Students use academic writing companies to give them more time to enjoy their youth. Or at least, that was the reason that they used most of the time in the past. The students actually had a social life back then because the student social scene was vibrant with activity and enjoyment. These days though, students find it difficult to group themselves into any social activity. Between Covid 19 safeguards and possible confrontations should then end up being in the wrong place at the wrong time, students opt to stay home and do most of the work themselves. It may take some time but the students will eventually come back to using writing services, for the same reasons they had in the past. The reasons never change, only the circumstances of the student in terms of social requirements.

The writing companies have pulled back on the free paper offer for its affiliates. They would rather have the student pay a percentage of the cost of the paper than give it for free. They are just like any business these days, trying to keep their business afloat even though the market for academic writers barely exists at the moment. Although difficult to promote, the companies still manage to keep some sort of writing profile, provided they do not spend too much money on promotions and other writer related activities. Referrals? Not for now.

I am not sure I would trust an African company either. There are too many unknowns when dealing with companies from that country. Too many of the writers are little educated and hope to just get by. They prefer to deal with ESL students since those clients can't tell the difference between a well written paper and piece of trash. Personally, I would go with the freelance writer simply because you CAN negotiate a deal with them just in case things go south. It is less risky than being scammed by a company that is simply out to fleece the students.

The moral of the story? Never start writing a paper until a downpayment has been made. Never submit the paper until the total cost has been paid. That way, you can sell the paper to another student in the future should the current student decide not to pay the writer for one reason or another. It is possible the student did not feel that the paper was worth paying for, in terms of quality and chose to simply not pay instead of trying to negotiate a deal with the writer.

Edubirdie is still going strong, at least if it is based on its IP address information. Whether they can keep up not paying their writers and being unable to recruit new students to scam is another question. Students are too familiar with their con already to easily fall for their smokescreen of a website. Last I heard, they have been fishing around for writers as well. Apparently the Covid 19 problem booted their 3rd world writers offline. They now have an almost empty server and almost 0 writers to assign orders to.

Academic writing has always been a gray area. Where does the assistance begin? What is considered cheating? Should professors know about this? Are we running a legal business or is this an underground economy? The questions and justifications are endless. All I know is this. All students deserve to get academic help when they need it. All students are entitled to pay for that help if they can afford to do so. All students have the freedom to use the papers we create for them in any way they feel necessary. All students benefit from the existence of academic writers. Is it cheating? That is a blurred line. It depends who you talk to, what their point of view is, and how they justify or do not justify the work done. Personally, I do not consider this cheating. I offer and am paid to complete an academic service for students. They agree to it, they do not consider it cheating, so who am I to say otherwise?

The penalties spoken of in this thread still remains. The problem, is that the companies are having a difficult time enforcing it. They know that if they enforce the rules in an arbitrary manner, then their writers are going to walk. However, they want to keep most of the income for themselves. So they are caught between the devil and the deep blue sea. Yes, there are companies that have tried to enforce the fining system soon after schools reopened. I know of a few of them to closed shop soon after because the writers walked out en masse after the penalties were applied. Their greed was their demise.

Western Union has at least updated its payment receiving system to accommodate the digital banking age. They now allow direct transfers to certain prepaid cards. Some banks also accept Western Union transactions in a manner that gives the writer enough time (in days reference) to access the payment either through a digital bank transfer or, by going to WU and having the transaction completed by crediting the payment to the card. Either way, it is now easier, though not yet highly convenient, to transact using WU. Writers will still have to do most of the work but at least, the money will surely come in.

The slowdown, the downward trend, these have all become irrelevant because, for a major part of the year, schools were shut down. Students passed without having to complete examinations, pass written work, or submit projects. The writing field was officially in a coma for a majority of 2020. It is slowly coming back to life with the slow rollout of the school year. However, that does not assure the writers or academic companies of a return to normal. Everyone is starting from zero. We need to rebuild the industry. Repricing of the paper orders would be the first move towards stabilizing the industry. Promoting the writing services under a new normal would also help. We have to figure out how to get clients in a new academic field. If we don't figure this out soon, we will all be out of a job or business.

If you already have a pool of writers ready and willing to work for you, then put them to work sourcing clients. Surely they have some sort of personal or professional network that they can use to help the company started. Make it more enticing for them. Offer a commission for every client successfully referred by the writer to the company. If you make it worth the writer's while, they will go out of their way to help make the business work. You could even start a rank called "Founding Writers" who can hold shares in the company, giving them bonuses at the end of the year, based upon the number of clients they manage to refer and retain with the company.

