I believe that were was a time when the url went offline but it had nothing to do with lack of money. The site administrators forgot to renew the domain name registration so the url was disconnected. They had no idea they were unplugged until the emails started pouring in. They renewed the registration as soon as they could but the reactivation took longer than expected. This is what caused the undue panic among writers and users alike. There were also a few security critical updates performed at around the same time that crashed the server. Which added to the stress all around at the time. Luckily, they overcame the unexpected situations and function as close to normal as possible there days.

The company has been out of business for several years now. While historically known for not maltreating their writers there were constant issues with the quality of work produced by their writers. The company did try to stay afloat but, when refunds started cutting into their investment capital, the partners decided to cut their losses and sell. I'm not sure what name the company goes by now or if the writers are still treated fairly. The original writers pool remember the company fondly. They can only hope that the new owners continued the fair writer treatment. Thone who left when the company was sold got a seperation pay which helped the writer's get a new start in life. It wasn't much in terms of dollars, but for the 3rd world...

A verification means a company or website is a member of a particular group or organization. Does this mean members of essayfrand are not scams? That would be the image that it would imply. It is not set in stone though. Remember that a membership is paid by the company that wishes to join and recieve the seal of approval. Where money talks, scams will exist. The logo gives the student a false sense of confidence in the company. I would not have paid out before a writer was assigned. I would have maybe placed a downpayment on the work, but most certainly not paid full price upfront. That is where you made the mistake. A writer should geta feel for each company and decide which he best works with after a month or two. Then he can choose which company to stick with long-term. The Ukranian companies seem to have collaborated with Filipino counterparts for some reason.I believe this is because of easily circumvented business laws. From what I have heard, one can rent a residential condo unit and convert it into an office with several employees, no questions asked. Some people believe that it is slave labor central because people there are desperate for any sort of work.

That considered, it is more than likely that the foreigners would try and consolidate their work base in the country. There are just too many advantages in the scenario for them to pass- up. Writers have unsuccessfully boycotted companies in the past. They choose to cut off their noses to spite their faces rather than just cutting their losses. I can understand why writers would wish to seek revenge on these companies , but a boycott is not the way to do it. A boycott only hurts the writers and clients it does not affect the company in any way. Instead, they save the company money since a writer strike means no salary to pay-out. So who really got hurt the most by the boycott? The best way to get even is to negotiate a salary release then leave the company. Take your clients with you if you can. Do not call fora boycott. All we cando here is offer a word of caution. Ignore his emails if you recieve any. You won't be sorry if you ignore his empty promises. That is the only way ie finally put him out of business.

Most of these sites, if not all, have reputations that precede them. While students tend to consider them based on cost, it is the actual paper result that make them sorry about hiring them. I don't think dividing the writers through any qualification is necessary. It is the sharing of experiences that is important. The idea of the OP is, I think, to allow all the writers to share their good and bad experiences. All in the name of professional learning. We take the experience of others and apply it,as relevant, to our own situations. It doesn't have anything to do with ESL or ENL levels. The only consideration is the work experience. Writers need to get creative these days because of the stiff competition among actual freelancers. more and more clients are optingto go the direct routethese days so I understand the suggestion. However, the clients are kind of on edge when it comes to direit hires through email. They cannot see any ratings for the writer that way. There is nothing wrong with direct contact. It is just difficult to contact and convince the students. Difficult, but not impossible. So, if one has the opportunity to they doing it, then go for it. There is everything to gain and nothing to lose.

The university should have been informed of what happened. They need to learn about these things so they can develop a better database protection system. These universities keep previous student papers in their system as a reference point for current students. If their system was somehow compromised then their system could be undered useless in the future. There are more writing companies that manage to continue operating even if they have a limited group of regular writers. They tend to keep changing their company name online and keep an open hiring policy for their writers. Even as their writers leave with the speed with which they entered the company, there are always more writer applicants waiting for their chance in the wings. That is why the company will not and cannot die.There are too many people online looking for an "easy" job. Unfortunately, most of them believe that working for a writing company falls under that category. They find out too late that they have joined an illegal modern slave work market.

I do not see the point of the writer having changed the content off the whole paper to avoid plagiarism, only to give it back to the company writer to have it revised. What, if anything, would that have accomplished ? Was the writer at least on track with the originally written presentation? Since the writing was that bad, shouldn't the OP have worked on a refund instead? Maybe he could have just taken the usable researched information and written his own version of the paper instead? That is what I would have done. Paid for the use of the researched data. It would have served a purpose and speeded up my task just the same.

Students need to remember that the background check on the company should be done before an order is placed. It is better to have never placed an order than to have to jump through hoops trying to cancel the order.
