is tantamount to a well known liar screaming "I am not a liar!" then going ahead and lying about anything anyway. The URL should have been the dead give-away to not trust the company and its services. The writers are definitely criminals as well. I mean, what kind of honest writer would want to work for a company with that name for a company brand right?

CustomPapers definitely has fair pricing and reliable writers. Any student would do well to check the company out. Not endorsing here or anything, just making a suggestion as to a course of action. I never said "I recommend". If you would like to play safe though, you can also contact any of the listed featured writers at this forum. They are always willing to lend a hand, specially now that business is a bit slow. Hopefully thinks will turn around by Christmas break.

For writers, the best, genuine essay writing company to work with would have to be the one that pays on time, does not unfairly fine the writers, has a writer support team that is open to communication and suggestions, and, more importantly, shows the writer at least an ounce of respect. For the students, the best writing company would be the one that charges a fair CPP, delivers as promised, has cooperative writers, and gets them the grades they indicate for the paper.

Plagiarism checkers are a student's enemy. They do not need to have their report checked for plagiarism. They need professors to do the job they are paid to do which is to teach, assign homework or research papers, review the work, and grade it accordingly. These plagiarism checkers do not help at all. When these checkers were just starting out, these were detecting the word "the, and, an, I," as plagiarized words. The software has improved very little since then. No plagiarism checker is foolproof. No plagiarism checker does the job 100 % correctly. It is a waste of time to willingly submit your paper to these servers, whose owners may do anything that they wish with your paper once you have freely given them to rights to it by having it checked for plagiarism.

The problem with submitting an ID to these companies is that they do not require just any valid ID, they more often than not, require a valid government ID from the country of the writer. Nobody knows what they plan to do with this information but I for one, never require my writers to submit any form of identification due to the nature of our business and the problems that may arise from the safekeeping of these electronic data. What I do understand is that the companies that choose to implement the valid ID system do so because they have discovered that their writers have been selling their writer accounts to the highest bidder. Forcing the company to deal with writers who they never hired in the first place.

The biggest threat to the writing industry is not found in the list of the OP, nor is it related to Donald Trump (very far from it). The real threat to the industry was the entry of January 2020, when the Covid 19 pandemic swept the globe. The pandemic closed the schools for the rest of the academic year, cutting into the profit of the writers and writing companies, forcing refunds, and basically, deducting from the perceived gains of the company and writer during that time. Then, schools, where it reopened, took on a new format with the blended learning standard. Some parents chose to fully homeschool the kids just to err on the safe side. These actions have resulted in a major shakeup in the industry. It has made the writers think twice about their academic writing career. What if the pandemic doesn't end? What if a new form of schooling is finally developed? Can the writers still find a niche in a changing academic world? What is the true future of the academic writing industry? Can we survive this pandemic and go back to the way we used to earn? There are way too many new factors to consider now which proves that academic writing professionals need to think long and hard about their current and future career choices / decisions.

Sometimes I wonder if the forum is actually trying to protect the students or, if they are just in it for the money like all the other businesses out there. I mean, the OP definitely sounded like a paid poster. He did not even try to hide it. I thought the forum has rules against promoting sites and making recommendations? Or does that policy go out the window when it becomes a question of dollars and cents?

It is not impossible to hire a native English speaking writer using online channels. However, it is difficult to verify the credentials of the writer which would prove the ability of the writer to write in native English. Perhaps you should look into hiring a writer in person instead? That way you can give the writer a writing test, right in front of you, which can help you prove his native English speaker writing claims. While it might sound impossible, you can actually complete such a work interview / test via Zoom or FB chat.

A bogus company can actually confuse the heck out of a potential client who bothers to do an IP check on them in the proper manner. The office address can be in the USA, the server in the UK, the IP address in Panama, and so on and so forth. An IP address check, when done properly and, if the student understands the IP data he is looking at, he should know that the company is questionable at the very least, and should not be trusted to write anything at a discount or expensive price by anyone.

Half the time, the students aren't even the real complainants. The company often poses as the student making a complaint about the quality of the paper. This usually happens to writers who have a high volume of work, which often leads to the writer earning more than the company is willing to pay. While the student may have accepted the paper without a complaint, the company can manipulate the system to make it appear to the writer that the student is the one complaining. Any writer who gets a quality complaint should always fight it. Most of the time, the complaints are bogus. If it regularly happens, the writer should find a more reputable company to work for instead.

This company is well known for blackmailing students. They are in the business of stealing, not writing. They pretend to write a paper, which is not worth the price paid not the electricity used to write it, hoping the ESL student will not be able to tell the difference. Sadly, there are some ESL students who manage to tell the difference and try to get their money back. Any student who finds themselves in a similar situation should merely call their bluff. They don't have what it takes to actually publish your paper. They know that if they do that, the word will spread like wildfire, there goes their business.

Never relax and trust a company coming out of Pakistan. Recognize a shill when you see one at this forum. They may provide you with a paper but it will definitely be a problem. While it may not be plagiarized, it may not be comprehensible to the reader either. You have to make sure that you hire only a reputable writing company. It has to be a company that you have vetted or, at the very least, be a company that has been recommended to your by friends, classmates, or family members. Believe me, these people all have companies and writers to recommend. Anybody who says otherwise just refuses to admit it.

