Essay Services / ozessay.com.au Big mistake! [22]

Most writing companies have a cancellation policy in place. A student can get a refund or a new writer assignment if the client is not satisfied with the work produced by the writer. It is important that the student not wait until the last minute to see the work of the writer. Always demand that the writer submit at least the first 2 pages of the paper as a draft. That way, the student can see the writing style and stupidity of the assigned writer ( as the case may be). If you are not satisfied with the work, if you can see that the writer will not be able to achieve your projected grade requirement, then have him replaced immediately or demand a refund and cut your losses. Look for another writing service as soon as you can. That is the best way to avoid having to face further problems with the final product.

Essay Services / kenyawriting.com good or bad? [23]

Kenyan writers have a bad reputation online because they have been part of the reliable slave labor of these dark writing companies. I cannot understand why a writing company would actually flaunt that they use Kenyan writers, and that they are actually located in Kenya. Do not be fooled by the .uk url ending. They are in Kenya. Their services are mediocre at best. Their clients will not find any satisfaction in their work and the grades they receive. It would be best to steer clear of this writing company. The only thing sure when hiring this service is that it will be more trouble than it is worth to the student.

Wow! This India based company has some guts using the words professional experts, 100% plagiarism free papers. The biggest writing scam companies and writers emanate from that area of the world. I also find it laughable that they claim to have expert writers and plagiarism free papers but, in the same blurb, offer unlimited revisions. If your company is represented by writers who are as professional as the company touts them to be, then there is no need to assure the potential client of unlimited revisions right? The company knows they cannot deliver, that's why they offer unlimited revisions. Students, when you read about unlimited revisions, close that tab immediately. Do not even consider the company. That is not just a red flag, it is an admission of non-professionalism from the company itself. Learn to read between the lines.

The company name was a dead giveaway. Any company that promises and "instant assignment" is definitely selling the student a bag of BS. Only an India based company would think that such a company name would instill trust and confidence in a client. Anything "instant" is not worth the money paid for it. If a student believes that a paper, written instantly can meet his requirements and grading standards, he has another thing coming. Nothing good ever came easy or, instantly. So the client complaining in the OP was really asking for the sloppy work that he got. The name of the company for me, was enough of a red flag to keep me looking for other companies that may have more trustworthy names in their url.

I thought I would update this discussion with my opinion. I know, nobody asked for it and the thread is eons old. Who cares right? I do. I care because the writers that I help use freemail addresses. Not because they are con artists, not because they hiding behind the free account. They use the freemail address because that is all they can afford. Some of them work out of internet kiosks and cannot afford to pay for professional email accounts. I never thought any less of them or judged them by their email address. Why? The email address is not as important as the quality of the work delivered and the integrity of the writer. It isn't the email address that counts, it is the talent and skill of the writer that makes the difference. The clients don't really care about the writer's email address. Mainly because all they care about is that the work is good and they get the grade they indicated in the order. The email address of the writer has nothing to do with that.

I had a professionally employed client who had to attend a business conference and file a report for his boss after. It was a 4 day conference at a Florida resort, all expenses paid by the company. Problem was, the person wanted the cold slopes of Aspen instead of the warm beaches of Florida. You won't believe how much he paid me to attend the conference for him. Since there were over 500 people at the convention, I managed to blend into the crowd and not get caught as the impostor that I was. We did that a few times for regional conferences, but I drew the line when he asked me to attend an overseas conference. The hassle of having to get a rush visa alone would not make it worth my while.

Student issues are always going to be the same. Some new concerns may come up, but basically, the student woes remain the same year round. The pattern of scams run by the essay companies are also becoming more intricate so the students need to be kept abreast of those new information. However, old information will always have some sort of usefulness. More along the lines of educating the students about how the scams evolved or, for some students, the old postings that are revived become part of their learning experience. Let's think of the situation along the lines of history books.

History books never lose their relevance. The lessons taught and learned educate the students and, in some instances, become useful to them when dealing with certain situations or learning demands. The same goes for the threads here at ES. There is no expiry date on the posts. The posts need to be kept active so that students can always find a reference to whatever it is they are looking for or, simply to educate them before they get scammed.

There is nothing wrong with reviving old posts. The students are going to benefit from it, regardless of the opinions of the old guards at this forum. It is their "expiry date" mindset that will eventually make them irrelevant at this forum.