I wonder why this student posted a confusing question then did not bother to clarify when the users here asked. I guess he was confused about his own question? He did not really understand what he was trying to say? Had no idea how to use the English language? Whatever. His post sounded more like a bait to allow his partner to start promoting a company. However, the partner, never showed up so his post was never used in the manner that it was originally meant for. Well, I hope the company that was going to pay the tandem withheld payment because they were lousy at planning a veiled promotional move.

Technically, the students are not cheaters. The students still have to attend the classes, take the test, do the other class requirements, and fret about whether they have done enough to pass the class, even with the writers they hired assuring them of the quality and grades of their papers. They still do the major work. They are the ones whose future will be ended if they are caught using a writing service. Here is the thing, the writing service is not helping the students cheat. They merely assist in the completion of class requirements. Does that make a student a cheater? Not in my book. The student will still have to take the blame if they hire a crappy writer and get a crappy grade. Are they cheaters? Nope. They are merely strong risk takers.

While paying Google is a good way to gain heightened promotion, it isn't as good as using your YT channel to promote your writing company through veiled "writing tutorials" which end with a reference to your site. That is one of the best ways to advertise, without having to spend. Create a YT video, promote it on your social media sites, watch the number of viewers grow. You should get about 10 inquiries and 4-6 orders per new video that you post. They will try to leave comments in the hopes of contacting you so make sure to respond to all the comments left. You never know who might place an order. It will be hard for the first year or so, but it should get easier as your channel gains subscribers and popularity.

Academia Research is a rudderless ship. They have no idea how to continue to exist in a world where Paypal no longer allows them to pay their writers and their writers are on a steady rotation out the door. Their idea of keeping seats warm and orders filled is by constantly hiring writers who do not qualify for the job. Their application test is rigged to keep the actual ENL writers of their fold, and the ENL writers in. That is because if they hire ENL writers, they would not be able to fine them unreasonably. The clients would be too satisfied with the papers produced and they would want to keep that writer as a preferred writer. They hire the ESL writers because of their desire to not really fulfill client orders. Just do enough so that they can constantly penalize the writer that is crazy enough to stay connected with them.

Essay Services / How about gonerdify.com? [7]

As I had predicted before, the academic writing companies would spin off into tutorial services for students. I was not wrong. That is the moneymaker for this website at the moment. The students are not looking for writers to help write their papers, they are looking for tutors to help them keep up with their online classes because the video classroom setting? It just leaves them in tears trying to keep up with a teacher, a bad internet connection, and all the distractions in their homes. Just wait, the other academic writing companies will follow suit. I only hope that the company at least improved the quality of their tutors, who also double as the writers for the student who hired them to be their tutors.

While there are many how to videos for dissertation writing on YT, and countless websites meaning to properly instruct you in the development of your thesis, not all of these tutorials actually work. Mostly because they assume that the student's won't ask questions, or they attempt to answer questions which may not be relevant to the work a student is doing. I guess that is why writing companies began to roll out video conferencing for thesis and dissertation writing pre-pandemic. It was a business that was really starting to pick up at the time. Students were paying for writers to write alongside them, comparing notes, exchanging notes, and collaborating wonderfully until the whole paper was completed. I am sure that the personal tutor service will make a comeback once everything settles down in terms of classes and how to attend them in a mixed learning setting.

Well, it would appear that the threat of blackmail on the graduated student was just a smokescreen. He was just out to blackmail the student and never really had anything on him. He was using a psychological trick on the student, hoping he was weak enough to surrender to the perceived threat. It is at times like those that ES really comes in handy for the student. People like @Major and @Smiley73 helped to calm the nerves of the student and help the student realize that this was nothing more than unfounded blackmail. He never came back with an update so yeah, I do believe he was able to pushback properly against the blackmailer.

Regardless of being an individual writer or a company writer, the rates of writing professionals have plummeted these days. All because the belt tightening has affected everyone. Gone are the days when writers could demand sky high fees, knowing the students can afford it. Now, when the students who would normally hire writers either have their allowances cut or they lost the job that was helping them pay for college, the writers and companies have come to learn that their prices need to be more realistic and that haggling with the client regarding a satisfactory price point on both ends is the only way for them to stay in business.

