The CNN report is based on the fast eroding academic integrity of the international student base. It isn't just an American problem anymore although majority of the users still come from there. In the past, students paid for research papers and projects, but, the students still did their homework. That is no longer the case. These days they pay even for those services, as offered by the same companies. That report was not fake news. Rather, it was a report that reflected the academic issues of its time, and deserves to be updated to cover the new avenue of academic scams, homework.

An online check for the site shows that it has been offline for quite sometime. While page links can be found by search engines, the website itself Is down. I believe that the current situation gives credibility tothe claim that Cite made. It was a scam website connected to a scam company. based on the lack of participation in this thread, it will appear that most students took note of the warning without feeling the need to say so. The company failed to survive because, if one were to read the existing cached pages, it is highly obvious they cannot be of any help when it comes to Western education based homework.

You posted your advertisement in the wong thread. Most likely because direct advertising is unacceptable atthis forum. Why your thread has stayed up this long makes me wonder. What exactly is considered advertising here and what isn't? This is not even a recommendation but a solicitation which to me, counts as advertising. Can someone please clear up this confusion for me? Mods? Seasoned members? Anybody?

From the looks of it, the company name is relatively new. That does not mean the owners are innocent though. They could be seasoned scammers who came together to forum a new company. Very little is known about the company and it's owners at this point for any student to deal with them as a trustworthy lot. Proceed with caution.

Whether the internet usage of the student is monitored or not by the system administrators, it is in the best interest of the student to use a non-university related computer. The worry here should be if the writing company can somehow trace the student's academic connections when he logs into their client system. Ewing on the side of caution, accessing these sites from a freres-fi connection would serve his interests better. While not all companies use IP tracking systems without the permission of the student, there are those who do. These are the ones who have the intent of harming the student through blackmail. The more the student covers his digital tracks, the more protection he applies to himself. Do notuse the school system.

Whatever the reason, fines should not be in place. Consider that the penalty is only applied on the writer's part, with the company share intact, and the reason why such applications are unjust becomes highly evident. The fining system further went out of control during the pandemic, when the company owners decided that they needed to keep more profits for themselves. It was not related to work quality, it had everything to do with greed alone. The owners looked out for themselves all the while knowing that their writers were also in dire need of finances. Greed is the real and only reason for fines.

Freelance writers find it difficult to work for themselves in a business that is difficult to find regular clients for. Aiming to work for others seems like the better option because the legwork is done by someone else. The pay is definitely more regular but comes with problems come payday. Taking stock of your talent and promoting yourself is the more financially responsible choice. Work for yourself. sell yourself on the market. Make money for yourself rather than other people. It is less stressful and more beneficial in the long vern. FLW is the greatest evidence of that work method.

Writing Careers / Native Writers vs ESL Writers [56]

Then the stand should be against companies that come out of third world countries. They are the ones who hire the unqualified writers. They need an assured number of writers working at all times. They mostly need a body count instead of quality workers. Those people are the least of their priorities. The battle isn't between the writers. It is between the fake companies and legitimate freelancers. The poor ES2 writers are sadly caught in the middle, taking the brunt of of the blame when they should not be on that end of the arguement. Let's try to focus the debate on the right parties.

Those who use this forum and other forums similar to this for advertisements, be gone!

It is next to impossible. The companies understand the value of participating in these forums. They realize that students trust the information to be found here. They will always try to work the system and figure out a way to advertise, without being too obvious about it. I think that it is more of an issue of allowing them to properly participate in the forum. Perhaps create an advertising thread where they can advertise and provide responses to general qquestions? Just an idea. Since we cannot successfully ban them then, we should learn to exist alongside them. That way we all win and live in a cooperative manner.

what is the SWIFT or BIC code?
and how do i get the details about the intermediary bank?

These are international bank routing codes that help keep the money transfer on track. A simple phone call to the bank helpline will give you access to these information. You have to know though that will transfers are only a little faster than turtles walking. If you have bills to pay, you are definitely going to miss the deadline for paying. Wile hansfers are no longer advisable in 21st century financial dealings. While still offered as a salary option, fewer and fewer writers are opting for the old ways of recieving payment. Even the companies consider it a bove to use there days.Too much paperwork involved.