I make sure to charge a minimum of $30 per page for the simplest paper that I accept directly. Meaning the client requested for my services. That cost applies to simple essays like college applications, visa application letters, scholarship applications, and other similar papers. I charge no less than $50 per page for the actual research papers that take up a lot more of my time to complete. There are times when I charge upward of a $100 per page, depending upon the thesis or dissertation topic and the turn around time for it.

I find it strange that this company in particular claims to still be paying its writers via Paypal. I thought Paypal was stricter than that. Unless they found a way around it, which is highly unlikely. I suspect that they use Paypal as a come-on to the potential applicants. It makes them appear to be on the level as a business and gives the writer a sense of calm and assurance that his salary will be paid on time. Which is highly unlikely. I think they are running a bait and switch scam. You think you'll be paid via Paypal, then they tell you that your country doesn't qualify so use their other suggested method instead.

The tutor will most likely be on to you unless you can develop a good explanation. One way of doing that would be to show the tutor that you have an account at say grammarly where you can upload the paper and get editing and correction advice based on a software. Tutors do not normally frown on the use of editing software, specially for ESL students. They believe that the software helps the student learn the English language so they have no problem with it. As long as you are on the level with your tutor and you admit to having had some sort of help in perfecting the grammar (not the writing of the paper), then everything should turn out fine.

Before you sign up with a company, make sure that you have an acceptable payment channel in your country. Since Paypal no longer allows money transfer from these academic companies, the remittance products the writer can use has become limited. One option is Payoneer, but I understand that there are still some countries that do not accept that payment channel. The payment channel is a must to check out because it would be a waste of your time if you worked for 2 weeks, then were unable to collect your salary at the scheduled date.

If you are a student who looks for model exam questions and responses, I would have only one thing to say to you, "Get out of school!" Don't waste your parent's money or any student loans you currently have outstanding. If you are really so lazy and arrogant that you think you can cheat in the exams by getting answer sheets then you will not really have a bright professional future. The good news is that universities have become conscious of the existence of these websites so that they now have dedicated departments whose job is simply to keep developing new exam questions for the students every semester.

Even if you get your hands on an old exam sheet, it won't be useful beyond being a review tool. The questions are retired per semester these days. So the students cannot expect to memorize a test series like their predecessors used to and expect to pass a test. It has become increasingly difficult to cheat on the academic tests these days. So it would just be a waste of time and money to track down such a site and memorize the test.

There has been an even further reduction in the number of fly by night companies that exist online because of Paypal's refusal to work with questionable academic writing companies. Since not all countries have an alternative, internationally accepted remittance center, the writing companies of the no-good-kind have been forced to close shop. I think there are no more than a handful of legitimate academic writing sites at the moment. Aside from the Paypal situation, most writers have also moved away from the middle man method of writing and have decided to take their chances with self-promotion through social media. So these problematic companies are not as many as they were before.

Just like all other websites online offering services, the client's enter into the agreements at their own risk. It isn't fair to go all negative on CL just because of some bad things that happened on the site all those decades ago. I mean, the site did not do those things, the people using the site did. It isn't fair for the owner of the site to be judged based on criminal / historical and questionable actions done via the site. While it will never be a very popular source of writer services, the reality is, it still shows up in search engines and students will always go there and try things on for size. You could get a great academic writer, or you won't. Nobody can really tell. It's all about how well the client vets the writer anyway.

A leopard will not change its spots. No matter what it's called, the students still expects an original essay to be turned in. The human character in this case, expects the paper to be one that is all original, plagiarism free, grade equivalent appropriate, and of the best paid for quality that can be had. The paper is the same thing, regardless of whether it is a custom made or model essay. The student is never going to bother to rewrite the paper or revise the content to make it appear that they actually wrote the paper.

Pay for original work, make sure it isn't plagiarized, pass the paper to the professor, then hope for the best. With any luck, the student will get the grade and never be caught by the professor using a paid for custom made or model essay.

Writing Careers / Hallo I am a new writer and scared [39]

Since this post was done years ago and the OP never got back to talk about his experience with this company, I can only assume one of two things.

1. He realized he sucked as a writer and decided to stop doing a job he is obviously unqualified for;
2. The company sacked him for consistently bad work, finding himself blacklisted among the inferior essay writing companies.

Either way, I do not see that writer having a future in this business. I bet he did not last long on the job.