I never enjoyed having to write scientific papers that required me to perform experiments for the student. I found that I could never price the project properly due to the repeated experimentation involved and, that the client would always be so nervous that I would mess up the experiment, he would hound me one experiment day with phone calls and requests for video chats just to watch me do the experiment. Geez! If you don't trust your writer, then do it yourself ! As for my favorite, I would have to say that would have to be analyzing foreign films. The opportunity to watch the old classics from foreign countries, the chance to be exposed to a different style of film-making, everything related to such movie reviews gave me a new world to discover and a renewed point of view about the world I live in.

The case above is a clear sample of, "what the student thinks is good and what the professor thinks are two different things." This is why the students have a tendency to go overboard when it comes to the Q&A of their paper. An unsatisfied student should morenoften translate into a more satisfied professor and grade. The payoff happens in the long run for both the company and the weiter. I can't blame the students for seeking a refund in that case. The company always has a liability when it comes to paper assigning and final quality control. If they do not care about the quality, then the student should definitely fight to teach the company a lesson.

Try to be the first bidder on the paper. Coming within the top 5 bidsmplacedngives you a better chance of being considered for the assignment. If you are the first bidder, then bid low enough so that nobody will want to bid below your quoted price. If there are already other bids, average the amount and use a mid range price for your bid. That way you give a fair bid for yourself and the student. Mid range bids tend to be considered more for the assignment than those priced too high or too low. The client still equates cost with quality hence the midrange preference.

My greatest project would have been a 3000 page research on Martin Luther and his separation from the Catholic church. The paper required me to compare similarities between the original Catholoc church and the Protestant counterpart that came about because of Luther becoming disgruntled by the church. How I could prove that Protestantism and Catholicism were different yet the same in many ways was a bit difficult to research since religion has evolved over eons and I reaĺy had to focus on the most recent aspects of both religions rather than the historical basis and counterpart presentations.

The problem with reselling old assignment papers really comes from the measure of relevance of the content. College students papers tend to lose relevance quite quickly because of the constant evolution of the relevant field written about. Old assignments may no longer contain useful information later on. Unless the writer is willing to update the assignment to make it more suitable to the current users, it may not be a good idea to resell the paper anymore. Nobody will pay for outdated or now irrelevant information contained in an old assignment paper.

General Talk / Online Classes Questions [10]

Well, nobody said you can't hire someone to do the work for you. However, the writer help will only go so far as completing the homework for you. With the dawn of video conference classes, teachers can now use technology to make sure that the student is attending classes and completing tests themselves. It is only in the homework and research part that the teacher cannot see if the student is doing the actual work. Nothing that an oral verification can't fix. That, is why I tell my students to Crack open the books and read other materials in relation to the essay or research job they give me. I can only help them so much. They, still have to attend the class and remove any possible doubts from the teacher's mind should the need to do so arise.

I wonder what will happen to the braggarts at this forum once they no longer have anyone to pick on. There is no sense in picking on someone just because you disagree, or you consider that person a threat to your perceived exclusive client base at this forum. You people really do not work well within a free enterprise market. Everyone is a threat who must be destroyed. That is the image you deliver. I thought ES promoted networking among writers. I am rethinking that claim now. It appears that what the owners of the forum envisioned, and what b is actually happening are 2 different things. Which leads me to wonder why they are powerless to stop it.

Writing Careers / Best sites to sell example essays? [10]

Actually, the opposite is currently happening. I have had some requests for the purchase of pre-written papers by students who have ended up in the blended learning crowd. The reason they want to purchase pre-written essays? They want to write the paper themselves, but not have to do the research or any other legwork for it. So the pre-written paper market just may see a revival of sorts these days. I tell you, Covid 19 has really shaken the academic and writing institutions. We are all still trying to figure out how to best do business these days. Which is why some old school business models seem to be emerging from oblivion. At the moment, whatever works is best. As long as it brings in an income. So go ahead and try to sell those old essays. It might be of financial help to you somehow.

Essay Services / Do legit websites still exist? [35]

At this very moment, there are several bad name companies out there that are folding shop. The illegitimate writing sites have been affected by the lack of formal classes and the lack of orders coming in. They have closed their businesses because their scam, of not paying their writers properly, has also resulted in an exodus of their writers, all of whom are now trying to jumpstart their independent writing careers. The legitimate sites have won. We are the ones who stand tall and proud, still able to do business in a year when our fake competitors are being run out of the market by their mismanagement of their dark web companies.

Custompapers.com is one of the few writing companies that actually have a solid writing staff and highly accommodating staffers. They go out of their way to make sure that clients get the service they paid for. Their strict quality control assures the students that they will never have a bad experience with them. The company prides itself on its stream of steady, return clients. So when I read comments that say a student had a horrific experience, I really would like to know why. The company is one of the best and longest standing in the field so I never believe any negative comments about them.