These sites now often show up in the social media pages of high school and college students. I have found that these also appear during random ad placements in Google and Bing. Search engines that often track what a student does, where he does it, and for how long. These are all the information that the SEO needs to direct relevant ads to the students. Any student who hires a company that he found through an advertisement, which I believe was the case here, is definitely asking for trouble. Asking for a large fee should also be a warning sign. Remember, paying too little is a red flag. Paying too much, is also a red flag because the company may definitely be on the scam side of things.

Any academic writing company that accepts an installment plan is not a company that can be trusted to produce a quality paper for any student. A reliable writer, who is worth the money he is paid to write the paper will always ask for the full payment upfront. Just in case the student has plans to not complete the payments. So I am wondering why a writing company would actually advertise a payment scheme for the students. I think there is a con going on somewhere here. The writing company should be demanding an upfront cash payment. Installments might seem like a protection for the student, who can stop the payment at anytime, but in reality, it is not a form of protection. The company can still refuse to refund your cash if you feel that the writer is not really delivering on your requirements. The company will always keep what they can, regardless of the client's desire to get a good paper out of them.

If you are a writer who does not want to risk being scammed, then do not work for this company.; They still claim to be paying their writers via Paypal when we all know that Paypal no longer works with writing companies. That alone is a red flag that should tell the potential writer that the company is selling them a bag of lies. There is no truth to anything on their website. They make false promises that those of us who run proper writing businesses know cannot happen. When I asked around, I was told that this company is run by Ukrainians through some shady business deal or business fronts that allow them to run the business out of that country. This is the most illegitimate writing company around from what I have heard. Writers will do well to stay as far away as possible from this company. There is nothing trustworthy about their writers or the people that run the company.

The best way to price any paper is to consider the manpower and other requirements used in the completion of the paper. Consider the cost of electricity, the monthly on the internet charges, wear and tear on the laptop or PC, among others and you should find yourself pricing the paper at a base cost of about $30 per page. Anything lower means the company is not really reliable. The price should always be the first red flag for a student. The cheaper you are charged by the writer, the more you should be suspicious of the final result.

There was a time in the past when the .edu url signified reliability and academic integrity. That is no longer the case these days. Everything is for sale which is what removed the trust factor in these url's. Students cannot rely on the old school idea that the ending url of a web address adds to the credibility of the site and the information it provides. Since these companies began using the .edu address to represent their scams, students have lost complete faith in the url. In fact, the bad press for the url has gotten so bad, the students don't even want to rely on the information coming out of websites with the .edu address. They tend to think of that information as fake news already.

Normally, students who are not willing to work with 3rd world writing companies know that a low CPP translates to trash writers. You have to look at the price per page and then consider the regular salary rates of a particular country. Only if the amount per page translates to a proper daily wage for the writer who is a native of a particular county shows up at the cost per page can you consider that company to be legitimate. It is more difficult to deal with the prices of the writing companies when considering the legality of the writing service. Sometimes, it is better to approach the reliable writers here privately, then hire them for the full academic season. You could be paying less, but you will be assured of the quality of work coming from your writer.

It is difficult to sue a writing company whether in regular or small claims courts. The students who first think of suing them end up backing off mostly because they suddenly remember that they would have to admit to academic dishonesty, which would eventually lead to one of two things: (1) expulsion from the academic program or (2) the cancellation of their graduate certificate. Neither would be beneficial to them. So they eventually decide to let go of the case. That is the better option considering the repercussions that they would eventually be bringing upon themselves.

Just as I thought, the loud and attention seeking writers here do not have what it takes to actually take one another down. They all talk big but fall flat when their bluff is called. Okay. This is an example of why proofreading is all to important when having your blurb written. You cannot just accept a blurb and hit publish without double, triple checking the content. Make sure the announcement carries the correct message. Make sure the announcement is understandable to everyone. Make sure the announcement doesn't carry double meaning. Make sure the announcement actually says what it is supposed to say. Otherwise you end up with a confusing announcement that could be mistaken for a con. Remember, misleading announcements have been known to accidentally shutdown companies in the past.

$3 per 250 words means you are getting a 3rd rate writer from a 3rd world country. It means you are not paying for quality work and, quite possibly, could end up getting scammed. Any company that charges such a low rate per page cannot be trusted to have their writers submit your paper on time. The company, may also very well blackmail you because the amount you are paying seems like a lure to me. They are after the budget conscious students who just want to pay to get a paper done, regardless of the quality. They are the students who are often seen complaining here about being blackmailed, scammed, conned, whatever else kind of cheating scheme you can think of.

Well, the companies these days require the writers to submit actual employment information, including a picture ID. So there may be some difficulty in security a secondary writer account these days when compared to previous decades. The screening process is more professional these days and have safety measures in place to prevent writers from getting multiple accounts or selling their currently existing accounts. It will not be worth the bother to try and create a second account at the same company anymore. These days, you might just get caught trying to do that, which will result in your original account being cancelled by the company. I should know, I already did that with one of my "dishonest" hires in the past.

Well, at least the reviews about their service are mixed. A mixed review often signifies that the company owners are not controlling their own publicity / reviews by paying their own writers to write positive reviews about the company. Yes, all companies will come with mixed reviews because every student has a different expectation for the service to be received. Some will find their needs satisfied, others will not. The only true review that the student should trust is the opinion they form after ordering a paper from any company and deciding if they were happy with the company service and writer work or not. Nobody can trust the opinion and experience of others when it comes to writing companies. Students have to experience it for themselves to learn either a good or bad lesson about working with those people.