Well the company is still standing these days. So much for that prediction. While there are some companies that have neither positive than negative reviews, this company has flooded the with with only positive reviews. This leads me to believe that the company has a legal department that threatens anyone who posts a negative review. They also have an active team of trolls who work 24/7 to ensure that any negative reviews are quickly quashed and covered. Any company that works this way should be approached with caution. This company definitely has something to hide which is why it maybe best not to hire them. Too many accolades becomes questionable at times.

Well if a review is what he wants, it's a review I will give. I reviewed several pages of the site and I have to say that I was left unimpressed. The company is definitely not American, Canadian, or UK. It is probably of Russian or Ukranian origin. The company paid a writer or partner writing company to create the page content. The uncomfortable blurb presentation is indicative of SEO writing. The content is meant to lead paid advertising directly to the site. Which makes the page content less than helpful to the student who is shopping for writing services.

The forum does seem to be edging closer and closer towards its actual mission of becoming a helpful assessment site for writing companies and freelancers. The active disagreements seem to have died down and the never ending " investigative accusations" have come to an end. What is left are logical conversations and useful advice said both in public and in private. The company owners seem to have survived the worst and the forum has come out all the better for it. Basically, the ship rebalanced on its own and those in charge of its navigation, finally found quieter seas to traverse.

Asking if it is a scam is out of place since you seem to have already made up your mind about hiring the company. The information provided certainly appears highly enticing. Students will find themselves unconsciously drawn to checking out the company. So, what stopped you from finally hiring them? Was it the fact that you were called out as the owner of the company ? Is this true? Is that why you could not defend your post? If that is so, then consider yourself lucky that students here did not go any further than maybe, looking over your site.

Students who get scammed online would not want to re-live the nightmare among their friends. All the more they would not entrust their story to a stranger out fora scoop. That interview would actually be the best way to call attention to themselves. One never knows when a member of the faculty might be watching and recognize a particular student based on the narration presented. If one is worried about academic honesty charges, he will never participate in such an exercise. He would keep it a secret, forget about it, and hope no one else ever finds out about it.

The problem is that company writer's output has become more problematic rather than leas. It is not uncommon for a writer to use so much cited cut and paste information that only 10% of the paper in left with orginal wording. so, I cannot really blame the companies for being stricter with their plagiarism checks. Not that they accurately do their jobs since their in-house software is often faulty. At least they are trying. The writers often complain but fail to understand that it is their own lack of writing skills that cause the problem. Learn from the report. Develop the needed skills. Then watch the reports dissipate over time.

Well, they must be commended for creating a believable press release. At that time the avian flu was beginning to achieve pandemic levels. We just got lucky that it did not happen that way. 2 pandemics in 1 century? It could not have gotten any worse than that. They used the press release to "assure" the students hiring them that their writers would always be able to deliver as needed. If was aimed at confidence creation, nothing more. Did it work? Maybe it did. students need this same reassurance now though. Cite pointed this out and I hope some companies or independent miters would take heed.

Just like Cite, I fail to see any problem with anybody leaving an even review of good and bad sites. I believe that it should be done. Students are always bombarded by the negatives at this forum. They are scared to the point that it appears there are no good apples left. Which is so untrue. By encouraging students to properly discuss their positive experiences with both writers and companies, those who come after them will learn and appreciate the true helpful and balanced opinion presentations. Rather than being afraid, they will learn to personally discern the scam from the legit.

It would appear that the company has been around long enough to garner some sort of review. Yet, here we are 2 years later and still there are no reviews available for the company. No positive or negative comments. Which leads me to believe that this is one of the few companies out there that actually delivers as expected. The company has a neutral reputation at this point, indicating an even client experience of a positive kind. It would be wrong of me to try and discover or make up something negative about the company just to create a sensational revival of this thread.