There is a problem when a non-English speaker starts his own writing company. The quality of the work is sure to suffer because the owner will not have any clue as to how to properly check the papers his writers are churning out. The mediocre papers will be passed on to the clients and the students will be screaming their heads off. If this person actually pursued setting up his own company, I bet he spent all his time dealing with charge back claims, eventually leading to the closure of his company.

Therefore, I do not believe that this person was ever investigating One Freelance. Instead, I believe that he was trying to dig up dirt on the company so that he could write negative reviews for One Freelance. Coming here and claiming to be a journalist is only a cover story. Since Paypal no longer deals with academic writing companies and independent writers, why is this thread still on the forum? Shouldn't it be removed due to irrelevance already? Writers and companies have moved on to other payment services. Services that are far more reliable, less complicated to deal with, and available in more countries than Paypal. Paypal is nothing but a relic of the past. They are no longer relevant in today's digital society. Students, writing companies, and writers can continue doing business the simpler way, without having to deal with the constantly increasing Paypal transfer fees. I believe that it is about time that this thread was locked by the administrators of this forum.

Don't cheat the writers out of their honestly earned incomes. They worked hard on your paper and did their best to deliver a high quality paper to you. As the student, you already gained a benefit from working with the writer. Honest writers deserve to be paid for their honest services. However, if you come across a scam writer, then charge back. Learn to tell the difference between the two. Don't use and abuse honest writers, but don't let scam writers get away with their crimes either. Do a chargeback only if all compromise discussions fail to give you a positive result.

While the student does get the rights to the written work once it is submitted to him / her, it would still be best for the student to just use it as a model paper. In case the company they hired is one that tends to submit the essay to other plagiarism software sites, the student should cover himself by changing the paper just enough to make it pass the checkers. If need be, he should paraphrase the paper himself before submission. In fact, I have had clients who hire 2 writers for single paper topic. The first writers creates the full paper, the second writer paraphrases the information, then the student submits the second version to the professor. That was his way of making sure the paper remained plagiarism free. Only the quoted information remained the same throughout both papers.

Well, as the kids of Lori Loughin have proven, not even having an academic writer on stand by to complete their college requirements will be enough when they spend their time partying and calling undue attention to themselves. Kids like that don't care about the kind of work that they turn in, as long as something gets turned in. Their parent's money, at least for a period of time, bought their way through the educational system. College students from rich families look forward to getting started in college mostly because they will finally be on their own, and really be able to party since there are no parents around anymore they have to answer to. Not that the kids of Loughlin ever had to answer for their actions (it seems).

Otherwise, only basic information will be given. The basic information still keeps the actual location of the company a secret. Only the technical support information is released, which is of not much help to a student who really wants to verify the location of a given company.

Creating a client base is not an easy thing to do. The market is so over saturated by both independent and company writers that the student population already has a specific writer or set of writers that they turn to for their writing needs. However, the pandemic may have changed all that for the students and writers alike. Starting over because of the new learning process means the students are once again up for grabs. All because the scam companies were not really able to weather to Covid-19 storm. Leaving the students with plenty of room to hire new writers. Writers that they now acquire through social media. So if you are writer with a strong social media presence, you should not have a problem developing a client network at this time.

Professional writers often have some sort of TOS that they have the client electronically agree to. Clients often ask for the TOS when they cannot find it on the website or, if the writer is a direct hire without a site to refer to. I personally send out the TOS to the client when he asks for a quote on his paper. It is better to inform the student before hand about the agreement. If necessary, I adjust the TOS to suit the student's needs. By doing so, I prove that I am out to protect his interests and not just mine. They often appreciate having an adjustable TOS because it allows both sides to come for a more flexible agreement, which, I have found, both sides work hard to uphold.

In these instances, it would be better to hire a writer directly. That way the student can properly vet the language skills of the potential editor and avoid any potential proof reading problems that could result in a mangled essay and a charge back demand from the student.

All of these scam sites use fake testimonials. It doesn't matter if it is a written review or a youtube review, there is no truth in their advertising. That is precisely why I shy away from using such cheap gimmicks with my site promotions. I let the word of mouth speak for my company and my writers. If a website has rave reviews, believe ony 5 percent of what was said, at the most. These sites employ regular writers whose job is just to keep churning out positive reviews for their sites, while writing negative reviews for their perceived competitor sites. There is no way to identify which is true and which is false in their testimonials so it would be better if you just avoid using such sites in the future.