When it comes to pirating clients from the company, I will have to admit that the temptation to do that is strong among writers. After all, it will help them finally break free from the handcuffs the writing company put on them. I do not blame the writers who do it. Yes, there are some who do it. Mostly clients who work for those questionable companies that see the writers as slaves instead of business partners. Others, and there are a few who work for me, take the clients with them to the next company. Their reason being that they become valuable writers (that's true) because they brought a client base with them. In this business, writers know that in order to survive, they need to have a regular client base, but not all of them have the ability to set up their own server and company. So I slide into the position of eager problem solver in that case. There's no harm in it. We both benefit from the client, who just wants to have his work done properly by his regular writer.

It is important to keep a consistent writing style during the academic semester. So, unless you have received an extremely useless paper from a writer, you should not switch writing companies during that time. Remember, the professors are conscious of the fact that students use writing services. The dead giveaway is usually when the writing style of the student is constantly changing. The consistency in writing style is one of the ways that students avoid ghost writer detection. However, if you keep changing writing companies and writers, you cannot maintain your cover. The professor will eventually catch on to you. Stick with custompapers whenever you can. They are one of the few reliable writing companies out there.

@FreelanceWriter Turnitin hasn't made pre-written essays worthless. They still have some worth to college students. All college students can benefit from old essays, written by students before them. Don't automatically assume that the student only needs the pre-written paper with a plagiarism intent. There are other students who are honest and simply need a reference point when it comes to writing their own essays. As a college student, don't you remember the experience of getting an essay or research paper assignment, or having to turn in a term paper, without having any idea how to go about researching and writing it? That is where the pre-written essays come in these days. The honest students who just need a point in the right direction turn to pre-written essays for that purpose. Now, if the old essay happens to influence their writing style or opinion, then it comes with the territory. They read the old paper, some of the information is bound to stick to stick and find its way into the new paper. That isn't plagiarism, that is an education. He actually learned something from reading the old paper, which is the whole point of writing the paper.

Essay Services / Legit Custom Writing Site [25]

Based on my talks with the students who have used this forum before, it would appear that they trust the independent writers and writing companies that are listed here. They are mostly problem free, really hire ENL writers, and have excellent client before and after sales systems in place. In fact, I was told that they use any of the writers and companies listed here with confidence. It isn't that the service is perfect, it is just that there is always an amiable relationship created between the writer and client that makes the client smile after completing the order process with the individual or company assigned writer.

I wonder what made the OP think that the call was recorded. Why did he think that they would reverse trace a call, like a cop would, just to be able to blackmail him? There was no evidence presented that this was the case so I find this quite hard to believe. Also, regardless of the type of writing company, they never ask the client to call them first. They always function either via chat or email. I haven't seen a company use email in recent times though. They mostly use chat and social media to contact clients now. So I find myself questioning the last statement of the OP. It seems out of place in the business. It isn't part of the normal client inquiry protocol. The calls usually come after the order is assigned and/or submitted.

Mouths for hire, also known as press agents, exist in every business model. Everything from the academic writing companies to that cute french bulldog you hearted on tiktok have some sort of paid representation. Their job is to simply build the image of the company, product, or person. Truth in advertising does not matter in this case because they are not paid to prove things, just get people interested enough to try things out. Not even Covid-19 can make these hacks shut-up. In fact, they may even find their services more in demand since there is so much news going about, nobody can tell the difference between fake and real news anymore. All these newspapers have comments sections that they need to keep active and since people don't normally want to pay for an e-subscription, the paper or news station is forced to hire paid posters just to get the discussion started, going, and active for as long as they need it to be.

When a student pays for an academic paper, he better be able to use that paper for all his intents and purposes. The client owns the rights to the paper. The person who developed the paper for him, was amply paid for his efforts. It is kind of like working for an IT company. Any software of hardware that an employee develops, using company time or company sources automatically becomes the property of the company. The same applies to the academic writing business. Any research paper a writer develops, once paid by the client, becomes the property of the client. That is how creative businesses manage to thrive and exist. That is how students manage to get passing grades by paying for their academic papers. Submit your paid papers to your heart's content. Just remember to tell the company not to run the paper through a plagiarism checker, that's another story.