Somehow I would not put much stake into the efforts of a person who uses a freemail account for his business needs. It does not cost much to hire a professional domain name with an accompanying web address. It is difficult for me to trust a person who is such a cheapskate that he cannot invest in himself and his business. A gmail address is too easily created. Which is why not all email accounts attached to it should be busted. I would only trust such a mailing address as a personal account. I cannot trust it beyond a personal use purpose.

checking domain traffic is not really reliable as there are companies that pay for boosted traffic results. These paid results are used to entice investors or falsely advertise the company services. All the companies can claim to be number one, and have varied evidence to prove it. It is pointless to ask this question because all responses to it shall be self-serving. A student will have a personal criteria to prove his preferred company is number one. These are the reasons why I choose to believe all the companies are number one until proven otherwise. What's in a number anyway? Does it increase the trust in the company? Nope.

The OP has an over inflated . of himself and his writing skills. The only clients who might commend his writing skills are fellow ESL students. They cannot till the difference. Now, there might be some skilled Ukranian writers out there but, I have yet to come across one. Having spoken to some of their front desk people, I know that they can write extremely short English sentences well. Writing in full paragraphs becomes a problem because they cannot think in English at that length. Trying to do so creates a mangled, incoherent mess. Do not believe the headline of this thread. That is a full blown lie. Just read the opening post to see evidence of the fraudulent claim.

Information about work assignments and how these are assigned can normally be found in either the FAQ or Writer's section. They may name this section something else on their site but it is readily available information. Google maybe a good place to find the assignment criteria directly but may not be easy to find via search because the company may not have been made searchable. Some companies consider that internal information, making it unsearchable. The best beti n finding the answer would be to email writer support and ask them directly. However, Cite has provided a good overview of the assignment process.

Basically, an American company is one created by an American national / citizen. It must be registered with American business authorities and does pumary business on American shores, states, and when possible, protectorates. An American company follows American business and employment rules. It is American as a business entity and employer because of what comprises the business. These questions do not make any sense because, these are not elements that define what an American company is. Why the debate them? Consider it an education regarding pucaptions and personal definitions of what an American company is to various people. Then go and look up the true American company traits are.

There really seems to be a never ending string of problems coming out of Philippines based writing companies. several of their companies have been unable to pay their writers since the pandemic began. These companies have either struggled to pay their writers, defaulted on payments, or ran from their responsibilities. A few have put their companies on the market. I am not sure if Writers. ph is one of them though. The last time I checked, they were considering defaulting on all their financial obligations. I knew the country was severely affected by their mismanaged pandemic economy, but had no idea their companies were in bad shape till now.

The two-party academic winter system is working just fine. The scam v. non- scam is clearly seen, allowing students freedom of choice. This open system already creates a bond between the members of both groups. Actual open affiliation is not needed. It isn't like they need to carry an affiliation card of any sort. The in-fighting among the aforementioned writers is caused by nothing more than competition. Nothing will erase that even if they are grouped by writing abilities. I do not see this group ever banding together for their own good. They simply have too much animosity to overcome.

That way your business will be perfectly legal around the world

That would still Fall under false advertising on a global level. A company needs to have at least 60-75% of properly documented employees to make that claim legal. The suggestions made are merely covers for the truth. The fact that the company is a house of cards staffed by liars and cheats. Transparency is always best when trying to avoid being called a scam. clients will trust a company that tells the truth and asks for a chance to prove itself rather than a company that pmisrepresents itself in the eyes of the public. Openness is the only way to win trust in this business.

@Cite international listings also show that the county has had the longest lock- down on ucord during the pandemic. It is also one of the last countries to still prevent face to face classes. It has a hopeless educational system. so the country cannot be expected to produce academically competent written. They barely have educated students. I don't believe they should be hired at all. An fact, it would be better to hire a writer out of India than the Philippines. The country already fails to provide the most basic academic writer requirement, an education. That completely disqualifies them from the job.

If I were an honest student who wants to learn how to write certain papua properly, I would not have any qualms about purchasing a sample paper that cannot be turned in for a grade. This would act mou as an educational tool for myself. Draining formats, citation types, and also having a short cut to applicable sources would be worth the money. There is nothing wrong with this practice if the student has clean and clear instructions for this act. The writer then takes on the role of mentor, which gives him a valid reason for his presentation style.

