
The most common interfaces that I have seen in my capacity as a website reviewer are those that have bidding systems involved.
The system doesn't actually ask for a bid in the sense of the word but rather, it asks for justifications regarding the ability of a writer to complete a project. It turns out to be more of a job interview instead of an actual bid.
I would like to see this system changed.
I believe that the proper writer interface should allow the writer to get to know more about the student in as much as the student gets to know about the writer. In other words, if the writer is asked to submit a short resume for the student to read, then the writer should have the ability to assess the intellectual capacity of the student as well.
This would help the writer determine the correct writing level to use in his writing of the paper and also, gives the writer an opportunity to base his "bid" on the potential difficulties the student might pose as a client after the writing process is completed since that is when most of the editing and revising problems take place.