Scam companies abound on the web. For all intents and purposes, a student should consider every company and every writer a scam or scammer until the satisfactory completion of the first two orders. @Smiley73 was right to tie in the completion of the transaction with the scam free experience. It encompasses all of the requirements of a non-scam site. A proper discussion with the Client Care staff, a proper ordering and payment system, a clear TOS, a qualified writer assigned to the order, and the grade achievement of the student, based on the writer's work, all work together to create what the student will understand to be a scam free experience. If a student has a problem with any of the procedures along the way, the student will not look for another word to describe the experience other than "I was scammed!!!"

I think I know what @Write Review was driving at here. The OP, who could simply have gotten a job here with a single post, failed to utilize the benefits that this forum provides to newbie writers. Had the OP written more than 3 simple English sentences, he would have caught the attention of the students at this forum, who often lurk about when looking for a writer to hire. Based on my experience, I know that the students who stay in the cover of darkness here often approach the new forum members to see if they can hire the person for the job. I am sure that @Write Review did not mean to insult the OP. Perhaps he was just pointing out that the OP could have written more about his writing skills, experience, or subjects of interest, just to get the ball rolling on his potential job applications. I am sure, had he written more, the helpful people at this forum would have pointed him in the right direction, or involved him in their private writers pool.

General Talk / Is poor essay quality a SCAM? [16]

If the client refers to a specific grade qualification for the paper he ordered, then he fails to receive the specified grade, then the student has been scammed. The company agreed, in principle and via electronic contract, the provide all of the specifications the student had for his paper at the time he placed the order. Said paper should have been given to a writer who could surely deliver on all the important order points. The failure of the company to provide the right type of writer to the student for the completion of the paper indicates that the company scammed the student. There are no exceptions, there are no explanation. Once demands are made by the client and the company / writer fails to fulfill it, but still takes the client's money, what do you call that? Yup, a scam.

Essay Services / Essay outsourcing - yes or no? [17]

I guess this discussion is not really important these days seeing that nobody knows what the regular school year might be like or when it might start again. From what I have heard, the lockdown has affected the academic writing business in a big way. When the schools shuttered their doors, the students, who were supposed to be studying from home took an extended break too. Schools are thinking of simply giving all the students a passing grade anyway since the virtual classrooms are really difficult to keep going.

Getting back on track though, I agree that the student will consider only one thing when they require a paper, the cost. They will automatically assume that as long as they pay for a paper, they will receive a high quality piece of writing. Students don't really bother with the specifics that were posted by the OP. They just want to get the job done at a cost they can afford. So, I agree, regardless of the cost of the paper, the writer is expected to deliver top-notch quality work. Writer location be damned. Only the writer's skills matter to the students.

I think that when writers say they "work for" a website, that means they are employed by the website. Although an employment contract is never part of the deal when working for an academic writing company, they do ask the writer to electronically agree with a prepared set of working conditions. These working conditions usually outline the company expectations of the writer, penalties, and fines, among other information. It is a different form of an employment contract that is meant to benefit only the company, it is never a two way street with these companies. The writers have to agree to the employment terms, even while still remaining "freelance", which in this case only means that they do not have a bundy clock to punch into at the start of the work day. They still work at their own pace, but not always at their own time.

It is precisely because the plagiarism servers have an international database that the essays sold by these companies are referred to as "model papers". These are literally used papers that the student know from the get-go, cannot be submitted for a grade. The aim of these sorts of papers is simply to help hasten the research process. The paper will already have a preset list of citations and references. Anything not over 5 years old will still be usable. Those older than that, can be used a template for research and writing instead.

It is still a good idea to keep old essays for future selling. Based on my experience, the plagiarism software doesn't go back more than a decade in the search for similar paper. Probably because any paper written more than 10 years ago would have irrelevant or outdated information already. Yes, even academic research papers have an expiry date.

Well, there are some writers out there, mostly from the third world, who will do anything to earn a buck. That includes taking the test for a student. Now I do not participate in such practices and my company declines such work orders, but I do know that certain writing companies, whose names I will not mention at the moment, actually offer those services and have VPN services available for their writers who will be hired for such job descriptions. I do not recommend students hire someone to take a test for them. There are too many negatives involved as@Write Review pointed out. If a student fails the test because the writer messed up, the student will not have anyone to blame but himself for failing the course and yes, I believe that this is one situation where a No Refund policy should be set in place. That is, for companies and writers that are willing to take this sort of risk. There are no reliable proctor exam services out there. The only one who will lose in this case, is the student.