Writing Careers / Can't log in at Uvocorp.! [12]

There are times when problematic writers are intentionally locked out of the system after upgrades are made. some, but not all companies do this to discourage the writer from further working with them. They want to encourage an amicable separation that way. It does not always work out peacefully though as some writers still have pending payouts and are prevented from filing for it. Writers should also worry that it means the company is close to shutting down and taking the writers money with them. Not recieving a response to an inquiry email about a writer account is always a very bad sign.

Students are not normally s with the C P P the writer is paid. Neither do they actually care. They just look at the final order price and decide. They cannot be bothered with such relevant information. All they know and care about , is that someone is willing to be paid to do the work. They tend to believe that the full amount charged to them represents the writers salary in full. I can't flame them for misunderstanding. They don't recieve a payment breakdown as a part of their general format e-ecrept. What the OP found out in not out of the ordinary. It is actually an industry norm.

Maybe consider the texbook definition of a scam before freely using the word in reference to companies at the forum?

Scam - a confidence game or other fraudulent scheme, especially for making a quick profit; swindle.

Based on this definition, a company cannot be described asa scamsimply based on its global location, which is what some people believe is part of the description of a scam. If it were then international beenscing could be considered fraudulent. When a company truthfully identifies its location and delivers its offered service, it is not considered a scam. However, when the service is not delivered, no rectification is made, and no client assistance exists, that, is a scam.

Finding the best writer for your needs can only be based on a trial and error criteria. Be it a company or individual writer, you won't know until you have tried them. What is important is that they clearly understand what you need them to produce. The communication problem is where a majority of the problem occurs, leading to failed services. Any client owes it to himself to find out the English comprehension skills of both agents and writer candidates prior to hiring. Failure to do so will result in a nasty experience that could traumatize the student and creating his distrust in either services.
noted

I would not use their services if I were you. Students who have been burned by this company point first to lousy customer service, then talentless writers. The company does not have any actual file keeping method. The client support agents have no way of tracking your order so you end up getting different, sometimes conflicting responses from every agent you follow up with. Which leads to escalated tension on both sides, resulting in refund requests. As for the work done, it will have the student wishing that "the dog ate my homework" was a valid excuse to not submit the written work.

Reselling papers is not exactly a violation of trust as it was first percieved to be. Seeing as how more and more students are being made to understand that they are purchasing model papers, even when they paid for an original paper, the ability of the company to resell the paper in the future is obvious. All the student is paying for in the original paper relates to updated information and sources. They are not sold the rights to claim a glade for the work. Students who wish to do that should ask first. That is, if they don't have the time to read the TOS.

Those threads should be retired and removed to prevent confusing the students in the future. It is pointless to wan them about a company that killed itself. That would be like a chiropractor calling himself a doctor. There was no need to ask if it was a scam or not. Common sense dictates that it was a scam and anybody who fell for it, a fool. Healthy competition means using black propaganda sometimes. Discrediting one another is how competition promotes wally. Rumors about companies are what helps each improve their services. Is impersonation part of the game? In some instances, yes. Social media fake accounts abound. So too, does fake websites. These serve purposes for the people that created them. This is a new type of identity fraud. The problem related to the of filing charges lies in the difficulty of tracing the source. Finger pointing is one thing. Proving the accusations based on "he said, she said", that is Inadmissible in court. Which is probably why nothing happened beyond an online squabble between parties.

The company decided to suspend their hiring process for the time being. While they say they are accepting applicants, their hiring process is a dead-end. Either the page suddenly fails or, the process is completed but communication e-mails never come. Following up via their chat system is hopeless as there is not even a bot on the other end to deliver an automated response. You can wait forever for a person or AI to pick your message up from the queen. It isn't going to happen. So, where exactly do their writers come from then? Surely they have a regular writing staff? Or, maybe the owners mite the papers themselves?

From the looks of it, the company has been defunct for years now. so the reaction of lite, and the interest in the post has no relevance. Even the OP, whom I am sure recieved a post response notice, did not bother to respond anymore. Probably because of the relevance of the said post. Anyway, a company that lacks longevity was never a good company to begin with. There is no doubt the company did not treat the clients and writers well. Otherwise, they would have still been in business.