I agree that publishing the paper via a blog site is the best way to get even with the company. A blog site will keep the paper there long after the student has graduated and has gone on to working within his chosen profession. However, I have my doubts as to whether the paper being kept on a server for eternity will make any difference.

A blog site that is inactive will eventually be retired by the company offering the service. I am assuming of course that @Write Review was referring to the use of a free blog to house the said paper. I doubt that anybody would go out of his way to use a paid blog site to house the paper that long. So the purpose of publishing the paper on a blog site will eventually be defeated by the need of the blog sponsor to free up server space.

If the student is an ESL student who is hoping to use the model paper to develop his own presentation, then the grammar and punctuation does matter. Actually, it matters, whether the student is submitting it for a grade or not. Turning in a high quality paper is just a normal expectation on the part of a student. He paid for the work, so the writer should turn in a fantastic paper, regardless of how he wants to use it. In the case of an ESL student, the grammar and punctuation will matter because he will basically pull out a synonym dictionary and try to translate it word for word. So grammar accuracy is important. Punctuation matters because most ESL college students would rather use a comma, or no punctuation at all in their writing. So the writer needs to show him where to put the brakes in a sentence or paragraph. Otherwise, the student will never figure out how to revise the paper to make it sound more like he "naturally" wrote the paper.

It is because of companies like these that Paypal eventually cracked down on the academic writing services that used Paypal as a collection company. Paypal could actually have cared less about the academic crackdown of Google and universities, but the rate of complaints that they had to resolve based on these companies are what really broke the camel's back.

These companies did not even think twice about scamming the students. Eventually, Paypal had to come and protect the students from themselves. That is the sad reality of this business. A few bad eggs spoiled the whole basket and made it more difficult for us truthful companies to do out jobs.

Adobe Acrobat can actually be downloaded for safer PDF conversions. Never use free programs. No program is ever truly "Free". They will get something out of the user one way of another as an alternative "fee". That is usually in the form of personal data (email address, mobile number, etc.) or keeping a file copy without telling you. How they will use that file copy is unknown to people outside the company. So never use "free" services. It isn't worth the risk. Yes, I believe that at least the first 50 pages of that report is stored in a database somewhere, waiting for a chance to be used on the company end. Don't risk it. It would be better to use a "limited free use" software instead. That has lesser risk because there is an end date to the "free" usage.

I for one, post my shared office space, OK, its actually an open workspace that I share with other companies, for the reference of my clients. I invite them to come see me at the office for any concerns they might have. Although they only get to see me at the office, since everyone else is in virtual locations that I can easily access from my workplace, it helps that they actually saw an office space, saw other business people interacting with me, and were able to understand that I am part of the 21st century workforce. They are millenials who know how the business works just from seeing the set up. There's no need to hide your location. They aren't expecting a doorman and a valet parking service, or even validated parking when they come to my office space. 2. Website sends a quote only if they are sure they have an available writer able to complete the project.

What i have learned from experience is that the students are mostly cheapskates who will ask for a quote and then never follow through. They won't even honor the company or the writer with a refusal letter that indicates why the decision to not pursue the writing assignment was made. So I never know if the writer quoted too high, the client just needs more time to decide, or the student just changed his mind about placing an order. However, it looks more like they just found a way to get around the "Academic writing" ban in search engines by pretending that the paper is not written for the student and instead, the "teacher" simply "tutors" the student by offering "potential" responses that somehow come with detailed explanations. Since the work is raffled off and I know that they do not use real teachers, I am assuming that this is their way of getting around the "model paper" and "paid essay services" situation that students face. No plagiarism check required because the response is openly posted, so the student will automatically need to paraphrase before using the response. It's a unique business model as far as I can tell. It's an interesting work around on the academic writing gray area.

The academic writing field is the wild west of the business. That means, there is no such thing as legitimate or illegitimate. The business and its practices merely exist to fulfill the financial needs of the writer, the writing company, and the grade requirements of the students. The legitimacy of the business comes from the way the writer deals with the client. A single proprietorship writing business is considered freelance and self-employed. It is a side hustle for all intents and purposes. As such, no business registration is required. The writer may or may not be on the level. The legitimacy of his business will depend upon whether he deals fairly with his clients or not. Those who treat their clients with respect and dignity are those who can be considered a legitimate business and trustworthy writer. A writer who performs otherwise, is definitely illegitimate and a scam. It is important that students understand the obvious difference between the two types of writers, based solely on how they treat their clients.
